Avoid avoid avoid! This company is an absolute joke to try to reach on the phone or by email nobody ever response. I've been trying to cancel this service since January 2023 when I closed my business. I have used their cancellation online at least six times never a response. Instead, my monthly payment was recently doubled, even though I never authorized that. Every month I get an invoice, every month I send a response to please cancel nothing! Never a response. The product itself did work well for us but these last 2 years have been a nightmare. I never post reviews like this but I didn't know what else to do. My husband went to this shop in December to show them a deep scratch in the leather of the front seat of my car. The employee there told him that he recommended buying the complete leather seat from Nissan and then they would install it for $150. We ordered the part (complete leather seat cover) and when he went back today the owner quoted over $300 to install. There's nothing we can do since my husband didn't get the quote in writing, but I feel that this needs to be shared for anyone that considers coming here. If it will cost $300 then that's what they should've quoted and therefore, I'd rather spend that money elsewhere. read more

I never yelp but I just had to Robert went out of his way to help me LIFE SAVER. I bought leather/ suede custom seat covers from a online company for my 2021 chevy truck I took it to High Quality Auto Upholstery to get a estimate Robert inspected the seat covers and informed me that the covers won't work return them and get your money back. I went to another shop the man said yes the cover will work and had them installed and it was horrible I asked them can you make it fit better and the guy told me no that he didn't make the covers and thats the best there going to fit. I was so pissed I'm in tears thinking I spent a lot of money on the covers and labor went back to High Quality and asked for help Robert told me to fix the covers he needs to modify them and he can't guarantee it will work but he will try. Roberts workmanship is 2nd to none big big big difference my seats look beautiful he fixed everything. I told Robert I really want to give the other shop a bad review but he said you can do what ever you want but I did tell you the covers won't work so I won't be giving the other shop a review. Can't say enough good things about High Quality Auto Upholstery in Santa Clarita. The two front seats of our 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee had a couple tears along the side edges. The seats are a combination of leather and vinyl with leather in the middle and vinyl on each side. Robert not only repaired the tears but also replaced the other side of each seat so they would match! (We didn't ask him to do that but are so thankful he did!) The seats now look brand new and the color and texture of the vinyl matches the interior and the rest of the leather seats perfectly. We highly recommend High Quality Auto Upholstery! Great service. Took in the seat from my 1968 dirt bike which needed a new vinyl cover and new foam. Robert took a look at it and said he could produce an exact replica of the cover complete with the OEM white piping and replace the foam and it would be ready in a couple of weeks. Price was very fair since I can't actually buy a reproduction seat cover for this model of bike. Right on time, the seat was ready, looked like it had come from the factory, and the price was the same as he'd quoted me up front. Very friendly staff and plenty of parking at the shop. I highly recommend Robert's work if you're restoring a bike or car. read more

a friend told me to go check him out for a tear in my seat. went and got a quote, he took my information and said he would call me when the fabric came in. Well it has been 6 weeks now and he has not called. Even if the fabric did take this long to get a little customer service would go a long way. I think since it was not a full job he was not interested which makes me more mad. If he did not want to do the job in the first place because it was to small he should have told me he was not interested. Overall not impressed and do not recommend wasting your time. read more

As you can see, I am not a big "yelper" but I just had to come on here and say that I stopped by High Quality Auto Upholstery unannounced to see if someone could give my sunroof shade a quick look. There was someone sweeping up the shop when I pulled up- his name was Robert. He promptly came over to me and I told him what the problem was. He looked at it, went and grabbed some tool, came back out and fixed it. And he CHARGED ME NOTHING! And he was NICE! I do not recommend this shop. I went there with a very simple task that I needed completed and that was to put a seat cover I ordered on ebay on a seat that I already prepped and was ready to go. I left the seat there and told the guy what I wanted. The next day I get a call saying that the seat cover doesn't fit so I immediately came over. Do note that the seller on ebay has pictures of this seat cover on the same seat and has sold hundreds of skins. The boss wasn't there again when I showed up to see the seat and I talked to the guy working there. I looked at the seat and they had added an inch of foam to the entire thing... So they were unable to show me that the seat skin didn't fit. I said why did you add this foam? The seat was perfectly fine. It was a 25 year old seat with the cleanest foam you will ever find. I didn't get an answer and was told to come back in four days after there vacation to talk to the boss. I called the boss that night 3 times and was unable to leave a voicemail. I emailed him and told him whats going on and my concerns. 4 days later I get a call in the morning rudely telling me that I sent him (the boss) a nasty email and to come pick up my seat. He had pulled the foam off. I showed up and took the seat. Its now covered in glue and hopefully in good enough shape that it doesn't need to be modified. This shop refused to do what I asked with MY product and modified my very hard to find seat with out asking me and with no intention of telling me whats going on. I NEVER told the shop to modify or make me a new seat cover but when I saw the seat that's what they were doing. I wish this shop would have never messed with my seat with out prior approval. I will NEVER go here again and I recommend everyone else find a better shop. Even if you have to go out of town. You deserve better customer service and a more legitimate shop to go to. read more

After calling around I found this place. I had a 2011 Honda Pilot with torn armrests on front driver and front passenger doors and also the center console was torn. I spoke to Robert he was prompt, courteous and very easy to work with. I texted him pictures and he was able to give me an estimate quickly while other places said they needed to see the vehicle which was very difficult because I work late during the week. He even offered to stay a little later if I needed just to accommodate my later work schedule. Robert was very professional the first time I met him and he even offered to provide me a ride because he needed to keep my vehicle for a few hours. The work he did looks perfect. It exceeded my expectations and he was able to find an exact match for the armrests and center console. The vehicle looks like new again. I highly recommend his shop to anyone and would definitely use him again. I called every auto upholstery place in Santa Clarita, San Fernando Valley and Van Nuys...
