I had been a returning customer. Unfortunately, I totally lost me trust in them, and I will never…read morego back. When I picked up my car, I immediately noticed damage to the front paint. About two minutes later, my tire pressure warning light also came on. To be completely fair, I fully agreed that they should not simply rely on my word regarding the paint damage. They told me they needed to review their security footage and the photos/videos taken before they started working on my vehicle. I respected that process because businesses should verify the facts before accepting responsibility. More than 24 hours later, Fernando called and told me the damage had already been there when I arrived. I then politely asked if they could send me the footage they relied on to reach that conclusion. His answer was simply, "No." That is where they completely lost my trust. If my statement alone is not enough for them and they need video evidence before making a decision, then it is only fair that I be allowed to see the same evidence they are using to deny my claim. Instead, I was expected to simply trust their word while they refused to provide the footage they claimed supported their position. I find that lack of transparency extremely concerning. Whether the damage was there beforehand or not is almost beside the point. Refusing to share the very evidence you rely on while expecting the customer to accept your conclusion without question does not inspire confidence--it undermines it. Trust is earned through transparency, and it goes both ways. A business cannot say, "We don't trust your word, so we need evidence," while at the same time refusing to show that evidence and expecting the customer to blindly trust theirs. "That's how we work" is not an acceptable explanation. Because of this experience, I will never return. I cannot recommend a business that expects transparency from its customers while refusing to practice it themselves.

Parts and labor? $120. Subaru Santa Monica quoted me essentially a 90% markup. This place truly preys upon if you don't know about cars or aren't under warranty. Avoid if you're not under warranty- I knew these places could be bad but not this bad.

Well, once I dug into the process, saw that the work is warranted for a year, I figured I'd give them a shot. First, we had them do two aftermarket wheels which relatively minor damage. The result was pretty incredible. The wheels looked good as new and honestly, I couldn't remember where the blemishes were . Months later the wheels looked great. Today, we got four wheels on my wife's car done, all with curb rash to a varying degree and the result was great. The challenge today wasn't the damage, it actually wasn't super complex or extensive. It was the color. From the factory, the color is pretty unique, but the Dr. Wheel team got it pretty much exactly. A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. Not that I hope to get more curb rash on any of our wheels (nor do I wish that for you!), but if we do, we will definitely go back to them. We've already referred them to a few neighbors.

Carlos is honest and professional. I needed engine mounts on my older car and he gave me a choice of after market or OEM and recommended the OEM. I chose the after market because they were much cheaper and High Tech Auto installed the engine mounts efficiently and with a cheaper labor cost than any other repair shop in the vicinity. I highly recommend this shop. Also, Carlos responds to most of these Yelp comments which indicates that he cares about his business and his customers. read more

Drove to LA from vegas for vacation and my check engine light came on. Pep boys had sait its 89.99 just to tell me what was causing the light to come on!! Uhhhhhh no thanks! Carlos did a free diagnostic and let me know it was a transmission code coming up. My waterpump was replaced, and despite the receipt showing it was an Audi part, it was actually a shi tty aftermarket part. Now I'm having to pay to replace it again with a genuine Audi part. Additionally, the alleged that they replaced the oil pan gasket and it either wasn't done correctly. Or they used the wrong type of sealant because that also needs to be replaced. Avoid coming here.

Instead, I was quoted approximately $6,000 to replace the engine after it failed shortly following service at your shop, and I declined that proposal. Had a no-cost replacement been offered, I would have gladly accepted it. I had invested most of my savings into that car. It was my first major purchase. Given that you left this process completely unscathed, your inaccurate statements about me and the situation feel unnecessary, unprofessional, and overall unkind. Everyone, please be very cautious when taking your car here.

I had been a returning customer. Unfortunately, I totally lost me trust in them, and I will never…read morego back. When I picked up my car, I immediately noticed damage to the front paint. About two minutes later, my tire pressure warning light also came on. To be completely fair, I fully agreed that they should not simply rely on my word regarding the paint damage. They told me they needed to review their security footage and the photos/videos taken before they started working on my vehicle. I respected that process because businesses should verify the facts before accepting responsibility. More than 24 hours later, Fernando called and told me the damage had already been there when I arrived. I then politely asked if they could send me the footage they relied on to reach that conclusion. His answer was simply, "No." That is where they completely lost my trust. If my statement alone is not enough for them and they need video evidence before making a decision, then it is only fair that I be allowed to see the same evidence they are using to deny my claim. Instead, I was expected to simply trust their word while they refused to provide the footage they claimed supported their position. I find that lack of transparency extremely concerning. Whether the damage was there beforehand or not is almost beside the point. Refusing to share the very evidence you rely on while expecting the customer to accept your conclusion without question does not inspire confidence--it undermines it. Trust is earned through transparency, and it goes both ways. A business cannot say, "We don't trust your word, so we need evidence," while at the same time refusing to show that evidence and expecting the customer to blindly trust theirs. "That's how we work" is not an acceptable explanation. Because of this experience, I will never return. I cannot recommend a business that expects transparency from its customers while refusing to practice it themselves.

Greg had his mechanic install the new lug nuts that I already had, at no additional cost. The facility has limited areas to wait, but there is a nearby coffee shop within a short walking distance.
