I always had a terrible fear of dental work and though no one likes it, this office does everything possible to keep you comfortable and relaxed. Barron passes the duty to her favorite and believes that just because she's worked with her for years, that this is acceptable. That hygienist jacked my tooth leading to damage to another and Barron tried to excuse and normalize this. When I spoke out, she tried to bully me and gaslight me. Barron is a decent dentist. Her office staff are sweet. But, her hygienists act like border patrol. Her judgement and practice are not representative of CO law. This office is all about the upsale. If she says you need a root canal, get another opinion. Find someone else if you wish to avoid further financial and physical harm.

Their billing practices are terrible and they hired an unprofessional admin for the front desk and the dentist I preferred left early when he was supposed to examine me and I finally had enough. It frustrated me to learn that in January 2024 Glacier peaks, Dr Applesies, decided to not accept certain dental insurances, which basically, dentists do to make more off 'higher paying' insurance plans. The office staff showed no sympathy, they never were really friendly, so when I told them that my family as well as other friends and family were going to find another dentist, they simply didn't care. They did, however, mention that we could 'pay out-of-pocket' the difference. Really? Wow! Talk about feeling the brush off, it's not about the patient just the money.... so surprised because I always felt like it was a good patient, doctor rapport until this happened. He had good patients but basically kick them out due to your focus on $$$$. The doctors here are so wonderful and helpful. They go above and beyond to help your mouth stay comfortable and healthy. The hygienists are all so great and kind. I kept receiving bills for other family members that have the same last name, but we have our own households and insurance. They once tried to get me to pay someone else's bill after my appointment. I had to explain to them, again, that we have separate insurances and households. My last appointment in JUNE was apparently done by an out of network doctor, but at this clinic. It was a regular cleaning and 100% insurance covered. I received a voicemail from North Washington dental on Oct 17th that I owe them $$. I called back and they said my insurance sent me the check instead of them, and multiple times they told me I cashed this check. I explained over and over I didn't receive any check. Called my insurance and they told me the claim was still open and they'll send me a check. However, North Washington sent a dept collector, but they messaged my parents and had my father's name on there. My parents were confused why they would owe money to a dentist they no longer go to. I called the dentist and tried to explain that the voicemail from OCTOBER was the ONLY communication I received about this situation. They insisted they reached out many times. Maybe they did, but it wasn't to me. Today I finally received the insurance check and went to the dentist to pay. They still charged me a fee (late fee I'm guessing? ) she didn't explain why, even though I told her again that I JUST received the check from insurance. Very frustrated with how everything was handled.

They…read moretook full mouth x-rays and stated I had two lower cracked/broken teeth that they could fill for me reasonable priced. I agreed only to relieve some of my pain and sensitivity. The doc tried to numb up my lower jaw - TWICE - as there must have been exposed nerves and I nearly came out of my seat. After the doc drilled, he left the tech to do the rest. It was prolonged pain, after numbing!! It was brutal. She told me I needed to use sensitive toothpaste, do not rinse, leave it on my teeth overnight for an extended period of time. It has been 5 days and my pain has increased 5x! I cannot sleep, I cannot eat, I cannot get through a work day without 800 mg of ibuprofen. I called, all the gal said is you have to come back..... I am in so much pain after the first cost and procedure, it was suppose to "fix" my issue, my pain is nearly unbearable into my ear, down my neck, my mouth broke out in sores, I just can't go back with any confidence.
