Always drove past this brewery since it's on a very visible corner, but never stopped in until a recent trip to Frisco where we stayed within walking distance. We ordered their hazy IPA but can't recall the exact name. Not the best, but pretty good. The place was packed with large groups celebrating, kids, and plenty of dogs on a Friday night. Definitely a five star place! They allow dogs inside (please don't bring noisy dogs!) Got a BBQ chicken flatbread, a flight of six beers. Their American Pale Lager is probably the most regular hipster beer I've tasted in a while. I love it. My uncle can drink this and my friends who's store manager at his vape shop. The flatbread was great, lots of flavor and decent dough. Bartender was attentive to us, very knowledgeable about their beer selection. Great place for friends, I saw a few babies too! read more

The location, beer, and brewery are all good. We had an issue that was not handled right. We ordered a flat bread pizza and after 40+ minutes we let them know it had not been delivered. Then they waited 10 minutes to ask us what our order was. And then it took another 15 minutes for it to be delivered. When it was finally delivered, all we got was a "sorry about the wait" as the server dropped and ran away. This is a very competitive market for dining. They need to get their act together. read more

Hands down one of the best locally owned breweries in Summit County. Great beer selections from Pale Ales, Red, Pilsners, IPA's and a Porter. Great location right off HWY 9 for a tourist driving through Frisco or a local to ride their bike after work. You can stop for a beer, or two, and stay for a bite to eat or even live music. I was highly skeptical of the 5 star review with only 14 reviews at the time of our visit. Color me impressed. First, they have a full spectrum of choices. Too many craft joints focus only on the IPAs and other varieties get sidelined. I love a good IPA, but I have a soft spot for Ambers. Their Irish Red was fantastic. One of the two or three best I've had. Ambience was very modern without being pretentious. They had a live folk/bluegrass band that was fantastic. Nice work. Keep it up. read more

This place is great, the beer was good and the food has gotten way better from previous reviews. They now have a BBQ pit master leading the food and it was delicious. We had the pulled pork sandwich, salmon dip, and nachos that were all tasty. Also, they did a great job making you feel safe with the whole COVID-19 stuff. Sooooo good and different BBQ for what we are use to (not sloppy nor greasy or overly fatty, actually tasted healthy for you) .. we shared the house-smoked Norwegian salmon dip w crackers/celery/carrots, smoked tri-tip thinly sliced smoked steak with chimichurri sauce, chipotle mayo, pickled red onion sammich served cold (I was uncertain at first, assuming tri-tip would be fatty but NOPE fooled me) and my fiancé had the sliced harris ranch prime brisket with a mountain of jalapeño/garlic coleslaw, house BBQ on a toasted potato bun. We chose this place specifically for the beer, but we had no idea that the food was going to be awful. I ordered tacos which were flavorless mush wrapped in a tortilla. I tried adding any condiment I could to at least make them edible, but to no avail. My wife ordered a caesar salad and paid an additional $4 for chicken. Not to mention, the chicken was practically inedible because of how overcooked it was. I tried a bite as well, but I could barely stab my fork through a piece of chicken. I realized these are trying times for restaurants and very much want the review to be positive. We're thankful that the brewery is pet friendly and has patio seating. We sat down our waitress asked if we'd like something to drink, followed by "Do you guys even drink at all?". I mean what kind of question is that? Because we are Asians (and clueless) so we don't know this is a brewery?! I thought that was super odd to begin with. When it came to food, our Tri-Tip was dried like jerky. The tortilla was stale. Flavorless and dry..I also noticed one of the waitress picked up a dog, petting, hugging and kissing. I never know if she washed her hands (esp. during COVID)? Stopped by this brewery on the way back from skiing Copper Mountain. Great space - like any good brewery - dogs and good vibes. The servers were awesome and their beers are interesting - I don't always love the novelty kind of beers (vanilla cocoa stout and the chile blonde) but these were really good! The bartender was very friendly and there's live music and games all over the tables. The only thing that annoyed us was that it's "a bar" and you had to serve your own self water out of a cooler. Stopped by after kayaking and ate with friends and family during COVID. The hostess brought us to a table that clearly hadn't been cleaned. After sitting for 20 minutes it was apparent they forgot about us. We went to the hostess who asked if we had been seated by someone else. I guess she forgot about us in a very literal sense in that she didn't even remember seating us. It wasn't very busy so I'm not sure how it happened. I had the brisket and pulled pork which were both good. The BBQ sauce was only enough for one of the portions and probably should have been applied to the meat in advance. The beer was good, though someone at our table got the cucumber flavored beer and they couldn't finish it because of the taste. My brother got a chicken appetizer that was literally three small chicken wings priced like it would have been more. read more

This review is for the beer only, because I have not eaten here. The beer is fantastic, and offers a wide variety. Nitro stout, lager, brown ale, pale ales, sour beer, even a non alcoholic root beer. Winning for everyone! On today's trip, I tried the Rye'd In The Pine pale ale, which had a nice amount of hoppy at 45ibu. The Spoonful peanut butter brown was tasty, but had only a hint of peanut butter and I wish it had more. The Vienna lager was smooth and almost a little creamy, and was my choice for a fill in the growler I brought. Nicely priced for a fill too. I wish I also tried the lemonade sour beer, the nitro stout, and the coconut pineapple beer. But I limit my tastings when doing a growler fill, even though I want to try every tap. So, next time. This was a cool and trendy establishment. The food and craft beer was very tasty. I didn't go upstairs as I wanted to be by the craft draft beer at the main level, so I don't know what the upstairs looks like. I can imagine that this place gets a good crowd in warmer months. This place is so nice and the beer is delicious! Lots of options which is rare for a new brewery. I think they had over 12 beers on tap. I love lagers and they had a very good selection of those. They also allow dogs inside and outside which is very nice. There is a kitchen upstairs that delivers food, we did not order but it all looked good! read more

This was a very disappointing experience. I don't drink beer and only came with my husband. The bartender was kind of a jerk because I ordered root beer. My husband had a brown ale and said it was ok. The fish tacos were not very good. Fishy tasting. The flatbread was just okay and we didn't even get the carnitas tacos. It is a weird setup for food. One of my favorite places to visit. It took over an old brewery called backcountry brewery A few years ago and it has been nothing but positive changes. The beer is great. The food is great (sandwiches can be requested warm.). Always recommend the dos mas or the farmhouse. Anyways, great service and beautiful views of peak one! We tried the peanut butter brown and there was no peanut butter flavor. We got the fries with truffle salt which was a good size for the price.
