Great bbq! Had the brisket potato was amazing! Also recommend the wings! Beer was great always have great flavors. Staff was friendly and helpful. Always a favorite when we are in town

Great beer, good bbq, dogs, games, live music - what else can you ask for?! Service is awesome and they'll let you try samples to find your favorite brew. The spot is spacious and has several big couches and chairs next to a large warm fireplace. I loved that it was dog friendly. Food options are outstanding - the brisket was perfectly cooked and there was a great selection of sauces. We've been here before, we will come back, and continue to recommend as one of our favorite breweries in the Rocky Mountains!

The beer was awesome and the food was also. Their Mac n cheese had a good flavor, I think Gouda was the base. I tried the brisket and enjoyed it. It was a little pricier than I expected, but was fine. Note that you can't park in front of the business and have to park a few spots down the main street there.

Food, service ambiance, everything has declined considerably. The few people (4) that worked tonight were doing the best they could so I have no beef with the employees; however, no one was waiting on the tables( they had zero waiters) and we had to walk to the bar to order drinks and food. We ordered Southwest Salad which consisted of black beans, chips and ranch dressing (very little salad)- this was much closer to nachos. We questioned the salad and the cook stated this was their version of a salad. The macaroni and cheese was bland and smothered in cheese. The turkey sandwich tasted good but it was a $17 grilled turkey sandwich- very overpriced. The bar had decent microbrewery options but all the mixed drinks were made using rail liquor. This place used to have good waiters, gas fire pits that provides additional ambiance, and the food portions did not leave you running to the local Safeway for dinner! This restaurant has declined significantly and leaves much to be desired.

We spent an impromptu day/night in Frisco, and were in search of a brewery to spend the afternoon at after a long morning of hiking. After considering a few, we stopped at Highside given the food truck, as well! It's a cute little no frills place with great beer and space to hang out. They had some table games, but many people also came to work. We loved that the food truck set up allows you to bring your dog into the taproom. We enjoyed a flight of all of their beers and pulled pork nachos with all of the sauces. The mustard sauce was my favorite, but they were all solid! The beers were also solid - I don't typically enjoy dark beers but I enjoyed the pilsner and Oktoberfest per usual! Overall, very chill spot that I'd recommend for an afternoon snack break. :)

The staff is very friendly and taproom is nice but the beers were just okay. Nothing special. We tried the peach sour and Fresco chili and both were average at best. There is food truck outside with lots of food but sadly close to none vegetarian option. I Would say go there for the proximity of downtown but don't expect much!

Love it here! Everytime Im in frisco I find myself back at highside brewing. I love trying new things so the flight was just what I needed. Along with beer, Highside brewing also has quite the bbq menu! And what else could go better with bbq other than a bunch of house made bbq sauces to pair it with.

My boyfriend and I were on the road, and we made a pit stop in Frisco to take a break from driving and to get dinner. Frisco is a small town, and the options available on a Tuesday during off-season were pretty limited. We wanted a quick and delicious meal at a casual place, and Highside Brewing was the best option that we saw. Highside Brewing has beer and BBQ - the perfect combo - and the menu has ample options on there. We settled on a flight, a two meat platter, and some tacos al pastor. After a long day of driving, good beer was really refreshing. Beware of the Frisco chile beer though - that one really does have a spicy kick to it, but it is great if you want something to wake you up. Otherwise, the Frisco gold is a standard beer that is pleasant and easy to drink. The two meat platter was a decent amount of food. We chose pulled pork, brisket, and baked beans for our platter. The pulled pork and beans were ok, but the brisket was delicious. It was soft, flavorful, and not too fatty. The tacos al pastor were delicious as well. Highside Brewing was a great choice for dinner. The beer and BBQ were both good. The service was a little slow, but the staff was nice. The place has a cool vibe, and there is plenty of space to hang out at. The taproom is downstairs, the bar is upstairs, and there is outdoor dining space too. There were no events going on when we were there, but there sometimes is live music or trivia night. We would have hung out longer, but we had to get back on the road.

There was absolutely no way we were driving past the Frisco exit without pulling off. Outer Range is our ultimate mountain pit stop. They have an awesome location with a stunning modern build and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the fresh mountain air. It is wild to think that we just visited their sister location in the French Alps during our recent European travels. The fact that they can maintain total excellence across two different continents is unreal. The two spots are completely equal, and the Colorado taproom continues to prove why they are world-class. The beers were spectacular as always. We started out with a couple of pints of their New England-style juice. In the Steep is a masterclass in the style with a beautiful, pillowy mouthfeel and heavy tropical notes. Sun in the Clouds was just as impressive. It delivers those bright citrus flavors without the aggressive hop bitterness. I even noticed Cross Flow on the tap list, which is a fresh, hazy collaboration they just put out with Casey Brewing. Before packing back into the truck, we made sure to grab a new metal tacker to hang up in the garage. We also snagged a four-pack of Lil John Wayne. The can art is easily the funniest label on the shelf, but the actual beer is a solid ten out of ten. To fuel the final stretch of the drive home, we ordered from Bird Craft right inside the brewery. They do not cut corners here. They are frying up full wings, including the drummies and the flippers, and they will toss them in any of their house sauces for an incredible snack. The skin stays remarkably crispy even under a thick coat of sauce, and the meat stays perfectly juicy. It is exactly the kind of savory comfort food you need after a long road trip. Every single time we stop by this place, they manage to completely knock it out of the park.

They have a "Thai-ish" fried chicken spot as their food vendor, which is pretty good. Their pork belly fried rice and bird bowl was also good. Decent spot if you're in the area, tough to get a spot on weekends (find your own table as people leave).

We were immediately greeted and shown to a table. Waitstaff was wonderful and joked with us as if we were old friends. That's always the best feeling. While they stayed professional we cracked up here and there! We started off with calamari. Both the red pepper marinara and spicy aioli hit the spot. Calamari was fresh out the fryer and brought to our table so quick! I ordered a lasagna Bolognese and that also came out fast and super fresh. I could only finish half of it and that was all that was needed to make the trek home. Keeping this place on the map. By the time we left it was nearly packed! The main drag has so many good options. Food: I thought it was going to be just so-so, Olive Garden level italian food. I was wrong! I first asked our waiter, Brian, for recommendations and he said they were known for their Mama G's classic red sauce. We ordered the bruschetta and I got the linguini and meatballs, which has the famous red sauce. My gf got the lasagna and the greek salad. The bruschetta was delicious. I really hate it when restaurants throw diced tomato and basil on toast and call it bruschetta, Greco's did not. The crostinis were perfectly toasted - crispy but didn't crumble everywhere and didn't cut up the inside of your mouth. The balsamic reduction over the bruschetta was delicious, but I think the tomatoes, red onion, basil and garlic were mixed with some balsamic vinegar or something similar before being added to the crostinis and glazed. Vinegar should always be used to brighten veggies, not overpower them, and Greco's nailed the vinegar-tomatoes proportion. It was fresh, crisp, flavorful, and had the perfect amount of salt to enhance the tomato flavor. My girl's greek salad was huge. I didn't taste it, but I trust her opinion, and she said it was delicious. She didn't finish it but did take it back to the airbnb and is already snacking on it again :) The lasagna was delicious as well. The noodles were thin, so it didn't feel like we were biting into a chunk of pasta toast with sauce and ricotta as the butter, which happens often with lasagnas. This lasagna had the best ricotta cheese I have ever had. I asked the waiter if they used a bechamel sauce in the lasagna because of how creamy it was, but it was just the ricotta! They do not make it in house, I asked, and I wish I knew where it was from. Gf still won't stop talking about the lasagna and called her brother to tell him about it, lol. The star of the show: The red sauce. Our waiter wasn't kidding when he said it's delicious. I genuinely got mad when I tasted it because I've always been proud of my red sauce, and no sauce has ever beaten my recipe, but now I'm determined to scratch my recipe up and recreate this one. Sauce is the most important part of a pasta dish, so a plain sauce always means a plain dish, and you have to depend on parmesan to make it better. Not this one! It was a beautiful, bright red, fresh, tangy, with the smaaaaaaaaaallest hint of spice. I'm wondering if they add a splash of balsamic reduction for the tang? Not sure, but sure as heck wish I knew. It literally tastes as vibrant and bright as it looked. If there's one thing you try at this restaurant, it has to be a dish with the red sauce. Lastly, we got a free cheesecake with a homemade strawberry sauce. I didn't know the sauce was homemade until I bit into it and I literally wanted to throw my spoon down and stand up out of pure bliss like that guy on TikTok who checks meat for tenderism. It was so good. Strawberry sauce is often overpowering, just a thick, nasty, too-sweet syrup, but this sauce tasted more like a jam. I loved it. Drinks: I got water. Gf got riesling. She really liked it! Environment: Warm. As soon as you enter, it feels like you're walking into a cozy, golden little restaurant. They do have TVs all over, so if you're into sports, good for you! The lighting was not bright but not dim, it felt....gold? That's the best way I can describe it. It wasn't too loud in the restaurant, so you didn't have to speak up and you couldn't hear other people's conversations, but it also wasn't dead quiet and we did go when there were only about 4 other tables being used. So I really don't know about how loud it is when it's packed! It was also warm in there, which is nice for a Texan like me who isn't a fan of the cold ;) Overall the environment was very warm and welcoming. Price: Fair pricing! Actually, pretty affordable for such fresh and local ingredients! Our bill was about $100 for what we ordered and the two glasses of wine. I think that's pretty fair! Staff: I didn't catch the name of the guy who took us to our table, but he was very welcoming and kind! We chatted about what we're doing here in Colorado and he let us sit at the booth table right next to the window. He said it was the best seat in the house ;) He was great! We also LOVED Brian, our waiter. He was so welcoming, kind, attentive, he knew all about the menu, he was incredible. He literally made our nights from how much of a doll he was. This was my first night up here in Colorado ever, so he was the first Colorado-ian that I spoke to! I truly hope everyone else here in this state is as great as he was. Brian was the perfect introduction to the beauty and kindness of this state. The red sauce was great, but he was the highlight of our dinner.
