    Brussels Sprouts appetizer
    Jill H.

Nice place to enjoy an apre-ski afternoon. We came two days in a row for the happy hour. Okay; it's more of a happy hour lite - just $1 off beer (drafts) and possibly wine, too. We stuck to beer so I'm not positive. No deals on food. Regardless, our drinks and appetizers stop last night was a well-earned way to end our cold day of skiing. The 5 of us turned 3 apps into dinner & were good for the night. We chose the Brussels Sprouts app, the "triple treat" fries (fried green beans, sweet potato fries & regular fries), and the 10-mike version of nachos. Nachos were of the steak variety.... a little unique in that they used potato chips (vs. tortilla chips) didn't have typical toppings like sour cream and beans (a plus in my book), and also included Gorgonzola cheese on top. They were tasty! Kids are most of them, but I allowed myself a corner!! The Brussels Sprouts were awesome, I've come to LOVE how restaurants serve these formerly maligned vegetable so I was a happy girl. The green bean fries were also delicious, although the healthy factor was diminished by that fries breaded preparation... lol. The dipping sauces (aioli, etc...) they served with our apps were a hit all around. For the hubby and I, we both found brews to please. I sipped an awesome Elevation stout. The waitress offered us a sample of a beer to taste which I always appreciate. Service was friendly, attentive and helpful. Obviously, god enough to return a second day, this time just for drinks. If you find yourself at Copper Mountain, it's worth stopping in!

We spent last week in Copper Mountain, Colorado for our now annual spring break ski trip. We stayed in the same condo building as last year and stuck to many of the same ski slopes. However one thing did change, the newly opened Ten Mile Tavern quickly became our go to spot for dinner. If you are familiar with Copper, Endo's Adrenaline Cafe is no more and Ten Mile Tavern has taken it's place. While we enjoyed Endo's a time or two, I think the new space is a tremendous upgrade. For starters there are 20 beers on tap at the newly rebuilt bar! A variety of low and high top tables are available throughout the segmented space. One spot in particular would be great in the summer as garage doors can open up to a large patio when the weather is warm. On our first visit my wife and I started with the Brussels sprouts with bacon, lemon, and Cajun spice served with a spicy aioli ($10). Dishes like these are why we have become such a big fan of Brussels sprouts. They were tenderly oven roasted and seasoned to perfection. My kids enjoyed the corn dog offering on both occasions ($9 with choice of side). The price was high for this item, but it is on mountain dining after-all. The peak one pie features house tomato sauce, bacon, pepperoni, bell peppers, Mozzarella, and goat cheeses ($14). Though the menu says these are personal size, the thicker style crust is filling and the pizza can easily be shared with the addition of an appetizer or salad. On our second visit my wife and I started with the beer battered cauliflower in 10 Barrel Pub Beer tempura batter, then tossed in house buffalo sauce and served over a bed of pickled cucumbers, celery, Arcadian greens, and Cotija cheese ($10). As much as I loved the Brussels sprouts, the cauliflower was my favorite thing we ordered on either visit. This is a must try dish! I also sampled the hogback sandwich on our second visit, which is sort of a Cuban style sandwich. It combines spiral cut ham, pulled pork, Swiss cheese, and mayo-mustard relish pressed on a ciabatta roll ($14). The relish was more of a sauce and was actually served on the side, which I used dip my sandwich in. The meat was tasty and the bread was soft of lightly toasted. A solid choice for dinner and Ten Mile Tavern is as good as it gets in Copper.

Ancient Grains Salad without feta. Added avocado and the quinoa and white bean patty.

Food here is A+, also the service, and ambience is on point…read more I appreciate the great service from Rick, our server. He recommended a real banger for a beverage in the Brewmaster's Stash, also the brewery mustard for my burger. I'd recommend this location to my friends and family. Enjoy!

I honestly don't like leaving bad reviews, but this experience was terrible…read more I ordered mac and cheese with chili and pork, and what came out looked like plain microwaveable Kraft mac and cheese. There was no chili, no pork, nothing -- just basic mac and cheese that tasted like it came straight out of a box. My friend ordered a burger that was supposed to come with lettuce, blue cheese, and the works. Instead, it arrived with just chicken and bread. That was it. No toppings at all. The water we were given was also incredibly dirty -- it literally looked grey. Service somehow managed to be both overwhelming and nonexistent. While we were eating, the waiter came back to the table every couple of seconds so we couldn't even have a conversation. But when we were actually ready for the check, suddenly there was no waiter anywhere and we fwaited about 15 minutes. On top of that, every request got mixed up. I asked for blue cheese and after about 10 minutes the waiter came back with ranch. Then I asked for lemon vinaigrette (which the meal was supposed to come with) and instead got honey mustard. After explaining again, she came back with... even more honey mustard. We also paid $10 for fries with green chili and received about 15 fries. And one more thing when paying they did NOT bring my card back for about 20 minutes. It was also extremely dark where we were sitting all of the surrounding lights were off but everywhere else in the resteraunt was perfectly fine Overall the food quality, service, and attention to orders were extremely disappointing. Definitely not an experience I'd repeat don't waste your money here.

We were immediately greeted and shown to a table. Waitstaff was wonderful and joked with us as if we were old friends. That's always the best feeling. While they stayed professional we cracked up here and there! We started off with calamari. Both the red pepper marinara and spicy aioli hit the spot. Calamari was fresh out the fryer and brought to our table so quick! I ordered a lasagna Bolognese and that also came out fast and super fresh. I could only finish half of it and that was all that was needed to make the trek home. Keeping this place on the map. By the time we left it was nearly packed! The main drag has so many good options. This is certainly one of the spots to dine!

Food: I thought it was going to be just so-so, Olive Garden level italian food. I was wrong! I first asked our waiter, Brian, for recommendations and he said they were known for their Mama G's classic red sauce. We ordered the bruschetta and I got the linguini and meatballs, which has the famous red sauce. My gf got the lasagna and the greek salad. The bruschetta was delicious. I really hate it when restaurants throw diced tomato and basil on toast and call it bruschetta, Greco's did not. The crostinis were perfectly toasted - crispy but didn't crumble everywhere and didn't cut up the inside of your mouth. The balsamic reduction over the bruschetta was delicious, but I think the tomatoes, red onion, basil and garlic were mixed with some balsamic vinegar or something similar before being added to the crostinis and glazed. Vinegar should always be used to brighten veggies, not overpower them, and Greco's nailed the vinegar-tomatoes proportion. It was fresh, crisp, flavorful, and had the perfect amount of salt to enhance the tomato flavor. My girl's greek salad was huge. I didn't taste it, but I trust her opinion, and she said it was delicious. She didn't finish it but did take it back to the airbnb and is already snacking on it again :) The lasagna was delicious as well. The noodles were thin, so it didn't feel like we were biting into a chunk of pasta toast with sauce and ricotta as the butter, which happens often with lasagnas. This lasagna had the best ricotta cheese I have ever had. I asked the waiter if they used a bechamel sauce in the lasagna because of how creamy it was, but it was just the ricotta! They do not make it in house, I asked, and I wish I knew where it was from. Gf still won't stop talking about the lasagna and called her brother to tell him about it, lol. The star of the show: The red sauce. Our waiter wasn't kidding when he said it's delicious. I genuinely got mad when I tasted it because I've always been proud of my red sauce, and no sauce has ever beaten my recipe, but now I'm determined to scratch my recipe up and recreate this one. Sauce is the most important part of a pasta dish, so a plain sauce always means a plain dish, and you have to depend on parmesan to make it better. Not this one! It was a beautiful, bright red, fresh, tangy, with the smaaaaaaaaaallest hint of spice. I'm wondering if they add a splash of balsamic reduction for the tang? Not sure, but sure as heck wish I knew. It literally tastes as vibrant and bright as it looked. If there's one thing you try at this restaurant, it has to be a dish with the red sauce. Lastly, we got a free cheesecake with a homemade strawberry sauce. I didn't know the sauce was homemade until I bit into it and I literally wanted to throw my spoon down and stand up out of pure bliss like that guy on TikTok who checks meat for tenderism. It was so good. Strawberry sauce is often overpowering, just a thick, nasty, too-sweet syrup, but this sauce tasted more like a jam. I loved it. Drinks: I got water. Gf got riesling. She really liked it! Environment: Warm. As soon as you enter, it feels like you're walking into a cozy, golden little restaurant. They do have TVs all over, so if you're into sports, good for you! The lighting was not bright but not dim, it felt....gold? That's the best way I can describe it. It wasn't too loud in the restaurant, so you didn't have to speak up and you couldn't hear other people's conversations, but it also wasn't dead quiet and we did go when there were only about 4 other tables being used. So I really don't know about how loud it is when it's packed! It was also warm in there, which is nice for a Texan like me who isn't a fan of the cold ;) Overall the environment was very warm and welcoming. Price: Fair pricing! Actually, pretty affordable for such fresh and local ingredients! Our bill was about $100 for what we ordered and the two glasses of wine. I think that's pretty fair! Staff: I didn't catch the name of the guy who took us to our table, but he was very welcoming and kind! We chatted about what we're doing here in Colorado and he let us sit at the booth table right next to the window. He said it was the best seat in the house ;) He was great! We also LOVED Brian, our waiter. He was so welcoming, kind, attentive, he knew all about the menu, he was incredible. He literally made our nights from how much of a doll he was. This was my first night up here in Colorado ever, so he was the first Colorado-ian that I spoke to! I truly hope everyone else here in this state is as great as he was. Brian was the perfect introduction to the beauty and kindness of this state. The red sauce was great, but he was the highlight of our dinner.
