I have been eating here for about 6 years! Always great food and service. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. You can't go wrong. If you ask for something and they don't have it, they will make every effort to get it to be on special if possible. Go in and see for yourself. Friendly staff. Great food. Great service!

Ambiance was great in the original classic diner but had a slight odor. We ordered a Sideliner and creamed chipped beef over toast with homefries. Food was cooked to order. Sideliner was very good according to my husband, however, my creamed chipped beef was quite dry (the gravy part)--the potatoes were good though. Service was good and friendly. Prices were on par for the area. Parking is in the back of the building.

This is how good my chili was! Food was great as always. Employees are always pleasant here and ambiance is chill and cozy. Will be back.

The old time diner has a new life with the new ownership. The place was crowded, but efficient friendly service was given. The real treat is the expertly prepared breakfasts. Will come back daily.

Loved this joint. I was visiting the town for a wedding, and went for breakfast on Sunday. You can tell a lot of people consider this their "3rd place" - comfortable, enjoyable atmosphere-- kind to newcomers. Staff had some funny banter with regulars and newcomers. My food was fantastic- exactly what you want for breakfast - pancakes were super tasty and my eggs were cooked perfect. Big fan- will be back when back in town.

I was on my way to my hotel, passing by starving and decided to give it a try. I understand it was a Sunday evening, not too busy the staff were a bit confused on what server had my table. Thankful for the young lady who took my order and care of my table. The entree that I ordered for dinner, wasn't the best in quality or taste. I ordered Captial Chicken.. the description read grilled chicken, pieces of crab meat , broccoli Swiss cheese, and hollandaise sauce, with two sides. The chicken in my opinion, wasn't grilled, extremely chewy , didn't really taste any crab and the holldaise sauce bland. My waitress I overheard say to the kitchen, something to the kitchen about adding paprika to the dish. Luckily I caught it, and declined. That wasn't even listed on the menu as added to the dish. May need a refresh on chicken preparation . This diner sadly wouldn't be my choice to return for an entree. Perhaps, maybe what diners are best for breakfast.

I've been making the 20-25 minute drive to Angie's Diner for at least 10 years because, in my…read moreopinion, they're the only place around that serves truly authentic Amish-style creamy chicken and waffles. I've happily made it a destination restaurant because I always felt the food was worth the trip. That's why this visit was so disappointing. The creamy chicken was nothing like I remembered. Instead of the rich, thick, yellow gravy I've always loved, it was thin and almost like a clear broth. The waffle arrived folded over on the plate, so even the presentation wasn't very appealing. My mashed potatoes were fine, but my second side was a single-serving lunch cup of applesauce, which honestly felt more like something packed in a school lunch than something served in a restaurant. Unfortunately, the atmosphere wasn't much better. The first booth I sat in was dirty, so I moved to another one. I genuinely felt sorry for my waitress because she was obviously overwhelmed. She was pleasant, apologized several times, and was clearly doing the best she could under the circumstances. She kept mentioning that her relief person never showed up and was running around trying to keep up with everything. The cook even came out and announced, "That's the last order I'm taking," which made the whole dining room feel tense and uncomfortable. Whether he was simply overwhelmed or not feeling well, it wasn't the kind of atmosphere you'd expect when you're trying to enjoy a meal. The bright spot was the club sandwich I ordered to go. It was made exactly as requested and was very good. What concerned me most, however, was what I observed regarding sanitation. I watched a container of individual half-and-half cups accidentally spill onto the floor. Instead of discarding them, they were picked up and placed right back into the refrigerator to be served to future customers. Later, I also watched clean drinking cups dropped onto the floor and then placed back with the clean cups instead of being rewashed. Those are the kinds of things customers notice, and they undermine confidence in a restaurant's sanitation practices. Checkout was also frustrating. Even though I was the only customer waiting to pay, it took three employees about five to seven minutes to figure out an issue at the register. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, especially for a restaurant I've supported for so many years. My hope is that management takes this as constructive feedback because Angie's has been one of my favorite destination restaurants for a decade. I'd love to recommend it with the same enthusiasm I always have, but the food quality, sanitation practices, and overall dining experience need attention. Loyal customers notice these things because we genuinely want to see a restaurant we love continue to succeed.

Not bad, not great. But what really stood out were the drink rules. Anything other than coffee is served in a small 4-ounce plastic cup, and a sign on the wall says you're entitled to exactly one refill. How strict they are about it, I don't know--service was so slow that we didn't bother testing the limits. No need to bring a credit card; this place is cash-only. It reminded me a lot of Gasoline Street Coffee Company in Pittsburgh. Service was good despite the light staffing. On our Friday evening visit, as far as I could see there was only one person handling the bar and tables, but she was friendly, attentive, and handled everything with a smile. Unfortunately, the two biggest reasons most people head to a bar/restaurant--food and drinks--fell a bit flat. The food was fine, but nothing stood out, and portions/prices felt a little high for the quality. The biggest downside was how quiet it was. A Friday night with only 2-3 other patrons made the place feel empty and a bit discouraging. No one wants slammed service from overworked staff, but the opposite isn't ideal either. If you're in the area and want a low-key spot with good vibes and don't mind basic food, it's worth a try. But if you're looking for a lively scene or standout eats, you might want to keep driving.

The parking lot is empty (not unusual for this time of day) and we're the only customers. Upon entering, the hostess/waitress seemed annoyed we came in, based on her demeanor. I had a sense to walk right out before being seated but I'm starving, so let's see what happens... Not many places charge for a basket of chips and salsa, but here they do ($3.99). I can't recall if that was the case last few times I was here. They were crispy and I did really enjoy the red salsa. I ordered two quesabirria tacos and one chicken taco since they were only available à la cart. The wife got two shrimp tacos. Mine came with a side of consommé that was mostly water and lacked flavor. I had to add salt to the tacos since they needed flavor that the consommé wasn't providing. The salsa Verde that came on the chicken was medium spicy and had a nice kick to it. It actually made me sweat, but in a good way. We ate pretty quickly because I just wasn't feeling a good vibe inside the restaurant. I asked for the check and presented my coupon. While getting checked out at the register, I asked for change for a $20 (for a cash tip) in the form of a 10 and two fives and was presented a 10 a five and five ones. I did not want the one dollar bills because I had several in my pocket already. Again, this waitress either just didn't care or I don't know wtf her problem was.
