Knowing that they are a small business we called ahead of time to schedule an appointment to view the camper we found through a third party listing. They responded almost immediately and remained very easy to get ahold of through the entire experience. They stayed a bit after hours for us to view the camper, answered all our questions, and - part of what we enjoyed the most - applied absolutely NO pressure to purchase whatsoever! Not once did we ever feel like we were being talked into a purchase. They wanted us to do what was best for our family and it was obvious! We agreed to purchase the camper on a handshake and let them know we would have to get some business in order. About the time I was wondering what the status was on the job, Ron called to give an update. A pro-active call was much appreciated! When they were able to get to the items on our list, things moved quickly. The few items they couldn't do were fully explained. Picked up the trailer and the repairs were well done. They even washed the trailer because it had been there for several weeks. That was fantastic because I could put the cover on as soon as we got it home.

My 2023 Winnebago Solis had a water leak that was staining the headliner to the left of the driver…read moreseat. RV Specialist came out twice for a total of $501 to repair the leak. On the last visit, two of the Clearance lights on the exterior were replaced (by white lights, not matching the other 3 lights that are yellow) as this is what the technician believed was causing the leak. The van is STILL leaking in the same area as the original leak. Don't waste your money on RV Specialists, I know I will never use them again.

Wow. I scheduled an appointment last week to have the oxidation buffed out of my 3 year old camper…read more I had done part of the back myself , decided my schedule was too full to go further and to go ahead and give my business to a local pro to finish the job. To start with I was told they'd be here at 7-7:30 am. A couple of younger guys showed up around 8:30. I was willing to over look that part even though no one called or apologized for the tardiness after I had to wait longer than planned to meet them before I could leave for work. So anyway , I spent a few minutes showing the guys a 2 foot by 8 foot section of the back where I had successfully buffed out the oxidation myself and wanted the rest to look this way. Fast forward to the afternoon..... After getting home , I was extremely disappointed to find that no oxidation had been removed and the problem has been made worse by the fact that they applied wax over the top of the oxidation. Now , what I have is oxidation with a shine to it??? Really?? After calling the owner, Justin, he tried to tell me that the oxidation could not be removed. What? Is there not a huge area of the back, which is the worst area facing the sun, where I already buffed out the oxidation myself? ... ( Using a cheap buffer and some oxidation remover ) Even if that were the case I would have preferred a phone call right away stating that "hey, we're having a hard time getting this off, what would you like us to do? " At which point I could have told him " thanks for your time , I'll have my wife give you a few bucks for your trouble" and I could begin a new search for someone who knows what they are doing or just continue on my own. I never heard from anyone that they were running into trouble. On top of that the , Justin , the "owner" was extremely unprofessional in his handling of the situation. Kept calling me " Dude" and telling me how he " doesn't have time for this crap " Before hanging up on me. He had also mentioned his guys called him that they were having trouble , that they couldn't get it off. At that point, they should have stopped. Someone evidently made the call to slap some wax on it , get the money and run. Now , not only am I out the $500 cash they ran off with , I have blotchy wax job AND oxidation that has to be fixed. What a waste of time and money , plus the extra work this has created.

I accepted the delay as I have had the cart serviced at the facility the last few years (I am a returning customer). After a couple phone calls this week I was informed they were only servicing carts that had been purchased at their facility and were understaffed and behind schedule. Why would they have not been proactive in making me aware of this? Poor management, unrealistic promises and in my opinion negligible communication. Never and I mean never will they ever receive a dollar of my business. Avoidance is the cautionary word of the day.

We first met Richard, the owner's son, while they were out on vacation and their boys were manning the store. Richard was super enthusiastic and an absolute pleasure to work with.. When we finally decided to make the purchase on Friday at 1 PM, they had the seats changed to the color we wanted, and the cart delivered by 5 PM the same day. I just got 30,000-mile maintenance and inspection (not a trivial service) on my 2021 Toyota Avalon…read moreLimited from the nearby Cottonwood Shores Grease Monkey. The good news is that the staff was very nice, friendly and easy to work with; there's a comfortable waiting area, and the work was completed when promised. My wife has used them for periodic oil changes with no problem, and I've used them for other work in the past, usually satisfied. The less good) news is that there was a bit of upsell pressure for optional $200+ fuel injector service (not a terrible thing; we're capitalists after all), and their overall prices were significantly higher than my alternative well-established repair shop 15 minutes away in Marble Falls. (I didn't know that at the time, and went to Grease Monkey for convenience.) The cost was still far less than what a Toyota dealer would have charged, and they upsell too! A couple of examples: The charge for changing the transmission fluid, including the fluid itself, was $512 (including tax). In Marble Falls the total would have been in the high $300s, including their most expensive fluid. Grease Monkey told me that my tires were badly worn and cupping, with a fairly fresh cut in one that exposed the steel belt. See photo they sent.) I don't recall hitting anything that would have cut a premium tire that badly, but it was an important safety inspection find. They strongly recommended (and I agree) replacing the front two for just under $440 per tire (same premium tire, installed, including tax), and recommended a road hazard guarantee for an additional 17%, which would have brought the total to about $500 per tire. (Every tire I've ever bought comes with a road hazard guarantee included, but theirs might have been a little more comprehensive.) I declined. The cost of exactly the same tire from the Marble Falls shop (installed, including tax) is just under $331 per tire (without the road hazard upsell). Interesting side note: There was a very cool unfinished 1941Chevy pickup hot rod in the storage yard, and I think I saw classic Chrysler Imperial tailfins sticking out farther down the row.
