The service was very good, but, I came there to eat breakfast. I ordered skirt steak and eggs. The eggs and hash browns were basic. The pancakes were very good. The skirt steak was terrible, it make have been from another day. I had one bite and couldn't eat any more. I told the girl up front when I was paying and she said "OH". I know when a restaurant is busy that, sometimes it's hard to clean the grill or get fresh product, but, next time have your cooks look at what they are serving and ask themselves, WOULD THEY EAT IT !!! read more

The restaurant was very clean and lively. There's a great crowd of customers in there and the staff is always super friendly. You can really tell they work together like a family. The food is just as great as their service. It's full of flavor, comes out hot, and the best part is you're always eating in less than ten minutes of placing your order. Restaurant is very clean and the staff was welcoming and friendly. Full menu and appealing specials. I ordered a pancake combo; husband ordered gyro skillet. Skillet was hot and flavorful. My pancake combo was delicious but cold. I was starving so I just ate it and still enjoyed it. Don't bother with the coffee. Its literally brown water. "Best hash browns I've ever had at a restaurant" - mom. I really enjoyed the breakfast. The potatoes with peppers, onions, cheese, and stuff were good. I like that the bell pepper smelled and tasted fresh! The cheese was plentiful. There was very little salt if any at all. Service was extremely fast - like we had our orders in approx. 7 minutes fast. I was QUITE pleased. When I tasted the french toast, I was surprised to actually taste the eggs! Either other restaurants don't dip the bread into egg to make french toast or they don't dip it into real egg. This is the first time I actually tasted the egg and it was good. Stay away from this awful dump! Food tastes of freezer burn and hot items are served cold. Server had to microwave dish to warm the potatoes on the plate and then apologized three times for the cold food. I've eaten in some horrible places and I've just added this to my stay away list! Standard family restaurant kind of food. Don't let the outside of this place steer you away. It looks much better on the inside. Everything was very good! The only thing I didn't care for was that the WiFi is only good for 1 hour...after that you have to pay .99 for each additional hour. But I'm guessing that's a TimeWarner Cable thing since they have the company's sticker on the front door. Still seems like kind of a cheap thing to do to your customers. read more

Found a hair in the salad, server didn't care and no attempt to make it right. Food was blah and tasteless. They now charge extra for refills but don't let you know till you get the bill. Used to live in Kenosha and remembered my mom and dad taking me and my kid sister to this place for breakfast on the weekends. Was in town for the first time in 18 years and stopped by. Place hasn't changed much at all and the food is still as good as I remember. Kinda reminds me of a small pancake house. Bypass Ihop and Crackerbarrel on Exit 344 ppl! Go down just a little ways on the same side of the road, better food for just the same price. This is a little Gem in Kenosha that needs to be visited! read more

We stopped in late on a Saturday night (8:30) with a group of 4. Although the restaurant closes at 9:00, the staff was very cheerful and happy to see us. Her fruit was unpeeled and browning. My American fries tasted undercooked. We said something about it and all that was said, "was it looks good to us." Breakfast consisted of 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy, biscuits were burnt on the 1/2's and of course the gravy covered the burnt part of the biscuits so I couldn't see the torched part, and the gravy was like chicken gravy that one would use on chicken fried steaks. Over medium eggs were torched on the edges and insides were super runny like over easy. Patty sausages were greasy, torched too and peppery - lacked flavor. Fire the cook.
