Jose A stacking and using all space in truck so all was secure and neat. Luis was moving so fast picking up all boxes and making a million trips non stop to truck and back. Jose Z had all rooms ready to go up stairs while all this was going on down stairs. Lee was the jack of all trades helping everyone out and breaking down all furniture that needed to be and assist everyone effortlessly. What really stood out to me was their attention to detail: before disconnecting or disassembling anything, they checked for potential issues and made sure we was informed and comfortable with the process. They maintained a clean and safe work environment throughout the day, never leaving tools or packing materials lying around. I appreciated how organized and efficient they were--they worked seamlessly as a team for the entire 9 hours, and someone was always at the truck managing and organizing it meticulously. The level of professionalism and teamwork displayed was impressive, and I truly felt that my move was in the best hands. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable, respectful, and top-notch movers!

    On The Move

For the second time, my wife and I utilized the wonderful services of On The Move, moving company…read moreand had excellent results. I shopped around for various moving company quotes which ranged in under $1000 to over $4000. Primarily, I looked at 3 things to help in selecting a moving company: 1) Reviews 2) Price and 3) Location. As we were moving houses in-state (from Cumming to Duluth), it was important to find one that was not very far away. My wife and I made several smaller trips to the new house with boxes to help save on the costs. Pro Tip: - If you're able, consider moving smaller boxes by yourself piece by piece. This saves overall time on the day of move and their final quote. - I disassembled as much furniture as I could before they arrived. (bed frames, mirrors in boxes etc.)As such, the movers told me how grateful they were and also helped to lower the final costs a bit. Setting up the move: - Simple process of going to their website and submitting items needing moved. Since we had mostly the heavy bulky furniture, it made quoting process simple. - Once I narrowed down OTM, I made contact Lauren W. via phone who was very friendly and responsive. I informed her that I had an upright piano that I requested to be moved and she made sure to put in the work notes that the movers would need a piano dolly. - I paid a $150 deposit to "lock in" the date. Communication: - OTM movers were very responsive with keeping me updated with times of arrival and any questions answered. - They sent emails a few days before the move and the day before. They also called about an hour before they arrived to do a final confirmation. Day of Move: - On the day of the move, the crew (Joseph, Jayson, and Archie) showed up on time with their big box truck. - They greeted me then did a walk through to ensure they understood all the items needing moved. Once they understood, they went to work and started in. You could tell they were pros in how they communicated to each other with how they lifted and moved items. - From start to finish at the "old house" took about 2-3 hours. - I informed them that the piano had gotten damaged by other movers in the past and I did not want it to happen again. They made sure that it was handled with care, and it was. - After everything was moved to the truck and tied down, they did a final walk through with me to ensure they had not missed anything. - As it was getting close to lunch, Joseph communicated that they would be taking about an hour break and would meet me at the new house. - They arrived at the new house on time, then I told them where the furniture would need to go. They again started transporting the furniture. - 2 guys typically unloaded while the third assembled. - After everything was unloaded from the truck, I did a final walkthrough with Jayson to ensure everything was where it needed to be, no damage was present and if I needed them to readjust or remove anything. Costs: - While the quote was estimated between 850-950, the actual cost was 1331.69, which I felt was fair. - I paid with check and they lowered the overall cost a bit to wave processing fees if using a CC. Pros: - Joseph (crew chief), Jayson, and Karchie did a great job. They were friendly, enthusiastic, hard working, and communicated well. - They moved 2 heavy refrigerators at the "new house" when asked. - They appreciated that I had taken time to disassemble furniture beforehand and didn't have many boxes they had to pack or load. Cons: Minor complaints: these can be corrected by their crews being more aware of surroundings at customers houses. - They left used and empty tape rolls, soda bottles and trash in the rooms instead of cleaning them up. - After they had left for lunch, I did a walk-through at the "old house" and discovered one of them had forgotten to take their drill they used to assemble some furniture. They were glad when I gave it to them and seemed embarrassed that it had happened. Final thoughts: - OTM is a great company to have you help with your move. I felt the prices were fair and the workers they employed were great. - While we didn't run into serious issues (furniture damaged, personnel problems etc.) I'm confident that OTM upper leadership would not hesitate to make sure the problem was corrected and alleviated. - Another happy customer for OTM!

Instead, what I ended up with was furniture wrapped in tape instead of plastic wrap, only after drawers opened and belongings scattered. Several items ended up broken including my sourdough jars because they didn't bother securing the cabinet they were in and instead of taking care with the broken pieces, they just haphazardly tossed things back in. My nightstand now has things that fell behind the drawers that I cannot get to because of how it was transported and the drawers don't come out. My very expensive, solid wood dresser has a huge gouge in the back. The metal legs of my son's computer desk were broken. I am horribly disappointed and will not use this company again in the future, nor will I recommend them again. The "basic" protection plan makes it not even worth filing a claim for.

The two men did a great job handling our items and making sure that they got to their destinations. They were very professional, patient, and helpful. We paid about $600 for the service & we were very pleased with the price because movers are usually more than that. The items were placed in their correct areas and everything came in their condition it was before the move (so far, that I've seen). The movers were very friendly and had great communication. My husband did help with some items because he's particular about things but he didn't mind. I'd also like to note for everyone to remember that movers are still people and not machines. They deserve respect and care as well. I asked them if they wanted food (primarily my husband) and he offered to them as well and they took a break (off the clock) and then they were done shortly after that. I'd definitely suggest this company for moving. I love family companies so I'll always work to support.

In my opinion, this company is dishonest and unprofessional, which made my moving experience profoundly frustrating. Tony presented himself as a hardworking family man, accompanied by his young sons, which made me believe that I was supporting a respectable, small family business. However, the trust I placed in him was misplaced. Despite moving just three blocks, from 8th and Juniper to 5th and Juniper, the experience was a nightmare. The team Tony brought was inexperienced and careless, which resulted in the breakage and damage of belongings worth thousands of dollars. It was not just the monetary loss, but also the sentimental value of these items that added to the distress. Moreover, the team was inefficient and took significantly longer than promised, showing a lack of motivation and professionalism. This inefficiency was frustrating and resulted in additional stress and inconvenience. Adding to the dishonesty, Tony claimed to own two trucks, including one large enough for my entire apartment. However, he showed up with a rented U-Haul truck, which was completely unprepared for the task at hand. In conclusion, I regret choosing CCE Express for my move, and I urge anyone considering this company to rethink their choice. In my opinion, CCE Express, under Tony's management, lacks integrity, professionalism, and basic competence. Tony promised to fix/replace all of the broken/damaged items. The move was August 31st. It is now November 14th and not a single item has been fixed or replaced. For anyone who wishes to discuss this further or seek more information about my experience, please feel free to reach out to me personally. I also added just a FEW of the photos of damage to this review.

I was told that I had 81 boxes listed and that should be enough, but on the day of the move I was told that all my items would not fit in the trucks. So instead of taking the initiative of calling their office to see what could be done to provide another truck or follow up the next day, nothing was done and I had to scramble with the help of my family and neighbors to complete what they should have done. This was a stressful move for me and made even more so by the lack of initiative and listening to the client to provide additional help. My apartment told me to use Two Men and a Truck. I was told that the truck would be at my house from 9-10 am. And that I would get a call from 8-9 am. I did not get a call until 10:10 am. The truck got to my house at 10:45. 45 minutes late. The men also smelled like pot. They seem to rush everything, which I appreciate the speed, but when they just drop boxes on the floor as they did, it felt like they had no care for the status of my things. At one point, they are carrying my desk down the stairs. I watch as multiple parts are dragged and bent in areas that should not bend. We all heard multiple cracks. They continue and load it on the truck with no wrap of any kind. When we got to the new place, they unloaded everything and scratched the walls in some areas. Again, very frustrating. They decided to unload my desk last, which was weird because it should have been at the back of the truck. I watched as they moved the desk to the corner and had it lean on the wall to make it look like it's standing. After they said it was done, I walked to my desk and pressed it with one finger, and it almost fell apart. I said it's not put together. So they pretended to try and fix it for 10 minutes. I pressed on it again, showing them all the parts that are broken. They respond, " Well, you did get the insurance". I paid 143 dollars extra for it. They left, so I duct-taped all over the desk to keep it stable. But when I called, they told me they needed photos of the damage, so I had to remove the tape. While removing the tape, the whole desk fell apart into pieces. Literally unfixable. I took pictures and attempted to file a claim. The website kept bugging and took 3 tries to file a claim. I then got an email from a rep, and they started this email with I won't get paid as much as I expect. I am still waiting for their offer. But after losing a desk that's worth around 300 dollars and paying 143 dollars, I worry I'll be losing a significant amount of money. My advice is to not go with this company.
