I was delighted to be traveling again and staying at a Hilton. The welcome was great and I requested housekeeping because that is only available by request any more. Really? At a Hilton? Alas, when I returned at the end of the day, the room was unmade, bags with towels and toiletries had been dumped in front of the TV. The photos demonstrate what making up a room means at the Hilton Bellevue for a Diamond VIP guest. When I called the front desk, I got a sequence of increasingly more ridiculous excuses. There's a lot going for this hotel, like the large rooms, good housekeeping, and friendly staff. I stayed in one of the HHonors rooms on the 7th floor for five nights while attending a training course nearby. I checked in late on Sunday, and it was quick and painless. I was told I'd be comped high speed internet, they gave me good directions for parking, navigating to my room and the exercise room. Housekeeping did a great job every day. Zero complaints there. I ordered room service for breakfast one day, and it was excellent. It arrived on time, was prepared well, tasted great, etc. Despite the rooms being spacious they are still quite acoustically transparent. There is a lot of noise from the hallway, other rooms and outside the hotel intruding into your hotel room environment. Lighting like many hotels is insufficient for the room. When I checked out I was not comped high speed internet by the desk, so that was disapointing. read more

Wow! What a difference a change in ownership can make!!! Several years ago I booked a room for a few nights here and was very sadly disappointed! NOW...I can happily recommend it. No, it is not the Westin or a Kimpton but it is absolutely a step above a pretty terrific Best Western! Keep in mind, I loved this place when it was the "new cat" in town under the Red Lion umbrella but it plummeted in the early days of 2000. It became shoddy at best, and, worse yet, in my opinion, unsafe. The other night when I booked a room for a dear friend, I was incredibly pleased with what I saw! Here are a few of the happy surprises: The guest services were delightfully helpful and happy to do so! The security personel were just as terrific! The room was clean and well maintained. The rates were more than fair in terms of price. Especially in this environment where finding dependable help can be more than challenging, I was very impressed! And, let's be honest, the glass elevator is still pretty cool!!! read more

The General Manager of this hotel, Tom Hope (425) 450-4177, should be ashamed for his disregard of sanitary issues throughout the hotel. You'd expect a GM of this type of hotel would be apologetic and make his customers feel heard. I guess the safety polices they state online, CleanStay (Hilton) and SafeStay (AHLA-USA) don't matter. They've been reported to the health department. The whole building needs major renovations and repairs. Never again will I stay at a Hilton hotel after this experience. Disgusting! read more

I'll give 5 stars to the check in clerk because she did such a great job dealing with some crazy people in line ahead of us. The bartender at the bar and restaurant went above and beyond working on her own. It was clear they were understaffed. There was a plumbing leak on the weekend that we went, but the hotel got it fixed within a couple hours. I really have to hand it to the staff, they had a lot to deal with that weekend and they kept a good attitude. The rooms in the hotel are nice, comfortable, and up to Hilton standards. The property itself is probably more three stars. The parking lot is a little worn out which makes you worry a little when you drive up. The previously mentioned bartender really knew her business and how to make good drinks. Given the understaffing during Covid recovery in August 2021, there were some room service trays left in the hallway a bit too long. They should make it a priority to get more people on staff. The place is busy, they hosted a wedding the weekend we were there. The location is perfect, just a stones throw from downtown Bellevue. read more

A good hotel but not worth the price. You could get a good hotel with more benefits at similar price. They do not include the breakfast with the room price. They do not keep microwave, slippers, coffee machine and water in the room. These are things included in your room price but you still have to ask for it separately. Ordering anything takes ages to come. It's better to pick up things at the reception. Their breakfast buffet is really good though. Many options and the quality is great. On the weekends, parking here is free and there are lots of spaces. The lobby is on the third floor which is unusual. If you want to be in the center of Bellevue, this is a little out of the way. It's an easy drive but quite a long walk from the hotel to Bellevue Square. The rooms are clean and functional. I feel like it could use a refurbishment although the rooms still have a few years left in them. The lobby area is quite spacious and the gift shop is handy as well as being well stocked. The restaurant in the lobby is very open plan and not somewhere I would choose to eat. Overall, you will not be disappointed in this Hilton. Prices in Bellevue for hotels are very high so don't expect to stay here for less than $200 per night. read more

He is incredible and gives us authentic yummy food and my favorite at the Hilton restaurant is the flatbread pepperoni Pizza and Basmati Rice. The best HOTEL EVER!!! To start... this is never a place I'd choose to stay on my own (even if I could personally afford it for more one night lol) but I had quite a nice time staying here with, and thanks to, my dad! We stayed on the Executive Floor so my experience is really limited to that. You need a room key to use the elevator to get up there which would usually annoy me, but it actually came in handy because you'd use it and it would automatically know the floor and take you there. The room was nice, beds were comfy, but the bathroom sucked. I'm used to that with hotels though so it's not out of the ordinary at all to have less than ideal lighting and small "counter" space. They were very nice and lenient about my brother and his girlfriend coming a night earlier before their reservation and had no issues with them staying on the pull out couch for a night so that was appreciated. Big fan of their bar/restaurant downstairs too. Great drinks and really tasty appetizers (especially the tacos) with friendly bartenders. Sadly I don't think there's a shuttle to/from the airport (at least I couldn't find it when I flew in to SeaTac, but absolutely could have just missed it since I didn't really research it beforehand) but there was a driver we could call when we were out walking around Bellevue and didn't feel like walking back. Which was super awesome, but I don't know how far they'd go. Even with a little bit of traffic, a Lyft ride wasn't too long to get to Seattle. On our floor they always had free bottle of waters, fountain soda, coffee, tea to make, and other snacks. Their breakfast was decent, nothing magnificent, but I really like that they always had fruit. I still strongly prefer cheaper motels and a lot of times I felt pretty out of place here, but for a couple nights it was fine and sort of an experience. If you like nicer places, I can't find anything wrong with this hotel and would highly recommend! read more

We have stayed here multiple times. From previous stays I would give a 4 Star. The hotel is nice, the staff from the front to the housekeeping are all kind. Last night we had the worst room service ever, $60 for inedible "Mediterranean" chicken, soup and a side salad. Our order arrived in only ten minutes, not even enough time to cook chicken. The chicken had a terrible odor, it was painfully dry and over coated in spices. It has been sitting out for quite sometime. We threw it back in the hall to pick up, with out being able to eat it. The room itself is very dirty. The feather down has skids on it, the room and bathroom both smell like human urine. The room is very dirty by sight and smell, it's disgusting. This Hilton has a nice lobby and customer services is great! They were very helpful including their restaurant staff. Their breakfast buffet which I highly recommend is only $15 and comes with a specially made omelette of your choice. Their fresh fruits here were also delicious. Breakfast is served until 10am daily. My room was nice and comfy as you would expect from a Hilton Honors. This Bellevue location has a nice balcony with a nice view that you can use. There was a pool here which looked big, but it was all covered up due to weather. I didn't see a valet staff at their main entrance, but I was told they are located at the 1st floor towards the parking area. PS - their check-in lobby is on the 3rd Floor, not the 1st. It was confusing at first, but once you arrive you won't make the same mistake. Also, make sure to let your UBER know to drop you off at the main entrance, not at the parking area. In case that happens, tell your UBER driver to press for a ticket which is free entrance for 15 minutes. FYI! Until then, be kind to one another and Cheers! ~ :p read more

I stayed here for a weekend trip. The pluses were the hotel itself. The room was very comfortable and clean, and I also loved the hotel restaurant, which served delicious food at very reasonable prices. However, I'm deducting two stars for the lack of notice regarding the loss of advertised amenities due to the pandemic, most importantly the advertised free Downtown Bellevue shuttle; I ended up having to take a 20 minute uphill walk to the Bellevue Transit Center with my luggage due to the lack of transportation (and rideshare services are ultra-inflated in price right now). Great hotel, but there needs to be better communication about issues such as the lack of a shuttle and reduced restaurant hours. read more

The Hilton Bellevue is a nice hotel as expected from Hilton properties. The room was comfortable and clean and they gym was decently equipped. I tried visiting the lobby bar/restaurant but after sitting at the bar for nearly 10 minutes with no attention I decided to skip it instead. The hotel is a short ride away from restaurants and shops but there isn't much within a short walk so ride sharing i s your best bet if you don't have a car. read more

I had a conference and we stayed here. Grateful for the opportunity and the fact that I didn't have to pay for my accommodations. But geez, this place needs a face lift. I felt like I was transported back into the 90's. I got lucky and was able to stay on the Hilton Honors floor. My room was nice, but in the bathroom were areas that could use some attention. Also, the elevators are really slow. You most likely will get to the floor you need quicker by taking the stairs. It's a nice hotel, but just very basic and dated. If you want lavishness, then this is not the place. The restaurant and bar are nice, but do not order the pad thai. The noodles were overcooked, bland, and the flavors were off. I most likely wouldn't stay here by choice. It wasn't awful, but not all that great either. read more

We arrived after a family girls night out downtown to check in (around 4am) and was chastised for not letting the staff know we were checking in late. I could understand that being an issue if it was stated anywhere that that was recommended or required but it wasn't and it isn't required. If there is a preference to do something like that I have no issue and I would be happy to oblige. But I didn't know that is was preferred because it didn't say that anywhere. I'm fact, the app is booked through (booking.com) asked if I wanted to give a check in time and stated that is was optional. The woman giving me a hard time asked me if I'd ever even stayed in a hotel before in an extremely condescending and judgmental way. I said yes, many times, and I've never been treated like this or been told that I have to notify about late check in. It may be known by many that it is best to notify about late check in but I never knew that which I tried to tell this woman but she continued to berate me. I heard her and the front desk man talking about having to rebook our room which seemed like it meant that they'd cancelled our booking. They said that they were doing an audit or something but no one notified us that that was going to be happening and that it would mean that our room would be cancelled. Anyways, extremely confusing, rude, condescending treatment from the man and the short woman at the front desk. Terrible terrible customer service. I used to work in hospitality and did for many years and I would NEVER treat customers the way they treated me. I look young and had obviously been out so maybe she thought she could teach me a lesson, I don't know, but regardless, that's not how you treat your customers. I don't understand why she wanted to fight me so bad. I'm still so confused. It brought me anxiety having to go back down to check out because I didn't want to be treated like that again. Where to begin....I stayed here for an event and when I saw it from the outside I wasn't sure to expect. It was nice, clean, and the beds were very comfy. The lighting in the bathroom isn't great for doing makeup, but that was not a huge problem. The food in the restaurant is yummy and the service was excellent. The pool is an 8ft pool which is is refreshing since most pools are 4ft. The events held here that I attended all weekend were well staffed, the rooms were clean and the food was good and nicely presented. Stayed as part of a group convention 1/12-1/14/24 at the Bellevue Hilton in WA: 1. guest rooms lacked working thermostats: we could not change ours from 74*. Others were stuck at 80*+ or had no working heater so the hotel provided space heaters. 2. guest rooms (incl. ours) lacked hot water 3. beds were uncomfortable and worn (it was more comfortable to sleep on the room's couch) 4. fridges is some guest rooms were broken 5. hotel was badly understaffed, and therefore the existing staff overworked and surly. 6. many reported the restaurant losing their food orders. Our room service order at 8:15pm Friday: wait est. 20min, we called after an hour to discover they sent it to the wrong room, when it arrived 30min after that the order was wrong (the waiter asked "can't you just eat this anyways?" -- no, it was allergy trigger that would result in hospitalization), then poorly-made replacement arrived 20min after that. We ate at ~10:15pm. When matter brought up to the front desk at checkout, they reversed all food charges. 7. Lobbies & lobby-level meeting rooms were below 60* 8. the ADA automatic doors of the 3rd floor lobby were marked "please use revolving doors" 9. at arrival 10am Friday, all 4 elevators worked, by 8pm Friday only 2 worked. For several hours on Saturday only 1 worked 10. hotel showed signs of once being a grand place, but has clearly not been well-maintained This stay managed to rank 2nd worst ever. Hilton Bellevue is conveniently located near the I-405 & I-90 freeways. Close enough to downtown Seattle. Drive is about 15 to get into Seattle. Located close to lots of upscale retail shopping and restaurants. Hotel is clean and quite comfortable. Rooms are spacious. My room had a comfortable king bed and a nice seating area with a sofa. There was also a large desk area. Staff was great! Professional and nice! Since Seattle is known for rainy weather, the hotel lends out umbrellas to their guests. My family came here for our annual holiday retreat, I was a bit concerned about this particular Hilton because I believe it had been another chain at one time and of course this is an older hotel. Wow, we were blown away by the top notch service. Everyone working at this hotel went out of their way to make us feel appreciated and welcomed. We decided to eat at the Solarium and the food was amazingly well prepared, fine quality meats, breads and cheeses. Let me just say, the prices are fair and the food quality amazing! No need to leave the hotel. Rooms are clean, yes like I mentioned earlier, it's an older hotel but very well ran and clean. We stayed on the executive level and we'll do it again! From the outside, it seems a little worn and dirty. But that initial impression goes out the dirty window when you walk inside. The lobby is well-lit, spacious, clean and welcoming. The rooms are much the same, with every room having big sliding glass doors (sound proof to boot) and balconies. I HAVE to rave about the breakfast for a moment. Not only can you get Starbucks drinks, the crew that does the made-to-order omelets are the best! They can compete with any breakfast place around, and the customer service is outstanding. The location is also great, it's not too far from anything and there is ample parking. I'd bump it up to five stars if the outside got a good wash. read more

The room was sticky. The sink and hand towel was wet (after opening the seal to our 'clean' room). The waiters at the restaurant were slow. I had a complimentary pass for breakfast due to a mix up. I had to leave for a meeting, because the service was Slow. and the waiter said it was ok I had the pass. The next thing I knew, I was charged $39 for breakfast. I'm calling the hotel. I will update this after the response. For now the place gets a 2. Update. My wife called and talked to a guy, Tom Hope, probably the manager. He kept giving excuses like we did something wrong. Said we gave the voucher to the waiter. It's not our fault someone charged money to our room and basically stole from us (and the hotel). They also offer a digital check-in and the manager actual texts the guests to make sure all pre-arrival requests are fulfilled which is a definite plus! Hilton! Just a car or plane ride away from anywhere I go. Being on the road for business can be and is exhausting after a period of time. Staying at hotels that are clean, comfortable, have great service, a decent gym and extra amenities as a diamond member I have found are critical to my relaxation. This was my first stay at Hilton Bellevue having typical stayed in DT Seattle when I come to the PNW for work. Easily located off of the 405 and within driving distance of some good restaurants, attractions and of course the airport. The service was top notch, rooms clean and executive lounge perfect for early evening snacks and breakfast. Parking was surprisingly free since I thought it was actually $20 a night. I already have the hotel booked again for my next trip to the Seattle area in August. Looking forward to enjoying my stay and thank you for the great service!! read more
