We had just a one night stay at this hotel as we were visiting the Grand Canyon and this is on our way home. The room was clean and spacious, we reserved a king room with a lounge chair. They have other options with a couch and a pullout bed, but we really didn't need that much room. The bed was comfortable and they were extra blanket and pillows in the closet. I feel the bedding at a Hilton Garden Inn is upgraded versus a Hampton. All toiletries were provided, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. There is a Keurig coffee maker in the room as well as a refrigerator and microwave, which is really nice to have. I did not see a Safe in the room. There is an ironing board And iron though. They do provide a $10 per person credit for food and beverage if you are gold or diamond, but it doesn't actually cover the cost of breakfast as the buffet is $14.95 a person. They did have some à la carte options and I have posted a picture of that as well. They do have a decent selection of snacks and such that you are allowed to spend that credit on as well, which is what we ended up doing. They have a small indoor pool as well as a fitness center, but we did not have time to check those out. It is very conveniently located- a dinner recommendation would be that there is an Angie's lobster 1 mile away and they make a phenomenal lobster roll for $9.99 or a crab roll for $7.99. Very tasty! There is also a Starbucks a half mile away for your morning coffee. The total for our stay with taxes was about $150, parking is free which we appreciate it since so many hotels are charging for parking. Front desk staff were super friendly, there is coffee set out in the morning as well as they had flavored waters And little treats. They also had a comfortable looking seating area outside. There are three electric car charging stations as well in the parking lot. There's quite a few restaurants within walking distance, there's a Denny's across the street and a red lobster or Olive Garden are pretty close too read more

A welcome surprise! First time visiting Flag, and weren't sure what to expect from HGI, but it delivered a wonderful experience. The cons: Bed was a little hard, pillows were mostly flat, sounds travel a lot, water pressure ok. The PROS: fair price for a well kept, well maintained room and overall hotel. Very pleased with quality of appointments and furnishings, and the provided convenience for coffee (love the keurig and provided k-cups!), the bathroom (lotion, soaps, shampoos, conditioners, makeup removal cloths, shower caps, shoe shine, etc etc etc), and the overall ambiance of the hotel. Room size is ample, parking lot is great, conveniently located to most stuff in Flag, NAU, Grand Canyon, Sedona, Monument Valley, etc. Each morning I would refill my water bottle with delicious lemon-cucumber water and say hello to the staff. Each of which were incredibly helpful and friendly and a real pleasure to interact with. Pool right off of main lobby, but so is a gas-fired fireplace and a sweet little bar and lounge area. 10/10 would recommend, and would seriously consider staying again on future trips. All in all, a reflection of management and a commitment to customer service. Thank you for a great visit! Elevator was broken when we got here. Paid for the breakfast buffet and it was bad. I've had better free breakfast buffets. The eggs were hard, little hard scrambled balls. The waffle batter was too runny, so making waffle didn't work - it would run out the sides. The bacon was microwave bacon that had been reheated over and over again. The sausage links were pale and looked like human fingers. The French toast was alright, didn't have very much flavor. The fruit was good, melon and bananas. Oatmeal was premade and very slimy. The muffins are the kind that are frozen and then thaw out so they are all mushy on the outside. They have some cereal and it's the off brand. You have to ask for coffee and juice, it's not self serve. I tried the danish and it crumbled. We skipped breakfast for 5 of our 7 days. At $30 a day go two people, that sucked... The bed is very hard. I woke up sore most days. There is no fan in the bathroom, the rooms are very small. You can hear every noise in the bathroom. From every fart to every tear of the toilet paper. I chose the Hilton in hopes that it would provide a more upscale experience. This was no better than staying by at a Quality Inn. The staff were all very nice and it seemed clean, overall. I wouldn't stay here again, even for a night, solely because of how hard the bed is. I felt like my bones were bruised. For reference, am a 40ish year old person without health problems. read more

I asked for a late checkout, hoping for noon, and the front desk agent asked if 1:00 is okay. The room was clean, well appointed, and had all of the necessary amenities I had hoped for. Flagstaff has lots of hotels and motels to choose from, and I have stayed at a lot of them over the past five years. Worst Hilton Experience -- Stay Across the Street Instead As a loyal Hilton Diamond member, I've stayed at properties across the country -- and this was by far the most disappointing. There was no drive-up area to unload luggage and no ramp, meaning we had to haul our bags up a curb just to get inside. Once in, we encountered one of the slowest elevators I've ever experienced -- it consistently took 7-8 minutes despite being a three-story building and no one else using it. The elevator was also extremely small; my wife and I could barely fit with our luggage. To make matters worse, the front desk staff were rude and dismissive. There was no sense of hospitality or appreciation for loyal guests. I strongly recommend staying across the street at the Hampton Inn (stayed there and it is a solid location and service and amenities.... It had no vacancy though lol) This location does not reflect the standard I've come to expect from Hilton. read more

The Hilton Garden Inn Flagstaff was our final hotel stay on a recent cross-country road trip. It was a comfortable, one-night stay that was definitely timely as the last two hotels we had stopped in on our trip left a lot to be desired. This Hilton Garden Inn was clean (inside and out), had friendly staff, and the rooms were exactly as one would expect in terms of Hilton standards. Though our stop was quick, it was what we needed after a long travel day. We booked a two bed hotel room. As noted, the room was extremely clean very spacious for two adults with a modest amount of luggage. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of electrical outlets to charge up our devices, and the overall layout and features of the room worked out for us perfectly. The location of this Hilton Garden Inn cannot be beat. There is plenty of "life" surrounding the hotel, though it wasn't crazy or noisy to any degree. Many eateries and shops within a reasonable radius. There is even a restaurant attached to the hotel if you don't want to travel far to eat. The hotel has an indoor pool that can be easily accessed through the lobby, as well as a business center, and gym. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and felt the price fully justified the amenities and quality of the room we were in. If traveling to Flagstaff again, we would definitely rebook and stay at the Hilton Garden Inn without any hesitation. read more

Suited rooms with a logical layout ideal for work and play in different rooms. The kitchen with the full-sized refrigerator let's us optimize eating healthy while on the road! There was also a fold out sofa bed in the living room and remote controlled electronic devices through my Hilton app. Fireplaces and conversation areas throughout the common area and 24/7 Coffee and tea service afforded lots of chatting and enjoyable moments to connect. The pool and jacuzzi was a hit with the kids! It is on the first floor (2nd floor is main floor because the hotel is built into the side of a hill). This Hilton location is doing everything right. There is no lack of employees to accommodate your needs. They have all been pleasant and friendly. The room has been well thought out and laid out. My husband has his computer set up in the work area to manage his work clients. There is a little table by a nice comfy chair that I have been using for my makeup mirror and putting on makeup. One night we ate in and had plenty of space to eat at a table. There are plenty of lights and ways to charge your phones or computer. Everything is exceptionally clean and tidy. We stayed here for one night in early January. We arrived about 5pm after checking-in on the Hilton app and receiving our digital key. We were able to find a parking spot and headed straight to our room. The room was a nice size and outfitted nicely. The room itself seemed like it was older but had some areas refreshed such as the bed and counter areas and shower. Overall it was clean and comfortable and we slept well. Our only real complaints were the curbing in the parking lot area did not allow for the luggage carts to access in several places and therefore you were forced to walk to the side. Not a huge thing but when you are hauling multiple loads of luggage it would be nice to be more accessible. The other is there is no ice machine on the first floor but the woman at the front desk was nice enough to guide us to one used in the kitchen area and filled our small cooler. We stayed here over NYE 2023 with our two kids, and contrary to previous write ups, we had a fairly pleasant stay. We arrived a little early so our room was not ready but they were able to hold our luggage while we went to the Snow Park. Upon arrival a little after 3PM, there was a bit of a wait/line to check in but there were 2 hotel clerks who were working as diligently as they could. I also took advantage of the app check in process so I was able to select my room ahead of time which I think helped expedite. We also opted for the included breakfast buffet. The location of the hotel is quite convenient to the freeway, gas/convenience stores, dining, Walmart, and Downtown areas. I chose this hotel fairly last minute because they had decent reviews on TripAdvisor and Yelp. Also they did not have a minimum 2 night requirement especially for a holiday weekend. The room was clean and had ample space for the 4 of us. Housekeeping and refreshment services were nice. I appreciate that there was a cozy and comfy lounge area that we could hang out at to wait. I definitely recommend this place if you're a family needing no frills and comfort. Also to note, our room was on the first floor and it wasn't too bad of a location with noise, etc. read more

Great experience overall! Check in was quick and easy. The staff were very personable. Every inch of our room was exceptionally clean and had all the amenities one needs. Quiet and peaceful. Parking was easy and close to the hotel entrance. The Hilton Honors app was helpful. Always an amazing stay. I have stayed at this location 3 times now and it has never been anything less than exceptional service. The area is safe with lots of convenient dining options. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Upon arrival I mentioned we had a terrible experience at a different Hilton the day before (fyi never stay at the garden inn Oklahoma City airport). The rooms were pretty standard, with an old one cup coffee maker that had probably seen better days in the Truman administration. There is a microwave and minifridge in the room, however. Bfast is not included, and although one can get a 'credit' for $10, everything is more expensive than that. Staff was accommodating, and there is no charge for parking. Overall it's reasonably convenient, the price point reflects what is available within what's inclusive, and it's close to many things on Milton. read more

Garden Inn is definitely one of the better hotels in flagstaff. We had a reservation in Sedona and got stuck in flagstaff because of the recent snowstorm and Garden Inn was the 5th hotel I tried booking because everywhere else were sold out. Being a Hilton honors member, I checked the website and found this available room. With the luck the new year brought me, I booked the LAST ROOM! Minutes after booking, I called the hotel to confirm that it went through after experiencing the room being grabbed by another desperate guest previously. With the grace of the almighty it went through and when checking in the front desk staff was so nice. I wish I got the other girls name but Ben was very patient and calm and very helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean, spacious with a great view. We will def book her again. read more

We stayed here twice in 8 days en route to southern Arizona. Both times the rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The walls are a tad thin, pray your neighbors aren't loud talkers. The front desk staff is super helpful and friendly. During one of our visits, one guy was manning the desk, solo, despite being super busy answering stupid tourist questions, he kept his cool and his humor. There's plenty of parking and a Coco's right next door. We'll probably stay here again next time we drive through. read more

This morning we noticed the duvet cover had blood on it, we doubled check my son to make sure he didn't have any minor cuts, after checking I went downstairs to let front desk agent know and she just apologized but didn't ask if we needed it changed. Now, what really got me was, as I was waiting for the elevator housekeeping was also waiting and I overheard 2 ladies talk so much shit and cussing out a hotel guest in Spanish, they obviously assumed I didn't speak Spanish but they were complaining about changing a lady's sheets because she had crumbs on it. Victoria was kind and professional, even though the customer was not. After the other customer left, Victoria greeted us with a broad smile and welcomed us. She quickly found our reservation, and engaged us in conversation. She was very friendly and we enjoyed talking with her. The room was clean and comfortable. Besides two queen beds, it had a desk chair, high backed sitting chair, plenty of surfaces to place all of our stuff, a walk-in shower, plenty of towels and pillows. If you want indoor pool, this hotel has it, jacuzzi too. I enjoyed relaxing at their jacuzzi after hiking at the Grand Canyon earlier that day. Breakfast buffet is much more than the next door Hampton Inn. Free breakfast for diamond and gold member but if you have to pay, it was around $10. Service at breakfast was very nice. We had a late breakfast and since they weren't too busy, they let us just hang out there for a while. Front desk staff was friendly too. They sell bottles wine and they have a wine opener available. My only complaint is their bed. It was too hard and woke up with backache. Other than that, pretty comfortable stay here. read more

Booked online directly through the Hilton website. We did not get in until 12am, so mobile check in and digital key was clutch! The hotel and rooms were clean and had everything we needed. They had lots of flyers out for local activities to do, so as a tourist it was nice to see our options outside of using our phones. No free breakfast, but that's okay we knew that going into the reservation. Only downsides were that there were only 3 pillows per bed and my reservation had 4 guests and the top layer blanket was very rough in texture so it was a tad uncomfortable. The night front desk staff was not helpful when recommending spots to dine! The night staff also rang our phone while eating to tell us our dog was disturbing our guests, and "several complaints were made!" The entire second floor smelled of marijuana, and other dogs were barking on the floor. Why were we singled out? As far as I know the hotel is smoke free. We broke no rules, the only guests however needed to be reprimanded! The redeemable factors were the beds, friendly hotel maids, lest not to mention the perfect temperature pool and hot spa! The breakfast buffet sounded appealing but only ran from 700-1000. I would stay at another pet-friendly hotel, given a second chance to stay overnight in flagstaff! The night staff at the hotel was unnecessarily rude. Hilton is a pet-friendly hotel, and Dogs bark! Get over it! read more
