Somebody cute posing for a picture in the Starbucks in the lobby of the Hilton Hotel.

Stayed here for one night after flying into MIA on a Friday evening and before leaving on a Saturday late morning for a Cruise out of the Port of Miami. This hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport (MIA) and about 30 minutes from the cruise ports. It's about $40 Lyft ride each segment. Sure there are closer hotels to the airport and port but what I was looking for staying here was a hotel with large rooms, quiet safer area, near shopping and restaurants and a place for breakfast in the lobby that had a decent review rating. The Dadeland Mall is 2 miles away and we had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory the night before the cruise which worked out well and there was also a Publix supermarket across from the mall to load up on things we needed for the cruise that we forgot and even get some water and yogurt and fruit for the morning. Perfect location for before a Cruise--I would definitely stay in this location again before a Cruise. And if you get sick in Miami--you are next door to a major medical complex and emergency room--Perfect! The hotel is older, the rooms are somewhat worn, but not that bad. Bathrooms have been modernized. Rooms are large by today's standards, clean, quiet. There was a key full service Starbucks in the lobby that was perfect for a quick brunch before getting in the Lyft to the Port. I ordered extra towels to the room and they came within 15 minutes. I used the Hilton App to access the elevator and room door without having to check in. There are large conference facilities here too. The pickup and drop-off areas at the entrance are covered. They have a pool and spa I did not have time to use. There is also a large lake outside that my friend says has Alligators if you like to play with them. Here is the reason I only gave them 4-stars and may not stay here again: The shower. After my 15 minute shower the bathroom floor had almost an inch of water in the section near the sink and it took me 5+ towel ring outs and a lot of work to clean it up. The shower door has gaps and when someone takes a shower it soaks the bathroom floor. Addressing this with the staff they can't replicate it because when they tell maintenance or housekeeping to check on a guest complaint that the shower floods the bathroom floor all they do is run the shower and everything is fine. It's only when you actually put a body into the shower for 15 minutes and the water runs off a body onto the walls and glass doors does the water flow in a way that it escapes the gaps. So the problem never gets solved because neither housekeeping or the maintenance man is going to take a full shower to see what happens. Just a note--which is prevalent at most hotels: The water and other things in their shop are super expensive--think ball park prices like $8.00 for a bottle of water. $5.00 for a candy bar. Buy somewhere else if possible.

Gotta say that while I didn't stay overnight at the Hilton Miami Dadeland, this review is mostly on their meeting and convention facilities. I recently had the opportunity to attend a very special event here with my two daughters and their husbands: the annual Memorial Service organized by the Jehovah's Witnesses, held on a Saturday night. This year's event drew over 400 attendees, and I must say, the hotel handled it exceptionally well. First, a bit about the hotel itself it's fairly new as it was built in 2020 and has become a modern, peaceful fixture in the Kendall area. Its location is a major plus: just a five minute drive to Dadeland Mall and the bustling downtown Kendall district, and within walking distance of Baptist Hospital, numerous medical offices, and a variety of restaurants. It's an ideal spot whether you're visiting for business, medical reasons, or leisure. As for the event, the Hilton's facilities were clean, spacious, and well-suited for a gathering of this size. There was even room to comfortably accommodate a much larger group, which speaks to the versatility of their meeting spaces. Free parking was plentiful a rare and very welcome perk in Miami and onsite security added a nice sense of comfort. The hotel staff was courteous, professional, and discreet, making sure everything ran smoothly. The ambiance throughout the hotel is modern and tasteful, with stylish decor that adds a touch of elegance without feeling stuffy. After the Memorial, I noticed that several attendees chose to stay and dine at the on-site restaurant, which is a testament to the welcoming atmosphere and quality of service. Overall, I found the evening to be meaningful, well-organized, and supported by a facility that enhanced the experience rather than detracted from it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Hilton Miami Dadeland for similar large-scale events or for anyone looking for a comfortable and well located place to stay in the Kendall area.

Back in May, my family and I stayed at the Hilton Miami Dadeland on our way back from a cruise. The hotel room is very comfortable, the beds were like clouds. We certainly used them as we were exhausted and slept most of our stay. We did take time to enjoy the pool and hot tub. The pool area is very nice. The staff were very friendly. It was a great stay!

Pros: Amazing water pressure in the shower! Super nice staff. I was checked in by Alejandro and he was very pleasant to chat with. The room was very clean. There is a Starbucks on the first floor with mobile ordering so you can place an order from your room and run down and grab it. Very convenient. Neutral/FYI The bed was very firm. Cons: The pillows are those fancy feather pillows that go flat after like 5 seconds of use. Would be nice and they mixed up the pillows and gave you some of foam/stuffing pillows as well. Coffee maker smelled of mildew. The hotel may want to consider adding an occasional vinegar rinse to their cleaning protocol to avoid the mildew that these pod type of coffee makers are prone to. Overall it was a good experience and I would stay here again.

This is an absolute gem of a hotel in south Dade. I had some business meetings nearby so I opted to stay here. The hotel is relatively new and the amenities are plentiful. There is a gym and spa area for the fitness oriented. Diamond level Hilton honors members have access to an executive lounge that is nice but lacking a bit. Rooms were clean and the water pressure in the shower was very strong and water temperature was hot! Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was as expected for Hilton. Well kept and clean. We had double queens and it was adequate for myself, my husband and 16yr old, a bit tight, but adequate. We had breakfast at the hotel and that was just okay. Nothing special to write home about. I also used the fitness facility which was well kept. I was happy that they had free weights as an option. Also used the pool. We went in the early morning at 8am (so I could practice my Aqua Zumba) and it was very comfortable, not too cold. Also, there was a beautiful park with a lake across the street. Very nice to have an option to go for a walk. Customer service was good. I would definitely stay here again.

We usually stayed at Marriott flag properties in Dadeland and this time went with Hilton by the Baptist Hospital; What an Awesome experience; I am Lifetime Platinum Elite at Marriott but was treated much better (and upgraded) at Hilton (being only a Gold Honors). Better rooms, better beds, much nicer ambiance. We will be back to this Hilton.

This is an excellent hotel with exceptional staff and wonderful amenities. The hotel is massive with a restaurant and Starbucks inside! Rooms are huge as well if they give you an upgrade. We got a king suite which had 2 different rooms with huge TVs and a dining table and couches. I wanted to get one of their fitness rooms with has a gym inside the room, but unfortunately they didn't have that available. Will definitely try to get it next time. The fitness center is pretty robust in the basic equipment needed. The outdoor pool is beautifully kept, and your rooms have great views of this space! The executive lounge for Gold and Diamond members is awesome. Huge and clean with rooms to work and a coffee machine, drinks, and snacks. The grab and go area near the front desk is fully stocked with foods and amenities. Unsure if Gold members get it, but Diamond members definitely get a $18/day per guest up to 2 people credit which can be used at any of the restaurants or stores here. Why only 4 stars? For the following reasons: The restaurant messed up orders a few times and they charge automatic gratuity which is not covered in the Diamond member credit. I asked for a burger medium well. If you look at the photos, it was basically raw and I'm lucky that I didn't get sick from it! The staff need to properly cook burgers to ensure no illnesses occur due to the food! The other food is great. Their veggie burger is fresh and soft and actually delicious. Their wings are crispy and sauce. Their flatbread pizzas are solid, cheesy, and filling.

What a great property!!! They have everything you need from fitness and wellness center to jacuzzi, the staff is really really friendly and the food is incredibly yummy. The Starbucks is also very convenient, it was my first stop inside. The hotel hosts events and meetings, and we stayed a Sunday night which held a very lively company party. The pool areas space is ample, with the jacuzzi sitting towards the back. We had a night swim and it was so relaxing with the quiet sounds of the surroundings. Dinner was at the bar, Table 55, where I had the short rib pappardelle pasta (10/10, creamy consistency and the pasta practically falls apart) and my partner had the BBQ wings Miami style which were also really good but that pasta!! We also tried their Space Dust draft beer and it was veryy bitter, something my partner loved, so if that's your thing I would recommend that too. Their snack area is open 24 hours, where you can simply scan your items and pay, or take to the front desk to charge to the room. Things to note: everyone else in the reviews are right, the shower pressure is definitely there. I felt like it was a little too strong at first and then quickly started loving it. Bathroom door was also a sliding one, we didn't have a lock. (Didn't need one, but just in case that was something others need). Great experience, will be back!!!!

I have stayed here several times, and I like the proximity of this Hilton location to my family and Dadeland Mall. It's very clean, and the rooms are well-kept. I also like it's next to a small lake with a path to walk and exercise if you get bored of the gym they offer. The staff is amiable. The bar area is cool, and the food is alright at their Table 55 restaurant. My burger was good though, and my friend said her pappardelle with mushrooms was very tasty. The charcuterie board was very mediocre; I would not purchase again.

In town for business. I only stayed 1 night and knew I had to come back! The hotel is conveniently located in Dadeland, the Dadeland Mall is minutes down the street. The room was clean, comfortable and I fell in love with the view. Dinner at the hotel has options if you're not interested in venturing out. I was happy to learn a Starbucks was located inside the hotel. Update: I recently stayed at the Hilton Dadeland for work. I purposely stayed in this hotel because I loved the view and convenience of being near multiple dining options. I did not stay in the same room, bummer but still impressed with the room size, bathroom and overall cleanliness of the room. Highly recommend if you want to stay somewhere CLEAN, nice & quiet.

Exercise equipment next to my bed
    Christie S.

Since I've traveled for business for 20 years, it's really hard to impress me. But this hotel did. The workout equipment beside my bed was absolutely amazing. Out the window went all of my excuses for not exercising. The shower was hot and the water came out strong. The service was very nice. I wasn't incredibly impressed with breakfast. For the money I would come here every time.

So two of these rose glasses of wine is 32$ with a 5.85 charge on top of that!
    Debbi B.

What lunacy ,,,,Unbelievable , I asked the young boy behind the bar are you old enough to pour drinks? He actually said, I don't know. Then they charge 20$ a glass for house rose ???and you complain and they hang up on you..the downstairs guy did call me back and agreed the bartender should have said the name of the wine and how much it would be, that he was leaving a note for the manager. 40$ plus tax for 2 glasses of house rose is exorbitant. The guest next to me had same thing and her wine was 9$ a glass she showed me her receipt on the elevator. If this happened to me I'm sure they are scamming others here. Hilton used to be a great place

If you miss breakfast, they had breakfast bags with fruit and other grab and go items. You will need your room key to access the laundry room and guest floors. There is no carpet in the room I was in (basic king- not the elite level) and pets are not allowed. Service animals only. The hotel has a lobby bar, three restaurants are located right next door (Sproutz, Batch Gastropub, and Shahs of Kabob). I dined at Sproutz and Shahas of Kabob and both are good, but they are not affiliated with the hotel. I stayed 3 nights prior to my cruise and I really enjoyed my stay. The air conditioner worked with no issues, pillows are very soft, bed was firm, but not uncomfortable and I slept better in that bed, than my own. There is a master light switch to control the overhead light in the entry and bathroom. You can operate them separately (it just takes some flipping of lights to figure it out). Decent water pressure and nice, hot water at night. Morning time I suggest getting your shower in early. Hot water is still present but not as hot as it was the night before. Tip- I took my shower at 5/6am the morning of checkout and the water was hot and perfect for a nice shower before leaving for cruise. Staff was always smiling, friendly and willing to assist. Carlos at the concerige desk is very helpful, ask for his recommendations and he is more than happy to assist. The 7th floor has the laundry facility, but many machines were out of order. This is going on my pre cruise hotel list because it was the perfect hotel and the perfect location. It was about a 15min ride to the cruise port and airport. My gf and I stopped through here on our way out before boarding our flights later in the afternoon. If you're toting your luggage and not a hotel guest, you will have to find another hotel to store your luggage while enjoying this most decadent brunch experience. Luckily we arrived early enough to our reservations to sort that out. Reservations are a must if you don't want to wait. The restaurant is gorgeous with various spaces designed differently but keeps to the exotic Asian theme. Dining in the atrium near the water feature in the middle with stage for the musicians is where we had our experience. Olga was our server. She brought us our special beverages not available at the bar: Bloody Mary's and endless bubbly in our glasses The offerings here are more than I can name, but there is something to satisfy every craving. The favorite for me is the caviar bar. It comes with all the proper fixings on a blini with Crème fraîche. Do you need a vodka shot to go with? Yes, that's also available also at the caviar station. Fresh raw oysters, clams or shrimp cocktail is available in abundance with everything else here. The ceviche was great. I passed on all the various noodles but had to have some lamb curry and basmati rice- delicious! I had some Peking Duck and leg of lamb at the meat station. The filet mignon and lamb chops was ordered and brought to the table. The leg of lamb and filet were slightly dry but still good. The lamb chops with chimichurri sauce was amazing- nuances of vibrant flavors. Assorted fresh fruits were a colorful collection of enticements. I saw some papaya and enjoyed its fresh, sweet juiciness. I am not a dessert person but had to try the key like pie. Then of course, the matcha dessert is a sitting temptation next to the pie. So, my dessert spoils were more than intended. What the hell right? Lol That was the sweet ending to my Setai brunch. There was so much more such as bread, fried stuff, eggs, bagel station, toast etc. One can only eat so much. I stuck to enjoying my favorites. The experience is pricey but so worth it. It is truly the best brunch experience I've ever had. - better than Vegas and a cruise ship!! I always have to experience a Setai brunch whenever in Miami!

You must walk through the lobby and across the outside area. The sauna and the one person steam shower is located here. You Check-in then you get changed into the robe and walk across the lobby check-in area to the elevators. You are walking through the area with all the guests and their luggage in your super large robe that doesn't close very well. I did not enjoy this. Some disappointing things which was not their fault is the parking garage construction noise even on Sundays. The noise took away from my spa experience. They did nothing for the noise control. Also, the SPA requests you must arrive 30 minutes before your treatment time. I got my parking validated BUT we stayed for brunch who also validated our parking but we went over the 4 hours so we got no discount for parking and we were charged the full $35 fee plus tip for the valet. The valet staff was quite nasty telling me we were there too long for the discount BUT each one of those alone qualified for a discounted valet. You can not do both in the 4 hour window.

The staff were absolutely amazing. I called front desk for one item and they sent someone immediately to assist me. Their overall service exceeded my expectations! I'm also an AMEX platinum member and valued the room upgrade and hotel credits I received. I enjoyed all of the amenities from reserving a massage (highly recommend this), to ordering room service for breakfast (which was really good), to enjoying their outdoor pool area (which had a beautiful view and cabanas). I look forward to experiencing other Four Seasons locations in the near future!

It's very unfriendly and unaccommodating and illogical at these prices. Aside from that, pool is gorgeous, lobby bar fantastic with great lounge music at night and Nuna very good. It's a beautiful hotel if life finds you in the Brickell area. But for those traveling with your pets, go elsewhere. The Betsy is a very pet friendly hotel, for one. Ordered the salmon from the pet menu. It's more like a human serving, which is fine, with salmon, rice, asparagus, lettuce greens and some sort of sauce, like aoli. $20 was a fair price for it.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night prior to a cruise. We used credit-card points to pay for the room. The employee at the front desk spoke nicely with us and allowed us to check into our room early. Our room had a balcony, king-sized bed, television, desk and chair, sofa, closets, large walk-in shower, wi-fi, and views of the bay. The room was comfortable and clean, but we could sometimes hear our neighbor's loud music. I did notice that the floor boards had gaps and that some wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. Building amenities included a business center, meeting rooms, swimming pool, fitness center, a restaurant, etcetera. This hotel has a restaurant called Caña, and we ate one meal there. I will review it separately under its Yelp listing, but it was decent.

Ultimately, this review is mostly moot as the hotel is planned to be demolished in May (I wish I…read morehad known this prior to booking) and that explains a lot about the property. First, the good, it's an awesome location on the southern tip of Brickell Key. The pool was wonderful and gets mostly continuous sun exposure during the day. My balcony faced west so I had sun during the afternoon as well (perfect for a tan). Honestly, I never felt like I needed to leave the resort being a pool guy. The base price room was spacious and mostly clean with a separate shower and tub. The bad- the service wasn't great here. I felt like anytime I needed something I had to ask 3-4 times before staff would remember (including freebies that were part of the room rate). The one time I asked a concierge for assistance he was super brash telling me to go talk to the front desk. The property felt old and in need of a renovation (again it's being demolished so not surprising in that context). Also, a lot of the ads for the resort promote its beach which no longer exists- it's now a model home for the condos going in. The hotel is pricey and gratuity is auto-included at 20% for everything which would be fine if the service was better and they didn't ask for additional tip on top of it. I wish I stayed here 20+ years ago because it felt like in its hay day this was a swanky hotel. Today, it's tired, on its last months, and the staff really don't seem like 5-star talent (as a benefit to the doubt most people would be unmotivated if things were shutting down too). Part of me is excited to try the new hotel whenever it opens, part of me wonders if the poor service is just part of the brand. The gym was tacky- literally they just through equipment in 6ish guest rooms with the doors propped open. Kind of funny but not 5-star hotel caliber.

The evenings were great as we were able to sit out on the balcony and relax, while at the same time being in the lobby or hitting the restaurant was always great. We took advantage of the on-site yoga classes and the beach every day while we were there. The beach area was nice, in the servers supporting the beach I felt did their best to accommodate all of the guests outside. If you're a frequent AMEX user, I would definitely recommend going through your AMEX as it really did just make a difference. The grounds were well kept the pool was clean. The staff was friendly and most importantly, we had an overall great experience. I would definitely recommend it for anybody coming to South Beach to come here, as it's centrally located and it's easily accessible to lots of other activities you may want to consider.

Our attendant was attentive but not hovering, kept the drinks coming, and food came out fast. Everything we ordered was solid -- perfect pool-day food and refreshing cocktails. There is a minimum spend requirement for the cabana, but it was super easy to hit between food and drinks. And considering you're paying for a dedicated space, service, and a prime poolside setup, it felt worth it. Overall, it was the perfect day to unwind and feel a little luxe. I'd definitely book the Ivy cabana again.

The Brickell area is a vibe, walkable and full of restaurants and shops, which makes it a perfect pre- or post-cruise stay. The hotel's proximity to the cruise port was a huge plus. Check-in is self-service, but assistance is available if needed, which made the process easy and convenient. The king bed does take up most of the room, stretching from the window to the wall, so the room feels a bit compact--but it's thoughtfully designed. The sink is located in the main room across from the bathroom, and I actually found the setup pretty functional. The shelves around the sink were stocked with a washcloth, hand towel, hair dryer, and tissues, plus hand soap and lotion at the end of the counter. There was also enough counter space for toiletries. There's an open closet area and a nice touch of wall art, and the laminated wood flooring gave the room a clean, modern feel. One of my favorite features was the in-room iPad that controls everything--such a fun tech-forward touch. I also absolutely loved the decor throughout the hotel. The colors are vibrant, playful, and stylish without feeling overdone. The second-floor seating areas were spacious and inviting, and the rooftop/pool space was another highlight. There's also a bar on the second floor with outdoor seating, which is a great spot to relax and people-watch. Overall, this hotel has a fun atmosphere, smart use of technology, and an unbeatable location. I'd definitely stay here again, especially for a quick stay before a cruise.

If you're planning just a short visit or don't mind compact accommodations, it works, but it's definitely something to keep in mind. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the stay smoother despite the limited room size. Overall, I'd say M Citizen is a great choice for its location and vibe, but pack light and don't expect spacious quarters.
