Over the next three weeks, they continued to string me along by saying that they were developing an estimate for the repairs. The estimate started at $3800, which I agreed to, but then a different person I spoke with said that they had "forgotten" to add a repair to the estimate, and that the real estimate was almost $8000. While it seemed outrageous that the price would essentially double over one thing they "forgot", I was desperate and they came highly reviewed, so I agreed and asked when I could bring my car in. Without any hesitation and without consulting anyone, the person I spoke with said that the almost $8000 estimate wasn't the ACTUAL estimate, and that they wanted to "look at the numbers again". To be honest, it felt like they were just jacking the price up to see how much I'd pay. I was nothing but pleasant and respectful over the phone, and they had given me my car back after the oil change, so this was not a situation where they were finding new things wrong -- they didn't have my car. This place does not seem honest or reliable at all. They didn't even attempt to fix the problems with my car when I brought it in. They gave multiple escalating quotes and didn't stick to any of them. They didn't call when they said they would, or at all.

He said I thought I knew what it was and goes to tell me the computer says it's running rich and he wants another 300.00 to do a smog test to find out the issue. Now he already charged me around 1200.00 for the prior work that he guessed at doesn't other a refund for putting parts I didn't need in my car and know wants to charge me more and it's just to see the issues with it. So I got upset this is 2 months now dealing with the back and forth then when I wanted a refund he told me if I'm not going to pay more money to fix it then he's charging me 35.00 a day for storage fees. I'm in the middle of getting lawyers involved. He pretends to care about you until he gets paid and then he just tries to get as much money as he can out of you. I wasn't sure if it was sixth of the one right next to it was six because I can't see that far and the guy who's working with him who was also the other man yelling at the woman looks at me and goes yeah well it's your responsibility to know and I was like wow guy it's not that deep and he goes well. It is that deep if you're gonna give my guy attitude, I said your guy just yelled at me and you both just yelled at the woman who is ahead of me so I'm supposed to feel comfortable walking in here as a female as an absolutely fucking not.
