Our family went there for dinner on a Sunday night and it was delicious. A top favorite was the tasty Chicken Choilla - we ordered it medium spicy and it had a very nice burn, but not too hot. My kids liked the Chicken Mo-Mo, although they were not my favorite. The Lamb Korma and Shrimp Vindaloo were also delicious. The rice had a nice texture and buttery flavor, and the portions were great. We also ordered the bread basket which had a selection of Naan, and all four of us left feeling very full and happy, with some leftovers for my lunchbox tomorrow! The service was more on a leisurely pace, but after the two appetizers the dinner food all arrived at the same time, and was hot and fresh tasting. This place is incredible.... and free delivery all the way to the p.hil/martinez border Everything we got was just amazing, the portions were larger than most places and they send you all the chutneys if you order samosas (which are ridiculously good). We have ordered delivery 4 or 5 times since and every time it has been consistent and quality. We went there for lunch buffet. We were 3 people. We were served 3/4 of a naan to start with!! Really?! Three-fourth of a naan for 3 people?! We asked for more naan and it was served after about 15 minutes! Guess what... This time we were served only 1/2 a naan!!! I love this place. It's nice, it's small. It's pretty quiet as well! The food is also really, really good. I love the Chicken Momo, it just gives you a wonderful burst of flavor when you bite down into it! The curries are great, and the Naan is delicious. My family and I usually go to Naan n Curry for the Biryani, but we've kind of given up on Naan N' Curry after our last visit, the wait was just too long, and there were just too many bones in the chicken biryani. My co-worker mentioned Himalayan Cuisine and said that they serve similar dishes to Naan N' Curry. I DID NOT KNOW THIS because the restaurant is kind of hidden. No worries, it's not that far from two different public parking locations. Trust me, their food is worth a few steps more from Naan N' Curry. Their Chicken Biryani is clean...what do I mean by that? Boneless! Another important thing is when you ask for mild, they WILL make it mild...Naan N' Curry only offers one level of heat..."too da**spicy" (even if you ask for Mild). You can't even taste it, too da** hot. I'm pretty sure if you ask Himalayan Cuisine to make it super spicy for the immortals, that won't be problem. The staff is very, very friendly! I actually came back twice in one week. What does that tell you?! Great food, Great Staff, Lots of room, and a kitchen, away from the dining area. By the way, they have a lunch buffet for $9 something dollars---can't wait to try that one of these days. Loved the place. Gulap Jamun for dessert was excellent too. Gulap Jamun is a donut hole soaked in delicious sweet goodness...Please try. Must try. I suggested to the staff that they make their place more visible on Willow Pass rd. Maybe a sign or something. Great food. We went at 11:30 for the buffet. Can't beat the price. The buffet had a great variety of foods. I do wish some of the dishes were a bit spicier, but honestly I understand they cater to everyone and not everyone likes spicy. Everything on the buffet table was fresh, made in small batches, and delicious! Nothing had been sitting forever. The spinach actually tasted like spinach, the fish was perfectly seasoned and juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside. The butter chicken was super yummy. Exactly what we were craving. They always have fan favorites (their butter chicken sauce is the best I've ever had), but half the buffet is different every time. I've tried so many things that I love that I had never seen before. Their finger foods are inventive and delicious. Their vegetarian dishes are as flavorful as their meat entrees. They have a light, fluffy Indian fry bread that rivals naan. (Try stuffing it with your favorite food for a handheld pocket!) Great choices for the main entrees on the lunch buffet and they sometimes have Khichari / Khichadi (spelling ?) on the buffet. Wonderful food! We stopped in after reading the great reviews on Yelp and we're not disappointed. We ordered the veggie Mo-mo appetizer and they were delightfully stuffed veggie little morsels with a delicious sauce. The Mango Lassi was among the best I've ever had, a delightful rich dark mangoey orange color. Highly recommended. We also had the potato parantha and the mixed naan, my hands down favorite was the garlic naan. We also tried the matar paneer, and I must say it was absolutely delectably on-point. Literally the best I've ever had, and I happen to indulge upon Indian/Nepalese cuisine quite often. We also got an eggplant dish, which I can't recall the name of, but the eggplant was perfectly cooked tender. The service was good as well, with staff being both courteous and accommodating. Afterward my date remarked at how satisfying our totally vegetarian meal was, as he loves his meat but I am vegetarian. One thing I love most about Indian/Nepalese foods are the rich sauces that really amplify the flavors and make dining such a pleasure. Very suspicious 5 star reviews. Given the high rating, the food should be really good. Let's start. Ordered online and even though showing up after 30 mins, had to wait another 20+ minutes. Seemed like they haven't started cooking the food yet. The restaurant was pretty much empty at dinner time which made it suspicious that they had good indian food. If they didn't, there would be a crowd in this area consistently. Ordered the tandoori chicken and chicken tikka masala. The tandoori was dry and tasteless. Date night with the Mr...Indian food is my favorite and he likes to let me pick the restaurant so off we went. They're fairly new so no liquor license yet but the application in the window and our server told us it's happening very soon. Only one server working tonight so the service was a bit slow but he was welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. Samosas were delicious. They have goat on their menu and I love unusual proteins so the goat curry was a must. It was the Mr's first goat experience and he loved it. Then there was the lamb korma. I am obsessed with lamb korma and this was so good I was tempted to lick my plate. 5 stars for the food. 5 stars for the server, not his fault they understaffed tonight and he made up for it with his hospitality and personality. This is a review for the lunch buffet. The first time we went there we were just walking in as they were placing the dishes on the buffet. We sat down ordered a couple beers and went to the buffet just upon site the food looked delicious and was it ever by far the best tasting "indian" dishes I has ever tasted. After my first plate we made the decision to bring my daughters here during spring break. Needless to say my daughters felt the same way about the food. My oldest added she could eat there all week. It's a blessing that none of us work in downtown concord. Too bad they aren't opened on the weekend. All in all great service and great food!! read more
