I absolutely LOVE that this place delivers!! Sometimes when I'm craving some chicken tikka masala, I don't want to change out of my pajamas to get it, haha. No, but really, their food is super tasty. Food was really good, I was pleasantly surprised! Owner was friendly and came out multiple times to check on us! One of the best restaurant in Concord. Clean, good customer service and the food there is awesome. I went there two times with my wife and everytime new variety of food. We ordered Gobi Manchurian and dal makhani. We asked for medium spicy food but Gobi manchurian was just horribly hot and spicy. This food is not edible at all, I don't mean to be mean with this review but this food was literally bad for health. We eventually had to throw Gobi. Dal makhani 2/10 for the taste but it DOESN'T even taste like dal makhani, it was again "spicy" tadka dal. Ambience 2/10 due to weird smell we decided to take away Price 2/10 Overpriced. Just ordered via Eat24. The area near the restaurant is under construction and there is little to no parking here and once I got home, I realized they forgot my two orders of naan with the rest of my food. I probably should have checked the bag before I left, but shouldn't have to do that. I have eaten Indian food at a lot of different restaurants in the Bay Area and the food was decent but the samosas were under-seasoned and the butter chicken was just ok. I prefer Saroor or Sargam (both in Walnut Creek) or House of Curries in Berkeley. I probably won't come back to Himalayan Cuisine. read more

I'm quite satisfied with the quality of food here. I've ordered take out from here a few times now. Orders are always packed well and made exactly as ordered. I'm a big fan of the goat curry and lamb biryanni, mildly spiced and with bone! Big portions and they don't ruin the dish by adding nuts and raisins. Vegi dishes like dhal makhani, egg plant, and okra bhindi have all been very good also. Phone orders are usually ready within 30 minutes with a sofa/lounge area if you do have to wait around. read more

Delicious food served in an unpretentious environment with the sweetest staff. We ordered way too much food, but now get to enjoy tasty leftovers for days. Try the chicken momos, bhindi masala (okra), and other masala dishes - they won't disappoint! Bonus points for being able to tailor our dishes to the level of spice (heat) that we wanted. I ordered delivery, and they thought I was picking up for takeout even though I called twice to confirm delivery. But they still get four stars because the fish pakora rocked my world, butter chicken was so umami and the naan I could eat every day. I tried the pickles, incredibly sour, inedible for me, but it was only a buck so no harm no foul. Oh, and I tried the mango ice cream.....not bad, but it had some kind of peppercorn that was incredibly overpowering and I will just try the mango lasso instead next time. I've been here several times now for the $9.99 lunch buffet. At first I was skeptical at the fact that a place this cheap had such high ratings now i see why. The staff is attentive and friendly the food is flavorful and fresh. Their butter chicken is the best! Naan is given to you HOT fresh out the oven. The staff is great tended to our every need and was very kind and patient (we have a toddler). Our Server even took the time to play with our toddler while we ate. We've been coming here to eat for a few years. We love it! Good Tikka Masala, nice and thick curry. Tandori is also good. We get it delivered and put the Naan in the toaster oven to crisp it up again because it gets soggy in transit. You get so much that you can have two full meals! read more

I just moved to Concord from the City and was amazed by how good this food is!!!! The sweet naan is unlike anything I've had before. The sauces are rich in flavor and will not disappoint. We had steamed chicken dumplings to start and they were great. I went safe and tried the chicken korma. It was one of the better chicken dishes I have ever eaten. Very spicy fall off bone tender.
