The inside was beautiful and the technician did a wonderful job. The reason I don't recommend is because I felt incredibly rushed on what should be a very relaxing experience. I will admit we were 5 minutes late and as we were pulling in I could see one of the ladies coming outside to see if we had arrived yet. Once we did, we were ushered in quickly and they rushed us on picking the package we wanted and the color. I couldn't get comfortable because the tech kept adjusting my chair so I didn't get the relaxing chair massage I always look forward too. We walked in without an appointment, received a warm greeting and only had to wait about 5 mins to be seen. Pedi with the hot wax and massage was exactly what we needed to de-stress. The salon is clean, very well kept up and the massage chairs were amazing. A complimentary glass of Champagne was given to us as well. Helen and Angel were great. I just moved to Rocklin in June and I've tried a few places, and this is by far my favorite. I had a great nail salon before I moved so I had high expectations. They are busy so you do need to book ahead. I wish I could get in more randomly only because sometimes I just want a good pedi on the fly but I can't fault them for that. I have been going to this salon for about a year and a half, and the last three pedicures I received were not good. The polish chipped after a few days, my toe nails were uneven (I asked that they be slightly rounded and they were not), and they did not trim my cuticles enough (very rough). In addition, the massage was not that great. I won't be going back again. I will go back to giving myself a pedicure. Many salons just don't seem to care anymore. I guess medicore is the new normal. This was my go to spot anytime I would get my nails done for a special occasion. I went in on Wednesday 12/11 and not even 3 days went by and 2 of my nails fell off and by day 5 three of my nails were gone. They have great customer service and are super nice and gave me the design I was looking for. The people were nice but my gel manicure chipped in multiple places within 12 hours, and all my fingernail polishes except one pinkie finger popped off within a week. That has never happened to me at other salons. I took my mother-in-law and hers popped off as well. I was disappointed because I wanted nice nails for my vacation and they were ruined before I got off the plane. Also, the lady doing my pedicure stopped in the middle of it for about 10 minutes to answer the phone and talk, and that time was not made up. I would not go here again. read more

There were a few walk-ins as we were getting our pedicures and they were able to get them in quickly. They didn't even rush through the other appointments to get to them. Wow! What a lovely experience. I do not live in the area and while getting my oil changed at the nearby jiffy lube I decided to look for a nail salons within walking distance. This salon is not only just around the corner from the jiffy lube but it was honestly the best service I have ever had at a nail salon (and I get my nails done regularly). I called as soon as they opened at 9am and the woman was able to squeeze me in and get me out on time to pick up my car (I'm just one hour!). I got a fill and the shape and thickness is literally perfect. They offered me a variety of beverages when I arrived, from bottled water to a mimosa and they had a sweet little snack bar with granola bars and such. I am so glad I found this place if I ever come back to the area I will make a point of going and trying one of their many spa pedicures as well. If you are looking for a nail salon on this area you need to go to this place. So happy with my manicure. read more

been getting my nails done every 3 weeks for the last 5 years and I can easily say this is the worst location I have ever been too. I had an appointment scheduled 24 hours in advanced for a FILL that ended up taking 3 HOURS and the nails came out bulb-y The first nail technician working on my nails didn't seem like he knew what he was doing at all and filed my nails for an hour until then they switched me to another nail tech who was too focused gossiping with her coworker than providing a timely service. She worked on me for another 2 whole hours but she was even worse in attitude. Even at the end, I was the last person there and they had to facetime the manager to figure out how to charge me. The entire time they were laughing in my face?? I left the appointment extremely frustrated with sore forearms and painful nail beds. I had to take pain medicine that night and the next day to get through my work shift. I will never go here again and I would recommended you go somewhere else as well. 0/5 read more

So clean and the staff treat you like one of their girlfriends the moment you walk in...I was offered a beverage (they have several to choose from) and a snack...the homemade cookies looked amazing! The service was so personalized and conscientious as well. I was a little unsure of the color I chose, so while Anne was removing my polish, the owner brought several options over that were in the realm of what I was looking for...I ended up with a gorgeous color that I love! Though not at all convenient to my home, I will gladly drive the extra distance to see the ladies at Himalayas and have Anne take care of my nails. I've been to many technicians who scrape the gel or dip polish off, taking a good portion of my nail with it. Anne takes her time and my nails have never looked better! I posted on Google and got the owner response below. The nails were filled poorly, especially my thumbs. They also leftover some nail polish on one of my nails. Since they drilled my nail down to apply the gel polish it weakened my nail and it broke two days after. I don't do any physical hard work with my hands so I was surprised it broke, especially after having my nails bare a week long before. After talking to the owner, it seems there's nothing she can do. They only offer a 1 week guarantee of fixing chipped nails not broken or poorly done nails. In my original review I stated I wouldn't be coming back and that's still the same I won't be coming back. read more
