Chicken Tofu Teriyaki
Brett M.

This place has the best/most consistent teriyaki that I've had in the Eastside and Seattle area. I always get the sauce on the side, as it's a little sweet. But I frequent it at least three times a week. There are typically only two people that take the orders at the register and they are both the nicest and sweetest people you'll meet. There seems to be a large following for their sushiI and I've tried it but I am still preferential to the teriyaki. The portions are always very generous. Highly recommend.

Himitsu is our new go to for teriyaki. We ordered white chicken teriyaki, a bento box, and shrimp fried rice. The food was very flavorful, plentiful portions, and frankly the best I've had on the east side by far. The owners are super friendly and take care of you while you're there. Five stars don't seem enough. It's a must-visit for anyone craving teriyaki.

This is my bento box Dine in containers, I ate in my meal in 20 minutes , sadly will go straight to the landfill for several years.

It's sad to have them still serve everything in old school styrofoam containers, even when you dine in. I understand they may try to save money in a dishwasher but it's ridiculous the amount of garbage this place produces. This is not recyclable/compostable. Doesn't the city regulates this?

Veggies minus Tofu... yummm!

I like it. The chicken is a bit low quality but is still very good. The avocado roll is also very good. In my opinion, this is a good place.

Decent teriyaki. A little on the dry side. Contrary to other reviews, the service is good. They will even run your order out to your car.

Menya Muso is the US brand name for Menya Musashi (as it is known in other part of the world). Ordered through a self-service touch screen monitor near the entrance. The ramen was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it appeared. The tonkotsu plus dashi based broth was flavorful, deep and satisfying. Noodles were thick (but less thick than Jiro type), wavy with perfect texture and excellent elasticity. Preferred Hybrid ramen to Tantanmen. Tantanmen had a sweet nutty flavor from its white sesame paste broth which I find one-dimensional after a while. The spicy pork nikumiso in the dish was a good distraction and the dish does carry a lot of heat (was sweating a lot). Pork belly (not included with tantanmen but came standard with Hybrid) was well-portioned, beautifully charred and tender. Chicken karaage was acceptable but not exceptional.

They have several flavors that seem to build off the original broth such as basil (green), spicy (red), black garlic, and curry. Plus, this place doesn't stop at ramen. They have quite a deep menu that includes bento boxes, donburi, tsukemen and onigiri. I ordered the original and the green vegan ramen and the original vegan broth was one of the most flavorful vegan broths I've had to date. Good job. The green one was also really good. I'd never had this style before and was really happy with it. I will definitely be back to try the curry and black garlic option. The ramen is quite expensive, but that is to be expected considering that food prices are through the roof. I love the fast kiosk ordering experience as well.

My friends and I stopped by Danji Korean Cuisine for dinner and I was honestly blown away by the…read morequality of the food here. As visitors from the Bay Area where there are a bunch of Korean restaurants, I can confidently say the food here is far better than your average Bay Area Korean restaurant. Between the four of us, we ordered a 12 half-and-half piece wing set, a seafood pancake, a tofu soup, and a beef bibimbap. Although food takes a long time to come out of the kitchen, the food is worth the wait! The seafood pancake was some of the best seafood pancake that I've had. The pancake had generous amounts of seafood in it and the crispiness could not be beat. Although the bibimbap comes in a large stone pot and is sizzling hot coming out of the kitchen, you unfortunately aren't able to extract any burnt rice from the bottom. Perhaps a little bit more oil is needed to achieve this? Despite this, it's still a really nicely constructed bibimbap bowl with a solid variety of vegetables. The chicken wings are crispy on the exterior and juicy on the interior. The wings are on the larger size, so once you get past the thin layer of crispy skin on the outside, I recommend dipping the wing back into the leftover sauce on the plate for more flavor. Last but not least, the tofu soup had a deep kimchi flavor, and was very mild in terms of spiciness. I thought the rice cakes included in the bowl were cooked perfectly and had a nice bounce to them. Overall, if you're looking for Korean food in this part of town, I don't think Danji Korean Cuisine can be beat.

The display was beautiful but the rice didn't crisp up against the stone pot the way I expected, and that may have been because of how it was plated. I also ordered the six piece mixed fried chicken - the chicken was super hot, freshly fried and flavorful. I can definitely see why they advertise the chicken on the door. It's not my favorite Korean place but I'll definitely come back here if in the area.

The dining area did not appear very clean. The windows were visibly dirty, and while guests are asked to remove their shoes for the traditional seating area, the servers continued to walk through the space with their shoes on. The floor cushions also appeared worn and not particularly clean, which made the experience feel less comfortable. More concerning was the food. Toward the end of our meal, we realized that something tasted off. We brought it to the manager's attention, but because we had already eaten most of the dish, there was little that could be done at that point. As a gesture, we were offered ice cream, but after explaining that we have a dairy allergy and could not eat it, ice cream was still brought to the table. That interaction felt confusing and suggested that our dietary concerns were not fully understood. We left feeling disappointed. With better attention to cleanliness, food quality, and communication around dietary restrictions, this restaurant could offer a much better experience

I used to enjoy ordering from Bai Tong Thai Restaurant, but the consistency, service, and overall food quality have steadily declined. Unfortunately, this wasn't based on one bad experience -- it has been multiple orders, time and time again. Orders have been inconsistent, items missing, quality all over the place, and the service response has lacked the understanding or accountability you hope for as a repeat customer. Even online reviews from others mention recurring takeout and consistency issues, which mirrors my experience almost exactly. It's disappointing because there was a time when this was one of my go-to spots for Thai food in the area. But at some point, the attention to detail and reliability just disappeared. When you're paying premium prices, you expect consistency and care with every order -- not wondering whether the food or service will be good this time. At this point, I've decided I won't be ordering here again. It's unfortunate, but after repeated disappointing experiences, I've lost confidence in the restaurant and can no longer recommend it based on my experiences.
