Do not waste your time, rude employees, overpriced and gross food. Clearly many others agree!

Wow, a 50% price increase in just a couple of years?!?

The food is good, but the prices just went up by 50%. That seems pretty greedy...and simply unwarranted in Issaquah.

Lots of rice and meat no complaints stoped in for To go and was ready in 10 minutes had 3 meals and gyoza. Customer service was nice special garlic sauce is amazing!

you're paying for rice. Teriyaki Chicken ($17)

paying for rice. prices on yelp are not updated, it was 17 total for the meal which only includes a small portion of chicken. the taste is also off, both the salad and chicken do not taste like traditional seattle teriyaki. pass for me.

We have office lunch. I tried something new today. Teriyaki chicken and crispy chicken, the garlic sauce made the food better. Without the sauce, chicken did not have enough flavor or seasoning. The crispy chicken was too well done, it was dry. Egg rolls was good with the garlic sauce. It was garlic lunch but that only way I can eat them. My coworkers said their orders was good. They also added a lot of sauces.

Seattle is home to Teriyaki because you can easily find as many Teriyaki shops as Starbucks in Seattle.  As there are so many, it is difficult to find a good one. Teriyaki Bistro is my favorite teriyaki shop in the Seattle area.  It is located in Issaquah right next to Fred Meyer where Best Buy and Home Depot are located at.  There are plenty of parking spaces. Because of its location, a bit far away from my place, my family and I have always ordered takeout every time we drive by - especially, visiting Lake Sammamish State Park or Snoqualmie Falls.  Please don't forget that they are closed on Sundays.   They have a HUGE selection of foods to choose from - chicken, beef, salmon, prawn, tofu, sandwich, and salad.  Their fake plastic food displays (something you may have seen in Japan) are amazing to watch - I bet those are useful visuals to help customers understand what they are ordering.  It's also good to see they got an "Excellent" food safety rating from the county.   As I've tried all their dishes over the past 15 years, I can personally comment on almost all.  My "favorite" dish is Super Combo #4 (Beef Teriyaki + Teriyaki Chicken).  The portion of the food is big enough to fill anyone's stomach.  Both beef teriyaki and teriyaki chicken are tender, juicy, and delicious with grill taste.  The salad on the side is fresh and perfect with their very addictive sauce.  Their food typically comes with 3 different sauces - teriyaki, creamy garlic, and spicy garlic sauces.  I even bought 18-oz bottles of both creamy and spicy garlic sauces for $6.50 each, and my family often applies the sauces to any combination of foods from sandwiches to salads. As the pandemic might play out longer, this place has the best Covid safe practice I have seen in town so far!  And outdoor seating is available to enjoy the food. So if you are in the mood for teriyaki, this is the spot!

Crispy Egg Roll (1 Piece) and Japanese Croquette. Yum!

Teriyaki Bistro is worth the drive for their garlic sauce alone-$7.50 a bottle. The garlic sauce has become a staple in my house! On this trip, I got my garlic sauces restocked, and enjoyed a deep fried egg roll and a Japanese croquette. The deep fried egg roll is my favorite of the two-crispy, crunchy, chewy goodness-without being too heavy/greasy. Easy 10/10. I enjoyed the croquette as well-it was soft and savory. I'll be back for some teriyaki next time :) they continue to have excellent flavors and quality.

This place can be described as mediocre at best. It's located next to Fred Meyer, so there's a huge shared parking lot but if you've been to this Fred Meyer, you know the lot is always insane. Prices are a little high for teriyaki, but it is Issaquah. I ordered a teriyaki chicken combo, which includes rice, teriyaki chicken and a salad for $14. My order was ready in less than five minutes, but the meat was flavorless and had definitely not been marinated for long. The salad was more of a shredded salad and was really difficult to pick up with a plastic fork, so I ended up throwing out most of the meal. There are other, better places in the area to get teriyaki so I could recommend saving your time and money and going to one of those instead.

The Chicken Teriyaki tasted like shrimp. Maybe they cooked it right next to the shrimp? Will not be going back.

We were tempted to try the tsukemen, but stuck with traditional ramen this time. The Original Ramen and the Miso Ramen were both delicious. The Original had a richer broth, while the Miso was lighter but still full of flavor. The Pan-Fried Gyoza was the perfect way to start the meal and super tasty. The space is small and quaint, but tidy and clean. Even though we ordered from a screen, the service was still friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to come back and try the tsukemen next time!

Menya Muso is the US brand name for Menya Musashi (as it is known in other part of the world). Ordered through a self-service touch screen monitor near the entrance. The ramen was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it appeared. The tonkotsu plus dashi based broth was flavorful, deep and satisfying. Noodles were thick (but less thick than Jiro type), wavy with perfect texture and excellent elasticity. Preferred Hybrid ramen to Tantanmen. Tantanmen had a sweet nutty flavor from its white sesame paste broth which I find one-dimensional after a while. The spicy pork nikumiso in the dish was a good distraction and the dish does carry a lot of heat (was sweating a lot). Pork belly (not included with tantanmen but came standard with Hybrid) was well-portioned, beautifully charred and tender. Chicken karaage was acceptable but not exceptional.

The sushi pieces are a competitive size and the pricing is very fair for the high quality you receive. It's the perfect spot when you want sushi in a more casual, accessible setting. This is a family-run business and it is our favorite place to get ikura--the quality is always spot on. The selection on the belt is excellent and stocked with fresh options, and the sushi chefs are always willing to take custom orders if you are not able to find something on the belt. We are always greeted with a smile when we arrive. During checkout, the server reviews the plate count with you to ensure accuracy. Despite having lived in Issaquah for ten years and loving sushi, I've never been to this restaurant and after actually eating here, now I know why. One of the things my boyfriend loves about carousel sushi is that it satiates the hunter/gatherer instinct within him so we were super disappointed in the lack of sushi on the conveyor belt the whole time we were there. I understand that there were only maybe two or three other parties in the restaurant so maybe it's not feasible for them to have a variety of sushi on the belt at all times, but it was still unfortunate and not the experience we were looking for. I ended up ordering a shrimp tempura roll from our server, and it was brought to our table. The roll was okay, and tasted the way I expected it to, I just wish it had more eel sauce and spicy mayo on it. With so many other options for delicious sushi in Issaquah, I don't think my boyfriend and I will be returning.

We chose the bar patio, which was cozy, fully covered, and set up with a handful of small high-top tables, making it a really comfortable spot to relax. The drink menu could use a little more detail, since none of the draft options were listed. When we asked about cider, our server checked and let us know they had a cherry pomegranate cider on tap. For beer, the options were simply described as an IPA and a lager, so we went with the lager. It was good, though we never found out which brewery it was from. We also ordered a mule, which was well made. For happy hour, we shared the half charcuterie board ($12), and it was beautifully presented with a great variety. Our server also thoughtfully mentioned they were out of Kalamata olives in case that changed my order, which I appreciated. Both entrees were delicious. The burger stood out thanks to the homemade ketchup, which was especially good. The Greek salad was fresh and flavorful, though a bit light on portion size. Overall, a really enjoyable experience with great patio ambiance, solid food, and warm service.
