After noticing some uneven wear on the tires I started checking the front end and realized my alignment was garbage and that's why my truck drove like crap. Brought it to total roadside, cost $300 for the alignment which is fair for these heavy trucks, they actually took the time to test drive it and make sure that they fixed the issues. People in the office were friendly and accommodating and the person working on my truck knew what they were doing which is hard to come by these days unfortunately. Once I picked up my Silverado I discovered my upper control arms and ball joints were in perfect condition, I have Cognito upper control arms and ball joints. I went back and spoke to the shop foreman, Cody Price, who told me that the ball joints needed replacement, but since the dealership never uses after market parts, the upper control arms needed to be replaced. I pointed out a Silverado in the service area that I know is waiting on Kypronite front end parts and asked why that is. Cody Price told me that the owner of that Silverado lives in Okeechobee so the dealership uses after market parts for him but not for me because I don't live in Okeechobee, FL. I then explained that my Silverado has a leveling kit and the Cognito upper control arms are necessary for proper tire alignment since they're a little longer. He then told me that the Dealership installs after market leveling kits all the time and never had a problem. I told him that my Silverado is pulling hard to the left and again he stated Gilbert Chevy will install after market leveling kits, but only for Okeechobee resident. I was discriminated against because I don't live in Okeechobee. I thought all GM dealerships treat people the same. Cody Price was very rude and unjustly cost me approx $1,5000.00.

Explained to him that i was driving from Miami and would appreciate an honest review of the car, wanting to know what problems the car had so I wouldn't be wasting their time as well as mine. He sent me a video, some pictures and stated that the car was in great shape. My wife and I were in the car the next day driving the 140 plus miles to their dealership. When we got there, we were greeted and told that the vehicle was being detailed. After about a 10 minute wait they brought the car around and it looked great from a distance. Upon closer inspection I immediately noticed the trunk lid, and rear bumper appeared to be freshly painted. The vehicles external flaws were told to me on the phone, so I knew what I was walking into. When I discussed on the phone the condition of the AC, he said it was working great. Upon inspection, it appeared that there was some type of foam sealant used on the ac accumulator. When asked about it the sales rep told us he knew nothing of that. While it blew cold, it was apparent that there was an issue at some time, but no one knew anything about it. I checked under the car and it also appeared since it was a North Carolina car, there was rust under the car which may have been why the rear deck lid and bumper were painted. I asked him why were they painted and I got what has to be the most ridiculous answer ever from a car salesman and I quote "We had them painted because the guys in the body shop had nothing to do so we gave them something to do" If that was the fucking case they should have done the whole car! Right then and there, we lost trust in both him and the dealership. We opened the trunk to find it extremely wet on both the carpet and deck lid. They took it back to the body shop and told us that they would let us know what the problem was. We left to go get something to eat and waited for their call. An hour and a half later I get a text that it was the studs holding the tail lights in and that it was fixed. Like I said earlier we lost trust with them, so we both decided to pass on the vehicle due to that loss of trust, NO MATTER HOW MUCH WE LIKED THE CAR! We both were quite pissed at the fact that we drove all that way fully expecting to leave with it, only to be mislead on what was actually wrong with the car. I called the dealership later to speak with the manager and left a message for Tim Masse the manager. I was told he would return my call, never did. Left another message yesterday, same result no call back. Left another this morning, still crickets. I'm sure that this dealership provides a great service to the local community that wants new cars? Used cars, another story. Would I do business with them? Not at this point. A simple inspection of the vehicle by one of their mechanics, listing what I found in a 15 minute inspection would have saved us a shit ton of time that I could have spent looking for an honest and reliable used car. I still cannot get over this statement; "We had them painted because the guys in the body shop had nothing to do so we gave them something to do" Think about that before you venture out to see what they have to offer. Just not right to bullshit a customer with cash to spend! Time to hit social media to spread the word....... They chose to delete my honest review so I added it again plus an update. Thank you for turning me away otherwise I wouldn't have found this little gem in my backyard. 2006 Grand Marquis 60 thousand original miles with an extended warranty to 92 thousand miles as well as 4 additional new tires and rims.
