I am also busy and have a 3 month wait for non urgent patients. But when you have established patients with urgent concerns you accommodate them in an urgent fashion. 3 weeks is not urgent. A 13 year old with a new onset raised itchy facial rash is not something that can wait 3 weeks. I told them this is not up to my expectations of care and is poor patient care and they said "we are sorry to hear that but we do understand if you will need to see another dermatologist. We have a lot of urgent concerns that has been requesting to schedule but we cannot accommodate everyone." Wow. As a physician I am appalled. I would never let my staff say this to a patient!

IS who I trust to take care of my family in the East Bay. I know they are in the hands of a highly skilled, caring, and extremely knowledgeable doctor, and feel so lucky to have the great fortune of having this incredible physician be part of their care team. She has the highest ethical standards and interactions with her support staff are always helpful too! I would encourage anyone who is looking for a Dermatologist they can count on to schedule a visit with her before her panel completely fills up!

True my visit was just a few minutes but in those few minutes I believe I received the information and treatment I needed for two warts on my feet. I avoided getting any kind of spa treatments on my feet because of a wart on top of one of my toes and another near my hell on the opposite foot. I was told they are contagious and should not be touched. I could put a band aid on them and still get a pedicure. Also I was informed that warts are historically difficult to treat and could require multiple treatments- up to nine! I had gone to a local podiatrist whose treatment was a very mild freeze with a canister that was very small. At Berman they had a canister that was roughly 5 times as large and delivered quite a punch to the warts. I was told it might sting a little and sting it did! I'm hoping I won't have to go 8 more times but I think I went to the right place. I know my feet will be beach ready before summer.

I mentioned my first skin concern and they briefly addressed it, then said "ok great bye!" No one asked me if there was anything else. Why is it so hard to book a consult an have a provider genuinely interested in addressing your concerns?

She also identified several skin concerns I had not even noticed and had plans for those too. Over a very short time I experienced great improvement in each problem. Extremely professional and competent front desk staff, with a great doctor (whose skin is like a walking advertisement for her services, btw!) They don't take most insurance but in this case you definitely get what you pay for. I will remain a loyal client, and if I ever take the plunge into Botox (shut up, I'm scared), Dr. Brown is the one I will trust with my face. A very solid five stars!

She required a 30 min appointment to address 2 concerns, his skin rash and a skin tag. My husband and I told her assistant (who was friendly btw) our concerns and the assistant left the room and said she would share them with Dr. Browne who would be in soon. When Dr. Browne entered the room, she had a strange look on her face which I can best describe as non-welcoming. She seemed dismissive and a bit rude from the start and didn't seem to care much about establishing a positive or meaningful dr/patient relationship. After she prescribed topical eczema medications for my husband's rash and started to leave the room, I reminded her that my husband also wanted to show her the skin tag on his neck. The assistant nodded in agreement and was about to speak up as well, but Dr. Browne interrupted me before I could finish my sentence and said "You're out of time. We can talk about it next time." She then quickly exited and shut the door behind her. Her behavior was extremely awkward and unprofessional. She could have easily taken a look if she wanted to, because we had only seen her for about 15 min although we were at her office for 30 minutes (filling out paperwork and waiting) and had paid for a 30 min appointment. This was definitely a disappointing experience and my husband won't be going back. I did receive some comfort seeing other negative reviews with similar comments. I just wish I had seen those reviews beforehand!
