The first red flag was when I cane to pick up my pre-paid order I had scheduled for a 1pm pickup. It was not ready and I was told to wait. At 1:30pm I was still waiting and I complained that I ordered and paid days ago, and that this was making me late for my get together. They told me that it was coming out and preceded to hand me a tray to take back to my car one by one. I was in a rush and only verified that all food was accounted for. I should have verified the food was actually cooked! Both the mac n cheese and yams trays were horrible! The mac n cheese was just cheese sauce on macaroni and not baked. The yams were dry and tough as they were not candied at all! My guests barely touched it. Maybe the dinners are still okay but I definitely don't recommend their catering trays. I'll go support another soul food place.

The Mac n cheese was a bit too salty for me but my son said it was the best Mac n cheese he's ever had. Everything was really good but the yams were easily my favorite. My son also got a kool aid which was also really good and perfect for a hot day. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back next time we're in the area!
