His attitude was pleasant, and he had a genuine smile. Not one of those false demonstrations of civility. When you walk in, the smell of the food automatically turns you from hungry to excitedly starving. One of the keys to good food is the aroma from the kitchen. We were ushered to the back, Sunday Church pun intended. Our server got us wonderful drinks. Then we ordered our food, and when those soulful southern dishes arrived, it was the crown jewel of the experience. They looked as good as they tasted. We not only enjoyed the food, but Lonell came and chatted with us. He was genuinely concerned with the quality of our food and service, which was exceptional.
