This is a very small cafe. Four tables inside, 3 picnic tables outside, and a drive-thru window. We stopped in to try our luck getting a table and easily scored one inside after ordering 2 iced lattes and 2 breakfast sandwiches. We were prepared to sit outside but got lucky with a table inside. A happy perk indulging me to dine 'in' on a review visit so I can observe interactions with other customers and between employees. The staff is a great team - working together very well and helping to fill orders for the drive-thru window and counter orders. Very impressive overall and a level of service that really stands out - table delivery of drinks and food as soon as they were ready. I also noted 3 'to go' orders handled with the same efficiency. Well done, Cafe 19! The food options exceeded my expectations. Several breakfast options, several lunch options, and a nice baked goods selection. What really makes me love a coffee shop is the coffee, though (of course). The smell of beans being ground and brewed filled the air and our cold choices were lovely. I had seen the sign for Golden Hands and decided that's where we would go! It did NOT disappoint! The kids went for the normal glazed (but twist not a circle donut!) and vanilla with sprinkles. I wanted to try one of the many others. I tried something different so I sprung for the strawberry with banana cream. I'm not a huge banana fan but oh my goodness this was amazing! The service was impeccable. I love supporting small businesses. It's definitely got a warmth and charm that is missing from the big box places. I cannot wait to come back again!
