Recent Ga transplant and I had an excruciating pain due to 'dropped' wisdom teeth. As well, I hadn't been to the dentist in about 4 years so I needed that DEEP cleaning where they go underneath each and every tooth into the gums. My technician was a heaven sent angel named Lindsey. She was sooo patient and sooooo gentle. We had to split the cleaning into two separate sessions because it was so intense. I cannot say enough how careful she was. She talked me through it, had nice music playing in the background and made me feel so comfortable that I was able to get through both intense sessions like a champ. The resident dr pulled my two wisdom teeth a few weeks later and I have been going for my 3 month check ups ever since. The kind service doesn't stop there. Every single employee there has made me feel extremely valued from the young lady that checks you in to the account manager that takes the payments, this practice is first rate and I can't imagine trusting my teeth to anyone else. read more

First time visit to this dentist office and I'm not sure how I feel. Beautiful facility friendly staff educated Dr. But what happened to being able to go to a dentist office and just get your teeth cleaned. Why is it that everything is an up sell anymore. I am the patient and I am wondering why I have no control over what I want to have done. I totally understand that I could use a little deeper cleaning than just what is covered by your insurance. But if that's all I want why can I not get that? It's all or nothing as I am being told. Not sure that I ever heard of a Doctor Who refuses to do the work that the patient has requested. How can they get away charging the way they do and not get arrested for theft? They say SO MUCH is not covered by "your insurance" and you have to pay the difference. It's like this: You go to a car wash to get your car cleaned. They charge you for the service. Then they add on the water, soap and drying cloth and then add the wax and vacuum service and don't forget the electric and bathroom use also. Same thing with their billing...They charge for the main service "filling" then add on everything required to complete the job. The insurance says that they deny services because it should be included in the basic charges...Wow...what a rip off....STAY AWAY read more

Oh I have so much to say about this oral surgeon who is so mean he made me cry twice. I went in for a tooth that was bothering me, that I needed pulled. The first thing he said was something about an implant I'd had done there by him, where I had the bottom in, but not the top. I had decided to get my regular dentist to do the top, because, well its just easier. So, I'm there for my bad tooth, and all he can talk about is how I went to Dr. Lee's office and he was obviously very pissed about it. So, Dr. Lee couldn't ever get the top part done, because Dr. Liposky wouldn't ever give him the information they needed to DO it.. so I said well I guess I need to get the top part.. he was like, no! I'm not gonna do it, you went to Dr. Lee you need to see him. *I do agree that when there is an infection present they won't do the procedure, but I stand by my comment that he literally didn't even look inside my mouth, all he was worried about was me going to another dentist. * I opened my mouth a tiny bit, he didn't look, he just said "we aren't going to do it today" I was in so much pain it was crazy, I had already been taking Motrin and antibiotics, I def give them 0 stars for pain relief. I was up for 2 nights after all night in pain. If you're hurting and need relief don't even bother with the oral surgeon, Dr. Liposky. So, here's where it gets worse, ok, first of all he was so mean about the implant he made me cry, no pain relief, and then they said they couldn't get me in for TWO WEEKS! Which made me even more upset. Now, I'm going to have to deal with this pain until (IF) the antibiotics work. (This is the only nice thing I have to say, there was a lady in the front office named Chris, I had talked to the day before, she called me back later than day and got me in on Thursday, if it hadn't been for her, I'd still have to wait a week and 1/2 anyway. Oh! I forgot, my appointment where he didn't look at it, and told me he won't do it today anyway, cost me $100, that's on top of the $200 it cost to get the tooth pulled. So, now it's finally Thursday and I'm so scared to get the shot because my mouth is so swollen and painful anyway.. it literally hurt to touch it. He comes in and goes to give me the shot.. feel a pinch, THEN HE GETS MAD BECAUSE IT HURT ME AND STOPS GIVING ME THE SHOT, and man, geez he is such a jerk! He tells the lady across on the other side of me, "see you can tell when a patient wants it to hurt, because they tense up" NO! I TENSED UP BECAUSE IT HURT! NOW I HAVE TO DEAL WITH HIM PUTTING THE NEEDLE IN FOR THE 2nd time, and I didn't even do anything, he was just being a jerk! I've got such a tender heart y'all and I don't like people to be mad or mean to me, so, here I go crying again.. I mean I'm in so much pain and he's stopping what he's doing, only to have to start all over again.. I would NEVER recommend the oral surgeon to anyone, not even my worst enemy y'all. He is awful! Plus, I mean if you need anything done, there's a 2 week wait anyway.. sooo As far as the dentist Dr. Vu, I'll just have to go along with my 1 Star, wish it could be no stars, because she has obviously hired him to be a part of her team and he is a mentally abusive jerk. I haven't included everything, feel free to message me if you want the rest of the story.. but, there was no reason for him to be so mean to me just because he was mad that I was going to have another dentist do the top of my implant. Please don't go! Please spend your money at a dentist/oral surgeon who cares about your teeth, not getting angry because you saw another dentist after them, and then trying to "pay you back" for going to someone else. Y'all, from the tone of his voice, and everything he said, I am 100% sure, the reason he didn't do it Tuesday when I went in (because it literally took 6 minutes from start to finish to complete the job) was because he was mad about SOMETHING ELSE and was trying to pay me back.(plus 2 week delay for apt) Please don't go here. Dr. Stinson at Lee Family dentistry is the best dentist, they will also treat your pain if you really need it, and get you taken Carr of, literally the same day. Do t give these people your money. Also, I would like to add, on the other rebuild saw where they were recommending everyone to get a deep cleaning.. and I wanted to say, THEY DID THE SAME EXACT THING TO ME, around the time all those reviews about the deep cleaning were being made, was when I was there and they told me I needed a deep cleaning too! So weird! They really just want your money and they could care less about you as a patient! Now I am going to leave my reviews about Dr. liposky and Hiram dentistry on the rest of the review sites, and hopefully save some people some hard times. That way you won't have to get no pain relief, a dentist who is verbally abusive and who made me cry twice just because he was mad about me going to see a better dentist! This place is the worst they did a molar crown to my Mom in 2016 "very expensive btw" and it broke and to see it the want to charge almost a 100$ because it was done 2 years ago, wtf a crown should last between 5 to 15 years depending on the quality of the material sense we pay an expensive amount i should it last it the 15 years min. I had gone to this dentist for a few years. All of the sudden, everyone I knew that went here needed a deep cleaning! (Not covered by insurance)! How does that happen? If I could give less then 1 star I would. This is a doc in the box dentist. I had a broken denture that needed work and they said they would see me. Sat down dentist came in said they cannot work on the denture and sent me home saying I didn't owe anything two months latter they send me a bill. Total scam operation go elsewhere. read more

The staff is great and very welcoming and professional. My issue is that they want you to under go a plan for deep cleaning before they will do any regular cleaning. The main reason why I was looking for a new dentist was that mine was out of network. Well after this visit I'm going back to my previous dentist office and will just have to deal with out of network cost compared to what they want to charge. I wish I could give Hiram Dental a HUNDRED STARS!!! Rarely these days do you experience such phenomenal customer service. The office staff are so accommodating, and kind, and caring, and empathetic. I went to Aspen Dental (Acworth) earlier in the day, only to be turned out into the street in agonizing pain from a completely cracked tooth, and a $26,000 estimate to fix my teeth. I called Hiram Dental and told them what happened to me at Aspen, and they got me into their office in 2 hours. I was in an office, with a dentist (not just a hygenist) within minutes. The dentist had me out of pain with some novacaine within 5 minutes. When I left this office, I was completely out of pain, with an appointment with the oral surgeon set for next week, and pain management until my appointment. That night I had the first full night of sleep I had had in 4 days. Hiram Dental treats people like human beings, and like they would want to be treated themselves, like you are family. Hiram Dental has a forever patient now, and I will be sending my whole family there. This office is run by people who know what they are doing, and ALL businesses should try and emulate the exceptional customer service that Hiram Dental possesses. And, for anyone questioning my rave review, I did not know ANYONE at this office before I went there for my emergency appointment. Be very careful with this office, perhaps they are trying to pay off their new building??? THEY UPSELL services that you do not need! I took my 16 year old daughter there for a basic cleaning since they were closer to our home then our regular dentist office. Dr. Vu took a look in her mouth and immediately started saying what she needed. She said my kid had gingivitis and needed a below the gum line cleaning for an additional $190 not covered by my CIGNA insurance and she needed braces on her bottom teeth. The nurse came in after the "examination" and said a regular cleaning could not be done due to the gum disease. I asked to be shown where my daughter's gums showed signs of gingivitis since we are diligent about her oral health and NEVER miss cleanings...AND RIGHT BEFORE MY EYES, the technician began digging in my kids gum behind the front bottom tooth trying to make it bleed. When it finally did, she said, "see, here is why". Then I said, "no, you actually made it bleed by digging, and if she had gum disease, you wouldn't have HAD to dig as hard to MAKE IT BLEED". While this was going on, the billing person handed me an estimate for "today's work" which included OUT OF POCKET: $198 deep cleaning, $80 consultation for braces, $20 co-pay.... REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We left immediately!!! I took my daughter back to our regular dentist and guess what, the only thing she needed was her annual cleaning, her gums looked great, and she did not require braces unless she was bothered by the barely noticeable slightly crooked tooth at the bottom. I told the other office about the UPSELL attempt and to my surprise, they said other customers had told them the same thing about this particular office. WOW!!!!
