From the moment I walked in, the shop had a chill, comfortable vibe that made a great first impression. I had been going to Great Clips for a long time and usually left disappointed with uneven fades and that rushed assembly line feeling mixed with forced small talk. Jeromy made me feel completely at ease, like I was finally in the right place. He took his time, got the fade perfect, and made sure everything looked clean and balanced. Gearhead is special not only does it have an incredibly inviting atmosphere but the people who run this place are friendlier that's any shop I've ever been to and trust me in the last 40 years I have been to a lot cutting my hair once a month (I don't even want to do the math) I was lucky enough to book my appointment with Kenna 11:45 on a Saturday morning. She was calling my name 5 minutes early and that to me is important. She was incredibly friendly and social. I asked her to cut my hair and the only thing I asked was that the sides were left as short as possible but she could do whatever else she wanted. I was definitely not disappointed with how I walked out. It is one of the best haircuts I have ever gotten and definitely the best haircut experience I have had in my 13 years in Reno.
