This is a great place to come when you're in a budget!…read more The staff was super sweet and they were upfront about charges. We had a clerk that even gave us her own rolaids! They were very thoughtful and i enjoyed their company. Pool was great but a tad on the chilly side for me. There is no continental breakfast. You have to pay for it to be delivered up to your room for you. At any other hotel chain it comes free of charge. If you wanted housekeeping they have a strict schedule. Our room was awesome! We had a whole dinette set(no idea that's what I booked) and the bed was comfy. Was completely clean and not a piece of trash to be found. Only wish we had a better view. Wouldn't mind staying again.

Check-in was super easy, and the front desk employee was super helpful. After we had unpacked and started to settle into the room, my partner found a bed bug crawling on one of the beds. He immediately killed it and took photos (attached), and we were disgusted. I was in the middle of taking a shower when he discovered this, and when I needed to dry off, the towel I grabbed was filthy and just fully covered in short black hairs that were sticking straight out. We packed up all of our stuff in record timing, grabbed our pets immediately, and went down to the front desk to explain the situation. The front desk employee went up to the room, agreed what we found was a bed bug, and even took pictures of our pictures to send to the manager. The employee helped look for additional bed bugs, but I think we got lucky with just the one. The employee said it may have come from under the door from the conjoining room, so there wasn't a full infestation in our room just yet. The employee was super cool and helpful, and since I had booked through Capital One Travel, they directed me to initiate a refund through Capital One. We immediately left and had to search for/book another hotel, as well as inspect all of our stuff and pets for bed bugs. I called Capital One Travel a few days later, but since I didn't know the name of the manager or the front desk employee, they weren't able to initiate the refund until I got the names. Once we finished our drive to our destination, I emailed the property to attempt to figure out a refund, but got no response. I called the hotel asking for the names of the manager and the employee, and the person on the phone gave me the employee's name, but would not provide the manager's. They instead said the manager would "call me back to discuss the situation", which never happened (shocker). I managed to find her name on Google and called Capital One Travel back in an attempt to finally initiate a refund. The Capital One Travel representative then reached out to the property, but needed the manager's approval for the refund. They were making this representative jump through hoops and wait just for the manager to NOT approve the refund. Why? I have no idea since they are aware of the disgusting situation. So here I am, ghosted by the hotel's poor management, down $136, and attempting to get a refund on a hotel room with bedbugs that we didn't even sleep in. Just stay in Omaha, don't bother staying here unless you want a filthy room and possible bed bugs.

And, if you find that you need to do laundry there, bring plenty of quarters because the front desk hoards them and if they already gave you some, that's it. They're suddenly out. They'll sell you Tide pods for $1.00. There is housekeeping every day. I probably won't return. I'll find another hotel that has more basic amenities. Plus, you can't get a menu for the their bar/food. They'll have to photocopy it for you. The menu they have displayed isn't correct and the nice shiny one is not to leave the area. Just too many minor inconveniences for me.

Reliable hot water, plenty of light, four pillows, a TV with some premium channels, a micro kitchen, and more. There were only small signs of wear. (I was in a Studio room.) + Staff. Every staff member I encountered was amazing. The only ones that didn't go above and beyond were not directly customer-facing and deep in a task. + Room service. Omg, they actually have room service every two days or so without asking. NEUTRALs: * Breakfast. Definitely met expectations, complete with constantly restocked hot dishes and one of the waffle makers. * Snack bar / mini convenience store. Great during the day, not so great at 3am when I do not want to interact with humans; there are no vending machines on the first floor. * Location. Right next to the Mid America Center (MAC).
