When it came time to pay the bill, though, I noticed a few things: 1. they charged me for the original 27 kids even though I only had 23 show up (I didn't care so much about that), 2. the "recommended" a cumulative $100 tip (this is really high buy almost anyone's standards - and I chose to give $25 per worker, which I STILL think is high), and 3. there were pies left over from the party that I paid for and they weren't sending me home with them. After a really good party, when it came down to their billing, the tip reco, and then keeping the pizza without even asking if I wanted it (especially when they charged me for 27 kids-worth of pizza), I ended a great party with a not-so-great taste in my mouth from the experience.

We were allowed into the room 15 minutes before the party started to set up our decorations, including tablecloths and balloons, which made the space look great. The staff member was very nice, and we had two people assigned to help us throughout the event. The kids started with 30 minutes of supervised jumping and had a blast! Afterward, we headed to laser tag; the TVs weren't working, so we couldn't see the scores, but the kids still had a lot of fun. Then, we went to the party room for pizza. The two staff members seemed to be struggling a bit, so I offered to help out, but my guests still had a wonderful experience and no one complained. A tip was already included in the package, but we gave the staff a little extra on the side for their hard work. Once the party ended, the kids were able to stay and play in the arcade for a while. Choosing the 7:00 PM time slot was perfect because the place wasn't crowded, we practically had the whole facility to ourselves! Every weekend, I try and find something fun and different to do with my three daughters (13, 11,…read moreand 9.) We normally go to "Q", however being that we had limited time that day, we wanted to play laser tag, but eliminate the long drive. We arrived at Laser Kingdom around 1pm and found that the open session starts at 1:30, so the kids played some of the arcade games. There was a birthday party there, however they do a great job separating the birthday party and the general public. Sadly, there was no other people in the open session that day, so it was just us four playing, which my daughters actually loved since they had full access to the arena. (We played 2 vs. 2.) The arena is a little smaller than "Q", however the mechanics of playing is easier, since there is no need to run back to your base and 'recharge'. (Just wait 5 seconds and you are back in the game.) - My daughters actually found the experience here more fun than "Q". I found the staff extremely friendly to my kids and myself, and Steve was great. Very personable and accommodating. (There's some comments on here which are very contradictory. He is really super nice at the front counter.) If I could offer any advice or suggestions, it would be the following: - Some of the games in the lobby seemed to be broken and been down for some time (basketball, etc.) - Try and get them all fixed up! - Bring the atmosphere of the arena into the waiting area. I understand it's the waiting area, however make it darker, add some colored lights that move and scan the lobby... The energy should start in the lobby, not in the arena. - Build up a presence on social media... Create a buzz! I know there's a Groupon, however I'd love to see the place jammed with kids playing. My kids had an awesome time, however I had to search this place out... I didn't see any advertisements in my face saying 'this is a must to go and play this weekend!' I have a ton of more thoughts and ideas and would love to share and contribute!

For gymnastics it's ok. I think it's a better priced facility and they do allow the option to pay…read moreover time. Classes are more than an hour so it's worth the cost. So that's nice. The exception to this is the ninja warrior program which is not worth the money. It costs almost as much as gymnastics and it's only an hour. Classes run back to back also. So It takes 15 minutes for the staff to assemble a warrior course in the very back, which bites into your hours time. Then the kids just run the same course over and over. It's cute, but for 45 minutes of an obstacle course, it should be pretty cheap. My only other frustration is the mob scene that erupts when classes are changing. There's zero flow or crowd control. And no gap at all in start/end times. So you're fighting your way through "parenting pick up pandemonium". I generally find the staff and coaches very helpful and nice, as well as the desk clerks. No complaints there and they offer some really nice camp options during the summer. I would recommend gymnastics definitely.

Wish the public pools i went to as a kid had a water slide like that. No need for an expensive trip to a water park when you can affordably use your seasonal pool pass or pay $5 a person as a resident to get in here. They even have a very a super large baby pool with shower waterfall items to walk through or sit teaching the baby how to swim safely. Plenty of lounge chairs and large lockers rooms. Can't wait to come back again as this is a great place to catch some rays and cool down safely.

The pool is very clean, and both of the times I've been there recently (including today) there were "possible thunder" closures, which is fairly standard for pools. I'm pretty sure I spotted a Town of Babylon SPF dispenser which is nice. There's also a very robust splash area, and what I think is a baby pool or kids' pool, plus several lap lanes with diving platforms. Another reason I like this pool a little better is because you don't turn blue and freeze to death with the bay breezes. I wish I could get here more often.
