I go into a new place looking for pitfalls and unexpected challenges, and usually, I'm not disappointed. I've grown used to being able to get most of my own needs met through my own efforts. Prior to going to see Dr. Sandoval, I made the mistake of visiting one of these "fast food" dental places. HUGE Mistake. I went there because of all the great reviews. And when I left, I felt like I should've had a number tattooed on my skin somewhere for all they did for and to me. A great review can only be given if your expectations are met, and honestly, if you expect to be slapped in a chair, rushed through an exam and told the highest, most expensive level of procedures is what you need without the testing or research to back it up, then, by all means, go to these heartless places and you'll be fine. However: If you want a personalized treatment plan that addresses any concerns, reasonable prices, a caring staff, and an experience that makes you breathe out and say, "Finally. This is what I want," go see Dr. Sandoval and the wonderful people in Belen.

Just a warning, they do not adhere to the customer is always right policy no matter what the situation is. They never listen to customers complaints and argue with them instead of trying to correct the situation. That's just bad business. There definitely appears to be a trend of overbooking clients here. Dealing with their billing manager was a nightmare. I asked to speak to someone else several times and was told there was no one else. Basically as the patient I was treated stupid and was not treated with respect. I work in a medical field and our billing department would never treat our patients in this manor. I think that dentist and orthodontist really need to be aware of referring their patients to this oral surgeon. I since found a new oral surgeon who has been very helpful in the billing process and provided great customer service. Having your wisdom teeth extracted by people who have no customer service is scary. Why would you let someone extract your teeth when they can't even be nice!!!!

I've seen two dentists now that have said my crowns are awful and they had no business merging them together like that bc i can't floss them properly. Anyway the root canal i became infected 2 years later. So now i have to pay a bunch of money to get it fixed despite all the money I already spent at Aspen Los Lunas for them to fix the original issue. While they entice you with their low prices and deals don't be fooled by them bc now this is going to cost me double plus the headaches and bone destruction in my mouth. Now i have to see an endodontist and there's the possibility that I will need get my crowns replaced after a few years. I was only 26 when this was done so the crowns were supposed to last???? This is just ridiculous and infuriating that i received such poor care.

My toothache was quickly diagnosed as an old filling that was getting loose and had decay underneath it. They numbed me up and took care of it right then, drilling out the old filling and the decay and putting a new filling in. I didn't even feel the shots of Novocaine that she gave me and the numbness was wearing off within the hour. I feel great now! She is definitely the dentist to go to in Grants!

I mentioned that I was concerned we would miss an open slot if we waited, as time was short. Annie called me back a few minutes later and said she had gotten approval to reserve a slot the following week! I so appreciate her caring nature, professionalism and her extra effort to help us out. It was another 40 minutes before seeing the Dr. Schow who literally lied to my face did not bother to read the paperwork Annie insists I fill out so the Dr. could review it before my appointment - Dr. Schow is inept. He didn't read anything I filed out, when questioned about the diagnosis of another Dr. and when caught in that lie seemed smug and contrite. Trust this Dr to perform surgery HELL NO. They are downright mean, even sadistic, unprofessional, and a complete waste of time and money (they don't take most insurance,) I suggest if you can go elsewhere to do so.
