I've been to HMB twice now and had amazing experiences both times. They have the most helpful and knowledgeable crew. I brought in my 550 because I lost all power to my back tires. Stoyan and Bryno got it on the lift right away to look at it. Come to find out the flange on my diff was all worn down and needed a whole new assembly. A new assembly was a little pricey so they took the time to help me find a good used one. I couldn't thank them enough for their time and help. Josh and Stoyan are both amazing!! Took my 2021 330i in for new engine mounts. Called up bmw and a couple other indy shops and HMB beat their quotes by a mile! HMB also finished the job in one day, other places were telling me at least 2 days. Thats hard being its my only means of transportation. They did a awesome job. Josh even had me test drive my car afterwards with him in the car to make sure it was to my satisfaction. Would highly highly recommend this place!! The quality and time they put into working on my car is phenomenal. I own a 1995 E36 M3 and from my very first experience speaking with Josh over the phone, I knew that this was a place I could trust. Owning an older BMW can be troublesome at times, but Josh at HMB Motorwerks has made my ownership experience worthwhile. My plan was to have major maintenance items taken care of while also focusing on a track inspired street build. You would be hard pressed to find a shop like HMB that is willing to take the time and discuss plans for your car. I have spoken to other mechanic shops over the phone, was a long time customer at an independent BMW shop, but none of them had the enthusiasm, knowledge, and the honesty that HMB possesses. I have had everything from an oil pan/ valve cover gasket to a full on suspension rebuild involving bushings, subframe reinforcements, and coilovers installed at HMB. All of these jobs were completed successfully and I couldn't have been happier with the results. I've taken my E92 M3 in for: rod bearings, oil pan replacement, engine mounts, rear subfram bushings, upgraded sway bars, dif. Bushings, final drive upgrade, front LCA bushings, and a specific 4 wheel alignment (which he does old school ). He is highly knowledgable when it comes to upgrades in terms of how they will affect/ benefit your BMW.
