    Kung Pao chicken bowl
    Joseph C.

Stopped in here just to try their Kung Pao chicken. I've generally been disappointed with most Chinese restaurants that have stopped making this dish the way I remember /like it. Usually too few peanuts and smothered with runny sauce and very little chicken. Not the case here. Order the bowl and it will be very satisfying. An added bonus is the salted pepper chicken wings. Those were delicious! But if you order them don't get them to go as they won't be as crisp by the time you eat them.

The location is good since im living 5 minutes in this beautiful small restaurant the food is good the server are super nice hope we can support a small business like this thank you!!!!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Place was nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Unfortunately empty at the time I went but I can't complain since the food came out fast and the service was good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service: the staff was nice and friendly. Making sure my water cup was full and checking on me if I needed anything. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience is good. Looks like they revamped the place compared to the older pictures.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I should have taken some of the menus as well but I didn't know how long ago other people took pictures of the place. Good was great. I had the Kung pao 4 delight. Chicken, beef, shrimp, scallops. All the proteins were really tender and the chills had a great kick to them. Overall: I had a pleasant experience. Luckily I don't work too far from the place. I will be back to visit again

We decided to stop in for dinner while in the area since we've heard nothing but good things about this place. Upon arrival I noticed the place was pretty empty but decided to try it anyway. The restaurant is quaint with a spacious dining area and staff were very polite, friendly, and attentive. We didn't dine in since we had our dog so just got take out. Their dinner menu selections is a la cart family style with various kung pao bowls where you can choose a protein. I had the 4 delight bowl that came with chicken, shrimp, beef, and scallops. It also had scallions, peanuts on a bed of white rice. My wife ordered the chicken bowl, she wanted it hot and spicy with white rice. I was disappointed with my meal, it lacked flavor and the rice was mushy. It wasn't what I expected since people we know dine here all the time but come for lunch where they have specials. The protein was doused in a sauce that just wasn't tasty. The food totally under succeeded our expectations. We should have just went to Panda Express that's around the corner. Sorry not sorry!!

    3 delight bowl.

I really like the 3 delight bowl here even though it is not the same as it was before. I think they use basmati rice now instead of jasmine and the texture is just not as ideal. It consists of steamed or fried rice and chicken, beef, plus shrimp smothered in a delightful brown sauce. The components come together well to please your palate. You can get it with or without peanuts and green onion. Also, you can adjust the spice to it. They were more generous with the meat under the old management but it's still worth the drive on my lunch break now and then to grab a to go of this particular dish. The lunch special includes a eggflower soup that is better than other places, this restaurant has stood the test of time.

This place never disappoints. Kung pao and orange chicken are a must here. Alice is the best server here but all other servers provide A+ servers as well. Customer service is the best I've experienced in all of the city of Norwalk.

In the shopping center across the street from the AMC 20 Theaters and the courthouse.A very spacious restaurant. Freshly painted and the bathrooms are being remodeled. The menus is vast. I got the lunch special. It comes with soup, fried or plain rice and a choice of entree for $11.95 or for a different options for $12.95. There is enough food for 2 meals. I got the garlic chicken. It was really good. We arrived at few minutes before noon and at noon people started pouring in. I recommend this place.

I just found it overall a bit aggressive and over seasoned, with not a lot of layers or subtleties in taste, which is usually a sign to me that the cook is substituting salty strong flavors in the place of more depth of flavors. So it's kind of like catering to a lower common denominator and that approach may satisfy many, without anyone really being impressed by the result. But perhaps expecting subtle refined flavors is too high a bar for a chain type of Asian food place - maybe. While I did like the noodles and the sauce, the filet mignon entree portion was something more along the lines of what I'd find/expect at a Panda Express. Which isn't terrible, as I like Panda, but I just expected more with the high rating. The place is clean and modern and seemed newer, but the overall vibe was more impersonal, quick-serve, corporate. If someone wanted to meet and eat here, I'd be fine with it. But I also wouldn't go out of my way to eat here or necessarily suggest it if I were meeting a friend out for lunch.

The place seems to really show its age with the floors really dirty and the wood floors are showing a lot of wear and tear. We got there for an early dinner and the place was empty. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the quality is consistently great. The service is usually very good, depending on the day and time you visit. I often come late at night, and there's a woman who occasionally works those shifts whose customer service is outstanding. She's always friendly, attentive, and makes every visit enjoyable. Unfortunately, my experience has been different with one of the night employees, a tall gentleman. On multiple occasions, he has come across as rude and often stays in the back without acknowledging customers, even when you're clearly trying to get his attention for assistance. It can make the experience feel unwelcoming. Overall, I still highly recommend this place because the food is excellent. I just hope management can address the inconsistency in customer service so every visit is as enjoyable as the food.

I absolutely loved the crispy bottom layer because it added such a satisfying crunch to every bite. The inside stayed really juicy and flavorful with a good balance of pork, shrimp, and chives. The Juicy Pork Dumplings had soup inside, which was rich and savory. I've had soup dumplings before where the wrapper breaks apart too easily, but these held together nicely while still staying soft and delicate. The Wonton in Spicy Sauce was my personal favorite from the entire meal. The spicy sauce flavor was savory with a little sweetness. I'm typically not good with spice, so this is at a spice level that should be very manageable for everyone. I absolutely loved the spicy sauce, so I started putting it on everything. Definitely put the sauce on the chicken fried rice! The Chicken Fried Rice was a great dish to pair with everything else that we ordered. With several orders of entrees, a solid rice dish is a must order for any Chinese meal. The rice had a nice savory flavor that I enjoyed, and there was a generous amount of chicken mixed throughout the dish. I even asked the waitress if they do anything special with the fried rice because it tasted better than many other restaurants. It felt comforting and balanced compared to some of the heavier dishes. The Dry Fried String Beans were cooked perfectly with a slight crispness while still being tender. The garlic and seasoning gave them so much flavor that it honestly didn't even feel like I was eating vegetables. I do have to note that these were very much on the salty side, so if you don't like foods that are too salty, I would choose a different dish. The Orange Chicken was really crispy and juicy, which I appreciated because soggy orange chicken is always disappointing to me. The sauce had a nice citrus flavor while still keeping that classic sweet savory taste. The Spring Rolls were simple with vegetable filling on the inside with a crispy outside. I would try a different appetizer next time. The Kung Pao Shrimp was packed with flavor and had a really satisfying combination of textures. The shrimp were tender, and the peanuts added a great crunch to the dish. I thought the sauce had a really nice balance of spice and savoriness without becoming overwhelming. Another dish I really enjoyed was the Beef Roll Pancake. The pancake itself was nice and chewy throughout each bite. The sliced beef with green onions and sauce all wrapped together made every bite really flavorful and satisfying. For drinks, I ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba. I really liked that the jasmine tea flavor was noticeable instead of being overly sweet like some milk teas can be. The boba had a soft chewy texture, and the drink itself paired perfectly with the spicy and savory dishes from the meal. Staff: All of the staff members were quick and friendly Ambiance: Indoor seating only. A good amount of parking in the parking lot that is shared with other shops in the plaza.

At first, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the overall experience was better than I anticipated. The seasoning was a little strong, and some dishes had a fairly familiar, standardized taste. There were four of us, and we ordered about eight or nine of their most popular dishes. My parents really enjoyed the food. I have worked in China before, so I may be a little more sensitive and particular when it comes to Chinese food.
