Service is good. Lady server is very accommodating and friendly. I ordered Kung Pao Fish and mu hubby ordered Kung Pao Chicken dinner. They were delicious. Fish was tender, well cooked, soft and not fishy. This restaurant is where locals come regularly and servers know them. The ambiance is typical Chinese restaurant but they play old Rock music from the Sixties. The price is reasonable and well worth making a stop for quick dinner. read more

We ordered half order of kung pao fish and a half order of orange chicken. When we arrived, they had forgot the kung pao fish but they did make it quick. We were a bit disappointed with the portion size for the price even though we ordered the half portion. Taste was just pretty good though my picky kids enjoyed it. read more

It's a gloomy day which is perfect for a hot bowl of wonton soup! Called in and got the orders ready and waiting for me in less than 10min! Good portions with four pieces of shrimp, a few pieces of chicken chunks, and vegetables mix ( carrots slices, Chinese cabbage, bamboo shoots, chest nuts, and snow peas). I was surprised to find the wontons were with chicken filings which is different from what I am used to: most wontons are with pork fillings. I guess this would be a good option for the non-pork crowd. I have tried their noodle dishes and did catering with the them before with satisfaction. read more

They are racist!! The tall Asian waitress horribly disrespected our friend of color. She yelled at him when he asked a simple question she didn't want to serve him water while she went around the table serving everyone else. She made faces and was plain out rude. Stopped in here just to try their Kung Pao chicken. I've generally been disappointed with most Chinese restaurants that have stopped making this dish the way I remember /like it. Usually too few peanuts and smothered with runny sauce and very little chicken. Not the case here. Order the bowl and it will be very satisfying. An added bonus is the salted pepper chicken wings. Used to love this place, and have been many times. Food is good, service is friendly. Atmosphere is nice enough. Prices keep increasing, but that's no surprise anywhere. Why the low rating? They've (recently?) instituted a four percent credit card surcharge. I'm not sure if it's noted in the menu or not, but they certainly make an effort to hide it on the credit card cheque, simply adding the surcharge amount to the subtotal. Not nice. read more

Place was nice. Unfortunately empty at the time I went but I can't complain since the food came out fast and the service was good. Service: the staff was nice and friendly. Making sure my water cup was full and checking on me if I needed anything. Ambience is good. Looks like they revamped the place compared to the older pictures. I should have taken some of the menus as well but I didn't know how long ago other people took pictures of the place. Good was great. I had the Kung pao 4 delight. Chicken, beef, shrimp, scallops. All the proteins were really tender and the chills had a great kick to them. Overall: I had a pleasant experience. Luckily I don't work too far from the place. We decided to stop in for dinner while in the area since we've heard nothing but good things about this place. Upon arrival I noticed the place was pretty empty but decided to try it anyway. The restaurant is quaint with a spacious dining area and staff were very polite, friendly, and attentive. We didn't dine in since we had our dog so just got take out. Their dinner menu selections is a la cart family style with various kung pao bowls where you can choose a protein. I had the 4 delight bowl that came with chicken, shrimp, beef, and scallops. It also had scallions, peanuts on a bed of white rice. My wife ordered the chicken bowl, she wanted it hot and spicy with white rice. I was disappointed with my meal, it lacked flavor and the rice was mushy. It wasn't what I expected since people we know dine here all the time but come for lunch where they have specials. The protein was doused in a sauce that just wasn't tasty. The food totally under succeeded our expectations. We should have just went to Panda Express that's around the corner. I really like the 3 delight bowl here even though it is not the same as it was before. I think they use basmati rice now instead of jasmine and the texture is just not as ideal. It consists of steamed or fried rice and chicken, beef, plus shrimp smothered in a delightful brown sauce. The components come together well to please your palate. You can get it with or without peanuts and green onion. Also, you can adjust the spice to it. They were more generous with the meat under the old management but it's still worth the drive on my lunch break now and then to grab a to go of this particular dish. The lunch special includes a eggflower soup that is better than other places, this restaurant has stood the test of time. read more

Their Kung Pao Chicken bowl is great for lunch! The chicken meat is springy (bouncy), sauce is not too spicy and flavorful, and the peanuts are crispy (not fried). I realize now that I have been using their Kung Pao Chicken as my base reference for rating this dish at other Chinese restaurants. They offer lunch specials, which include soup (egg drop or hot & sour), salad, and either fried or steamed white rice. Today we opted for the shrimp with lobster sauce and the kung pao 3 delight. Our food arrived quickly and was piping hot & delicious (except the green salad, which was cold as it should be, lol). I used to love this place, ordered plenty of times and even sat down to eat here. I'm so disappointed. I paid almost $10 for a half order of "filet fish with black bean sauce." The carton is small and it's 70% bell pepper and onion and 30% fish. I'm not sure if KPB knows their competition but believe me they should because I feel ripped off. It isn't right. So I'm just going to say it, pay $1-2 more and Get full sized made to order Chinese food down the other side of Norwalk and head to Wok's Deli. How come I didn't know about this place sooner! Service was great our server was quick and HILARIOUS always made sure we had what we needed. I came to this place during my lunch break with a coworker who suggested it. Cat was super friendly and knowledgeable about the chef and the upcoming changes to the restaurant.
