I've been going to Golden palace for a while now. The noodles are my favorite. I'd say the Kung Pao chicken is not the greatest, but the broccoli and beef are good too. The service is ok, I always feel Rushed to eat and leave. As for the ambiance it's good for family and friends. read more

As much as this hurts me to write i have to. I work in a restaurant and I cringe at what I saw here yesterday. I walked in all the employees were sitting having their lunch. Cool. I placed my order and let me tell u I love it here but I won't go back ever again I was so grossed out. The main man thats always in the front was removing excess food from his teeth w his fingers and then grabbing and boxing up leftovers from an elderly couples table. Not once did he was his hands or go to the back to pretend to wash up. Then I see another lady straight up flossing her teeth at the cash register. Like wtf. Where's all the crap flying and landing probably on food n to gos and just everything. I didnt have my phone to take pictures because I had left it in the car but they weren't even hiding it it was completely normal to them to floss at the front where u order n pay. Ordered honey walnut shrimp, Kung pao three flavor, orange chicken Mongolian beef, special chow fun, house fried rice. Husband thought orange chicken was a little over breaded but the rest of us loved it. Big chunks of juicy breast meat. Every dish was well flavored and fresh. Hit the spot! Food and drink were exceptional, the waitress that attended to me was also quite friendly and we had a small chat while the food was being prepared. I admire the tranqiliuity the place has to offer, has alot of seating. The only thing I do have a concern about is the price. I'm a big fan of the spicy kung pao chicken with the addition of rice however the price seems too much to afford. The rice should already be included with the kung pao chicken seeing as how pricey it already is by itself. As for the tip, I dont mind leaving a tip but tipping constantly can really leave a drain on the wallet. I absolutely LOVE eating here but wont be returning anytime soon, there are also better and cheaper options. read more

I've been coming to Golden Palace for years. The restaurant is in a small strip mall with limited parking, however I've always been fortunate and have never had a problem. The restaurant deceivingly big! There are two main sitting rooms and even an additional room for large parties/banquets. The food is served family style during dinner, but you can get lunch plates during lunch. I can't speak to how authentic the food is, but it tastes delicious and is made fresh. I ordered pork chow fun and Kung Pao chicken and separated it for lunch for the next few days. My favorite are the Kung Pao Chicken and Chow Fun (any meat). While the Kung Pao is advertised as spicy, you can request the heat be turned up or down. Their menu is extensive, so I imagine there is something for everyone. While dining in the service has been pleasant. While the servers may come across as abrupt, they are never rude. It a cultural difference and I don't take offense. read more

Went to eat here for my Wife's Birthday on Wednesday evening. Was very disappointed with the Service. I had a male waiter and he was very rude. Looked like he didn't want to serve us and gave attitude the whole time. when it came to paying for the bill i paid with card for the bill and gave cash for the tip to the woman waitress, the guy brought back the receipt and i crossed out the zero on the tip part for the card. He pointed at the receipt and said "No Tip" while demanding me to sign on the receipt and put a tip. I told him i gave the tip in cash and he walked away with attitude to go ask the lady waitress if I did so. Then came back and said "oh sorry". I've been there 3 times and never dealt with this from anyone else but him. Other than this the ambiance was nice and food was good! Just don't think I'll be going back tho. read more

I have been eating here over 20 years, that being said I am omitting one star because the prices keep going up and they arbitrarily serve you a fair portion of food while other times they cheat you by using smaller platters to give you a main dish. You never know until they serve you. About two years ago they suddenly stopped giving a small carton of steamed rice that automatically comes with the a la carte orders. This must be out of pure greed considering the fact it should still be included since you pay about an average of 18 dollars for the a la carte entrees.
