Our local chinese takeout restaurant got upgraded! The first thing I noticed was the ladies at the counter, not the usual ones but younger ones were packing an order for doordash. Turns out the lovely aunties had officially retired a couple of months ago. Good for them! Since then, new management has taken over and made minor but impressive improvements to keep the business fresh and thriving. They are now available for doordash and ubereats, making it more convenient for my tummy. They changed the tupperware to reusable containers which I always love to keep. And lowkey I think they put even more food than before? Which I didn't even think was possible. The new girlies were fun to talk to and were so kind to us, and the chef is still the same too! Cheers to everyone eating at our local treasures. I know I'll be back more often now via ubereats if I don't end up there myself. read more

Clean place and they pile on the food for each order. Service is nice. The restaurant has a nice mix of vegetable and chicken dishes that are tasty. The food looked great and there was lots of it but we didn't try it since It was raining and my girlfriend wanted hot and sour soup so that's why we decided to try this place, since it's down the street from our house. The service was okay, the guy gave me the wrong change once I paid, it was just like 30 cents but still annoying. And the hot and sour soup was mediocre, flavor-wise it was okay, not great. And it had zucchini and mushrooms and I've never had that in my soup... I probably won't be coming back. Not a good first impression. read more

This place is one of those mama papa Chines food shop in the neighborhood. It open thru entire COVID even some employees feels scare. Nice friendly staffs and give huge portion of food. All the food options are good. Our family favorite entrees are orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, jalepeno chicken, broccoli & beef, & BBQ pork. The portions served are generous and quite filling. Chow mein is always yummy and cream cheese wonton is to die for. The staff are friendly with fast service. They are perfect for catering. Awesome Chinese fast food!!! I prefer this place over Panda Express because the food seems more home-made and authentic. Not to mention they give you heaping scoops of food so you end up with a MOUNTAIN of food!!! What more can you ask for me? My favorites are the orange chicken, curry chicken, broccoli beef, mushroom/zucchini chicken and the jalapeño chicken. And what they offer as a bowl the price difference between the "bowl" and combo plate is $1.50 than they advertise on their window that they have a lunch special but do not offer it when ur getting your food. Worst place. Prices are horrible but the food is worse. Greasy, no flavor and leaves a weird after taste. When I told the lady I wanted to just do the lunch special she told me I could only do chow mein and rice and one side and that I would have to take the vegetables and egg roll. You would think you can't go wrong with any of these. But I was wrong. I ended up have diarrhea the whole night and next day. Disgusting don't do it. read more

Walking into California Wok, I looked at their food to see what they had and how it might taste. It appears to be diverse in their Chinese culinary food counter. What I truly wanted was what they did have in my manner. From beef and chicken to fish and soup, it made me want to stay there for lunch. My order included the following: teriyaki chicken, crispy and tasty fish, and chow mein noodles with fried rice. This gave me a desire to order and eat. All did taste good in every manner. The fish was an outstanding item for my desire and the teriyaki chicken made me happy in an appetite manner. Going into the drink section, you could continue to refill your soda as needed. Sitting down at a table, I ate and drank in a very positive appetite way for its taste by what I wanted and how I wanted it. However, the the food box you have is not truly large and might not fully undo your appetite Bottomline: Everything would be within your realm. The only thing that bothered me was the price and size of what you are provided. With all that being said, as a retired teacher and educator, I will grade them with a B+!! read more

I just left the place I tried to order three launch specials but for some reason they only gave me one when I clearly asked for three I told him to add a little bit more meat on the beef broccoli since it only had Literally one piece of meat since it was the bottom of the bowl and they tried to charge me as a second item the main lady was very rude she went ahead open the plate and took some out for her to be rude after I nicely asked for them to make it better I've been going there since I was 11 with my family I will stop going there from now on I've also noticed that the plates are smaller to go. This is my fast Chinese fast food joint and I think it's extremely underrated and not appreciated. It's cash only and less than $6 for one item entree with fried rice, chow mein, or half half. My favorite is the House Special Chicken.. they don't serve a dish like this anywhere else! (and I would know.. I'm a Chineser) They give extremely hearty portions and all their food is tasty and not greasy and filled with MSG.
