Great tofu place that my family enjoys the foods here a lot. The tofu here are well make, packed with great quality of soy bean and cooked with care and it shown in the foods for sure. Parking is aok, mostly great, except holidays and vegetarian days. Small shop but has a lot to offer for sure, from ready to eat dishes, to soup dishes, to varies choices of tofu (filling), to tofu drinks, desserts and snacks. Staff and owners are alway nice, friendly and very attentive to what you like. With that say, my taste is abit off so I find it abit blanched (fixable) but still enjoyable most of the foods here. Prices wise, not bad at all. For the portion, I would say very affordable and reasonable for sure. Come check it out for yourself if you're into tofu or veggie foods. Cash only. Variety of tofu but I like mine fried plain and small cubes. They're fresh. Pop them in air fryer and I eat it plain w salt n pepper but thats me. Loved their sweet tofu as well. Tau hu duong. Gotta ask for it. They don't put it out in front because it's hot. So good. They give you ginger syrup. I enjoy their sweet soy milk. Also fresh. Skip their egg rolls. Amazing vegan place!!! Bun Bo hue and tofu here is amazing!!!!! Such a hidden gem. All their noodle soups are served cold and is to-go only. It is not a sit-down restaurant. Tip: bring cash! I sometimes call-in my order when I'm in a rush, but there is a wonderfully sweet lady at the front you can order with in-person. She prepares it in minutes, very quickly for you. They have so much lemongrass tofu and also many ready-to-eat packaged vegan Vietnamese food in small containers. I love to get my spicy noodle soup here. Good tofu, vegetarian (not 100% sure if vegan) place. Prices are pretty reasonable for food. Lots of Vietnamese variety including soups, soy milk, noodles. Service is usually quick as most of the time I've been there it's not too busy. Language barrier may be issue but there's quite a bit of food on display so point and choose! Rip off prices for tofu. $30 for 20 small pieces of tofu and a small tofu kho. Will never come here again. Other places have fresher tofu and more reasonable prices. I was on my way to one Vietnamese tofu place in Little Saigon when I spotted another tofu place across the street. Hoa Hung Tofu makes its own tofu, soy milk, and soft tofu pudding with ginger syrup. Also, all the food is vegetarian, including fried tofu cubes and prepared foods in plastic tubs. Like most of the family owned businesses in Little Saigon, it's a small place in a strip mall with little décor. I didn't see fresh, uncooked tofu but when I asked for some, she went to the kitchen to get some. A good size block is $2. The menu includes noodle soup, soup, stir fried noodles, summer rolls, egg rolls, etc. It's a deli, so plan on taking your food to go. While the tofu was wrapped in plastic wrap and put in a plastic bag, the water kept leaking out all the way home. * Tofu: Medium firmness, clean aftertaste, creamier than usual, good soy bean flavor. Amazing, AMAZING plant based vietnamese food!! I love this place! When I'm feeling too lazy to cook, this is my go to. They have plenty of entrees to choose from and many of them go well with rice. My personal favorite is the ca kho chay. I like to have it with rice and steamed veggies for a healthy and hearty meal. I will usually just load up on a bunch of entrees every time I visit and it will a couple weeks for me. They serve and pack the food really quick too. We stumbled upon Hoa Hung Tofu on our way to Lees and so glad we did. The lady working was very friendly. We were overwhelmed with all the varieties of vegetarian dishes for takeout and she took the time to describe each of them and packed them carefully as she knew we were traveling. We ordered six different items and everything was delicious. The sauces were flavorful and wished I ordered the bigger size of the mock duck dish as it came in two sizes. The egg rolls were so good and crispy. A box comes with 5 for 3.00, such a good deal Normally vegetarian egg rolls tend to be soggy and full of oil, but these were not greasy at all. I got one box of noodle yesterday and the noodle was so hard and messed up my stomatch.It likes too old or they did not cook well.

I got the tofu and mushroom cubes wrapped in a styrofoam tray at a supermarket. I was pleasantly surprised of the tofu consistency. It was smoother and more buttery compared to Tan Tan Tofu or Thanh Son tofu. I think Hoa Hung tofu has more substance (tofu) than the others. read more
