I used to come here all the time whenever I was in Philly visiting family. I haven't had a hoagie from here since 2012, so it's been a minute. The vibes are a little different. Maybe different ownership, so a different feel. I got my usual, the Kosher Little Brother. They didn't offer me samples of sliced meats the way they used to. But it was stacked high with the meats, but not as messy and juicy as I remember. I always eat half and save the other half for later. The bread is fresh and soft. Over the years, I've had the tuna, or turkey breast or the kosher. Always a Little Brother. Great flavor. It's the real deal!!

This is the must go to place for your authentic cheese steak in Philly. There are others. But don't be the tourist that goes to Pats or Genos. Always fresh, and it travels well too. Just don't put any other extra toppings aside from the cheese.

I was in the area, and wanted to try out Hoagie Factory. I placed my order and the man who answered was very professional. When I entered to pick up my cheese steak , I forgot my order # , and a nice lady ran through 2 pick up orders and I told her that the 3rd order read out was mine. I took my order home, and the cheese steak was delicious.

Really nice people, but do not recommend for a hoagie.. Close to $20 for a large turkey and cheese and not nearly enough meat or cheese. I couldn't taste the thin slice of cheese at all, barely any lettuce, and the tomato was awful:( what happened to nice juicy tomatoes? They are in season and so easy to get..I couldn't even taste the onions which is strange. Bread was okay. Overall, very disappointing; especially with the inflation.. being ripped off has a different effect on people. Spend your money elsewhere.

I've been to Hoagie Factory many times and their hoagies never disappoint. The ingredients are always fresh. For me, always gets it right. Love that their sandwiches come in 3 different sizes, so you can get the one that fits you or for sharing. We decided on 2, 2foot hoagies for the whole family to share. A tuna and an Italian. Love the fresh rolls, pickles, tomatos....all fresh. No complaints with either sandwich. Speaking of complaints though.......the reason that I've taken two stars away is because no social distancing has been put in place here. I ordered my sandwiches by phone. They told me it would be about 40 minutes. When I got there, no one stopped me from going in. This is a very small store by the way, that also sales groceries, milk, beer etc. It doesn't take but about 8 people to make this place crowded. I felt very unsafe standing in line, trying my best to stay even 4 feet away from people. I'm sure I was looking like a Ninja swaying around trying to keep my distance :( This could be easily solved by having someone monitor how many people should be in this store at one time. The sign on the door says phone orders only, which I feel is a joke. When you have no way of ordering anything but a sandwich by phone, and then not being called to know when it's ready other than standing in a line among other people. Also, they are Not hooked up with any delivery service (uber eats or grubhub etc). Please get with the times!! Even though I really enjoy their hoagies, I will not be returning until they develop some safety measures or this pandemic is over. Five stars for their hoagies and one star for no safety precautions during the coronavirus outbreak :/

I was initially perturbed at the sight of the dry rub, but after demolishing this entire thing, I began to question the rest of the country. Why isn't a dry rub more popular on a rotisserie chicken? It really works. It cost $12.99 and it ended up landing at 9/10, which currently ranks it 8th out of 76 grocery store birds I've tried. An ELITE bird. I've never had such dark brown corned beef served to me Neither sandwich had any taste or flavor, like they forgot to put the pickling spice on. Maybe they aren't making the meats in house anymore? Pickle Bar - wow, you might as well just serve us the few sparse items that you now offer. Disappointing Overall- we travel a distance to come here and will take Hymies off our list. I've been a customer since Barson's on Haverford Ave in the 70s I had a sense that the love and care was no longer there. Sad
