    Fig and prosciutto pizza

Came for Sunday brunch and there were plenty of seatings. They have an open lot right in front of the restaurant with additional parking in the back. Inside is very spacious, good for kids, families, large groups. The space is unique and historical because it used to be a train stop. The current commuter rail runs right behind the restaurant. Service - our server was friendly and attentive but can tell lacked experience. For brunch it was a small menu but has few vegetarian options. Food portion is decent and most can be shared. Odd, they don't have ice coffee and no hot water (at the time we went) so couldn't get tea either. I would rate this 3.5

Such a fan of this spot. Hobson's is fairly new to the neighborhood after taking over Regina Pizza that had been here for years. Hobson's is a super cozy and inviting restaurant. Picture dark wood, and it's got almost a candlelight feel when you walk in since it's pretty dimly lit inside. Also it was literally warm inside which definitely added to the ambiance of it all. Not to mention the extremely friendly staff working. Our bartender waiting on us was so friendly and kind -- I believe her name was Margot? She's so awesome. Shoutout Margot. Eventually our group moved to a table and they immediately gave us bread and better and water (a win - also the concept of complimentary bread isn't even that common anymore? When did that stop happening at places?). Anyhow, we ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and it was delicious. The added touch was the onions on top which I could personally do without, but I ate it anyways and it was delicious with the sauce and cheese ratio. Big fan of the live music as well. Lots of TVs to catch a game, and a big bar to sit/stand around as well. Will definitely be back!

Hidden gem! Food is always great! Burger day is every Tuesday. Wish the bun was toasted.

We love Hobsons, they're consistent with their quality of food and drink. I love sitting outside on a nice day, drinking the sangria and watching the sun set. Our favorite is the devil eggs but also love their pizzas and apps. We've not been disappointed. Hope that Hobsons stays as a staple in the neighborhood.

Great new neighborhood spot. Service is super friendly and food is awesome as well. The restaurant itself is very roomy, but is a bit bare and doesn't match the welcoming vibe. They should defiantly add some local flare, as it's just bare brick will with question 5 posters. Beyond that I loved everything. Will 100 percent be coming back and recommend giving the place a try Focaccia bread- free of change. Nice to see some places still do free bread. This bread was awesome with some nice herbal flavor on the bread and a nice sweet butter to pair with it 5/5 Chicken tenders Nice and crispy and has some light seasoning. Chicken was good quality Exactly what you expect from good tenders 4/5 Truffle Mac and cheese Great truffle flavor and very cheesy. This Mac and cheese was awesome. 5/5 Bar steak Perfectly cooked steak. Came with blue cheese butter and some crispy truffle fries, which were also good 4/5

went to Hobson last night for dinner. The place is nice a former train station that had been renovated into a restaurant. We got the Fritto Misto appetizer, which was good. We also got the burgers which are very tasty. The fries were OK. They had a side of pickles, that surprisingly delicious. they had music that night someone on a guitar, which was nice. I'll wait this was just OK not super attentive. We really had to flag her down when we were trying to leave and she never bothered to ask if we wanted to dessert specials, which also look good. This would be a nice addition to the neighborhood, I will definitely go back and try some other things on the menu

I ordered the porkchops with a tequila mule. I get it every time and every time it never fails. Ask for Luis or Nolan. They are my favorite servers. Well versus with the menu and have good drink recommendations. Great atmosphere. Inly criticism is the chairs by the bar get uncomfortable after a while.

Great food great service and great vibes! Loved my salted Carmel espresso martini. The interior of the restaurant was very nice and there is parking at the restaurant.

We started with margaritas which were just so-so. My spicy marg was not spicy and generally we found them to be a little on the sweet side. Fine, but to me it was more like drinking some nice juice. We ordered the nachos to share (you must get these) and a variety of entrees. Food came out so quickly! There was also SO MUCH. I made another two full meals out of leftover nachos and fajitas and could have stretched to a third. It's definitely Americanized Mexican but it really hits the spot! I'd probably just stick with water for my drink next time.

There was a DJ playing music with an MC giving away tickets. The hostess greeted us right away and informed us it was a 30 min wait for a table but that we could sit at the bar, We got lucky and sat at the bar, even though it was packed we didn't wait extremely long for our drinks nor our food. The bartenders were super nice. This is a good spot to kill time before a show or if you're just strolling by. I could tell there are some local regulars. Loved the rotating welcome sign at the entrance. My only complaint would be the ladies room could use a makeover. A nice paint job and new doors as one stall had no lock..

Night one we had an old fashion & the knee deep in passenger seat--both top notch! I paid more for my old fashioned earlier at the Ritz--this one was way better! With our daughter we had almost the rest of the menu: tropic like its hot, dirty gin martini, sour smash (gin) then mahattan, espresso martini & dirty shirley float. And she sent us celebratory house daiquiri shots with a bday candle. This is our new "go to" place. Emily & her team (Becca & India) were awesome hosts & helped us celebrate & remember this moment.

It was really good if only this place was bigger it would be great but I think it's because of the small ambience of it that makes it unique service was also prompt and courteous. I would come here again, but maybe on a weekday night or earlier on Fridays or Saturdays.

I would go back just for that - crispy + slicing with scissors adds a whole other feel to it. I feel in control of my flatbread. Calamari was good but I'd choose the flatbread over anything. Parking in the area can be a bit tricky, but it's super convenient to get to via the Green Line, which made it easy overall. For food, everything was delicious: The Romaine & Kale Caesar was good, though I wish it had whole anchovies for a little extra punch. The prosciutto bruschetta was incredible, definitely a standout. The crispy cauliflower was my favorite dish of the night, so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The rigatoni bolognese was solid and comforting. The Chianti-Marsala braised beef short rib was insanely tender and cooked perfectly (just wish there were a few more mushrooms!). Also have to mention the dirty martini was so good. Overall, such a great spot with a fun vibe, amazing service, and really tasty food. I'll definitely be back!

Coming right when they open I was able to see these things that you would likely not see in the evening. But to be fair I came right when they opened since it is first come first serve. A majority of the drinks were more on the savory side which was very interesting like "may all your bacon burn" with bacon bites at the top of the drink. The drinks my friend had were all stunning with the use of egg yolk to elevate the drink. We ended the evening by walking over to Bow Market and trying Viet Citron which was so DANG GOOD my gosh. The to go orders were insane but looks like they are doing very well despite recently opening in. I got the grilled lemongrass pork ribs bowl and youtiao and the side sauce was so good. The ribs were all very meaty. It looks small but I was surprised how full I was after having it. Nice night of drinks and food. They do both reservations and walk-ins but it's safer to make a reservation ahead if you can. It's pretty easy to make one as well; we only booked a day ahead for a Friday night. They have their seasonal cocktails that you can choose your choice of liquor for and martinis (both vodka and gin). They brew their espresso fresh as well so the space smells so good every time it is brewed. I got a Peru Plunder and it was fruity and light (a dangerous one).
