This place needs a warning label. "Might Get a Serious Addiction" ooof. Such fantastic Barbeque…read more.. I usually get my 3 item BBQ combo so I don't stand there salivating at the menu and looking like a crazy person. lol! I love the combos as you can gather up the delicious BBQ sauces (do NOT tell me to pick one- I will cry as every single one is delicious). Should out to the mustard one. This girl here does not like mustard- and I usually snag two containers of that magic stuff. If you go in the afternoon during the summer- you get a beautiful view of the Harbor bridge and some awesome sailboats breezing by. The staff is smiling and fast. The only downside is- the BBQ is so good, our friends the local bees want it all to themselves and have been known to chase me around a few chairs outside. lol. I'm still leaving my 5 star because I'm not letting the bees win. Not sharing Mr Bumble, so buzz off. Literally.

Not exactly crispy but still good. Wings with the Blue Fire sauce were fantastic.. done perfectly. Sauce is rich and sweet and mildly hot. Ribs were exceptional, and I only like my own. Meaty and smoky and done right, falling off the bone but not cooked to oblivion. Now.. the coleslaw. I swear my grandma is in the kitchen with her glass vinegar bottle. It's a vinegar based coleslaw, and it's wonderful. A touch more salt and it's perfect. Heartily recommend this place. No pictures because.. well because I was hungry and I forgot. Go see it yourself.

Arrived at 405pm for my 4pm rsvp and they somehow opened at 4, yet had people packing the bar, and…read morewere already out of ribeye and mashed potatoes. As of 430 they were turning people away due to being out of literally everything except some chicken. I understand not wanting to waste food but... if you're out of food by 30min past your opening time then you're doing something seriously wrong. My order is still not out. This is barbecue. It has been 1 hour and I am only one of three parties at tables. The waitress is incredibly nice but can't make up for ungodly slow service. When my food finally came out over an hour later, they literally brought 2 items out of maybe 10 I ordered. Everything else they were out of an hour after I ordered, 5 minutes after opening. HOW does this happen??? I didn't have to pay for my single ribeye and Mac and cheese which is the only somewhat not negative factor but I didn't get anything else I ordered either. Pretty beyond disappointed. I was incredibly calm and polite, even asking how I can prevent this in the future. Zero suggestions from waitress or manager who aggressively grabbed the receipt off the table and went elsewhere in tears. I gather somehow this was a really bad day for them? But I have no idea how I don't get screwed in the future either when I rsvp'd. Maybe I'll have to try to go by phone next time and ask if they're sure they have everything. The Mac n cheese thank god was tasty. Garlicky flavor throughout. The ribeye was big and heavy but god it was tough.

They have lots of fresh beef cuts, as well as some prepared food options like chicken cutlets and pastas. All of which looked great and like the perfect option to grab on a late night when you don't fully feel like cooking but want a homemade made. They also have a pretty nice wine selection, some baked goods (mostly cookies), and a cooler full of homemade soups, marinades and sauces. That seemed like the coolest part to me. You could buy your meat there and even buy the marinade in case you wanted to coon the dish a little later. I got the Kytana sandwich, which has smoked there, bacon, avocado, Russian dressing and arugula on a brioche bun with caraway seeds. The flavor of the sandwich was pretty good, although the turkey did taste pretty salty. I know that can sometimes happen with smoked meats, but this felt like a lot to me. My friend got the bbq short rib sandwich which looked delicious. It was on a hoagie roll and had pickles, red onion and cheddar cheese. The bbq sauce was really light, kind of seemed like a bbq gravy, but it was really tasty. I also got a pumpkin snickerdoodle cookie which was tasty. Service was super friendly and comfortable. The docs is very clean and looked like it has a lot of high quality ingredients, etc. I'd definitely return to try another sandwich of something for their adjacent smoke shop. If I cooked more and lived nearby, I could see myself picking up a nice steak here to make at home.

We attended a monster truck show at the speedway up the road- what better way to cap it than with some BBQ! Ok- this was a slow Sunday at 4pm, and this is a very small town. Kudos to the owners for operating this outpost. We were basically the only people in the joint. Beer selection was limited (mainly due to much of it not being in the fridges), but it was nice they had juice boxes for the little pitmasters. Really should have ordered one of the platters- oh but wife wanted a sandwich lol... Well they come with bread as they should in Texas!! Anyways, my main disappointment was that my brisket was just pulled brisket. In Texas (God's Country), not only will the brisket be served sliced, but at the better places the offer your fatty (point) or lean (flat). The pulled brisket here was still fairly flavourful and well seasoned, but still it's like being served leftovers. For pulled pork, it's cool, brisket I'm not impressed. Sides were ok. Slaw- standard. I like it a little creamier not bad still. Potato salad was good! Cowboy beans also really true to Texas flavour. Being a slow Sunday- service was basically high school kids. News flash- this isn't a good thing. It may as well have been serve yourself. Would give it maybe one more shot- full platter and on a busier day. That being said I wouldn't drive from Windsor especially for it (Slows in Detroit is the benchmark), but I'm rooting for this place and would surely visit again if I was in the area!

However I am surprised that there is sauce as i have known Texas as dry rub bbq. Pulled pork was typical, ok. A no on sides. Tried cowboy beans and potato salad (half potatoes were still hard). Overall, if I am craving brisket, i would come back for that.
