Neil is really knowledgeable about all the latest products and procedures for detailing, but even more, he and his crew are so polite and thorough, it blows me away. Awesome service from the start. Neil is quick to return phone calls when he misses them. We had to reschedule my apt due to rain but it was not a problem. His guys came out to detail my husband's Z06 for me while he is deployed. I had killed the battery unknowingly and they were super helpful and still got the job done. They also helped me get the battery out as obviously I have no idea what I'm doing or I wouldn't have killed it in the first place. The car looks great and I couldn't have asked for better customer service. I'll definitely be using them again and would recommend them. Neil's service team is awesome. I had a 12 year relationship with another detail outfit that ended on a sour note mainly due to their lack of execution, so in looking for another detailing service I wanted to make sure I would be able to have a permanent long term relationship and not have to worry. I started working with Hoffman Auto Detail in December of 2014. Neil has been super about returning calls and going the extra mile to make sure we have our initial set ups all squared away. We have talked several different times about his service offering and he has been super patient in bringing me up the curve on the who how what why of his service. We have been blessed with high end cars, mainly black one's and you do have to be a super detailer, bringing your A game consistently, to deal with black and make it pop without swirls marks and spider webs. We offed one of our other black cars moved to a pearl white car in December and turned them both over to Hoffman. Pearl pops too ya know? We have a tight squeeze set up in the garage, particularly with the black one and Neils guys went over and above to meet with me a few times initially to get the ingress and egress all down. I have had the pleasure of working with Josh and Garrett, two stand up, very nice gents on the Hoffman team, that know their stuff. It took us a long time to be able to have high end super nice cars, so I am especially anal about how they are cared for and what "attention to detail" really means. The older I have gotten the more I realize how difficult it was to get to the place where we are now, and handing over high value assets to someone else, and letting go, is a thing of beauty IF you get the right people to hand your stuff over to. I am a detail oriented guy myself and due to that, I know when things get missed and corners cut, which is essentially why I ended my 12 year relationship with another firm. Hoffman's team is like me. They love cars and they love the look feel and smell of a super clean super detailed ride. I hung out with the team a few times, me in and out of my house as they detailed one of the cars in the early going and these guys do get it. Now no one is perfect so if we had a minor miss on something, these guys went overboard to make it right the next time out. What I am referring to is black leather. My last detail firm did a poop job on caring for it. It had essentially lost its luster and appeared more grey than black. Hoffman's looked at it and did a leather treatment on all the leather and BLAM it popped and smelled like leather, turned "back in black"............super cool right? But if you miss a minor swath here or there in the wee crevasses, when the light hits them, the old looks grey and the treated, "back in black". No biggee. I pointed it out to the guys, me being the anal guy I am, and wallah all good. They took a freakin paint brush and dobbed the conditioner into the cracks and hold cow Blakeman...........BLACK LUSTER!! Someday we'll all be perfect............ we .just gotta wait till the other side of our last breath. But until then, I want to team up with people I trust and like, that care deeply about their clients and their cars, and strive for perfection. As I write this review I'll be the 18th Yelp review of Hoffman Auto Detail. I'll also be the 18th 5-star review of Hoffman Auto Detail. This tells me two things: 1. Wake up Yelpers!! You're either overlooking this terrific service provider (only 17 prior reviews!) or not posting reviews (unlikely because Hoffman's top notch service screams for recognition!). 2. 100% 5-star Yelp reviews is a very challenging achievement. Let me tell you about my experience and how Hoffman's merits these perfect ratings. I love a small business where owner (Josh Simmons) answers the phone, schedules service call and performs the work. I phoned Josh last week and took his first available opening which was yesterday morning (Note - Hoffman's is in demand!). Josh arrived at my home right on time and I was impressed just looking at his truck and flat bed trailer. Equipment on the trailer was meticulously organized. Josh explained the services and I opted for an interior and exterior detailing package for my Prius which is an unbelievable value at $130. Josh said the service would take about 3-hours and so it did. For 3-hours Josh was in constant movement getting specialized equipment and chemicals from the trailer and applying with surgical precision to clean my 2008 Prius. Upon completion my 7-year old Prius looks better than the day I purchased it new!! Woohoo - now I've got to schedule Josh for my wife's car! read more

This company used to be owned by Hoffman himself but he has sold it to two incompetent people they charged me $120 to detail a 2011 Ford Fiesta small car they didn't clean this seats there were marks on them they didn't clean the visors there were fingerprints and the fingerprints that are on the roof from pulling the visor down they didn't clean the slider that the car seat goes back and forth on and they did not rub out small scratches did not do a complete job I've had car detail done lots of times on different cars and I have never had such a poor job done in my life these guys are not good they're not careful and they don't do the best work that they could it's a shame that Hoffman sold this to let these to gouge people and do poor work. By the way Hoffman charged $70 for a car my size last year! read more

My wife and I called and asked for a quote for our car. This was our first time purchasing a full service detail. Josh was very proffessional and courteous over the phone, explained the process and cost very well. He had package price for us and scheduled in a visit just a week from then, even though they were very busy. On the scheduled service, he showed up 10 minutes early prepared and ready to go. My wife was home at the time and Josh showed her the condition of our car paint before, explained the process, and after a couple hours he finished. He showed my wife the change in the paint texture, as Josh got all the toxins, dirt, and minor scratches out of our car. Talk about SMOOTH! We were so happy with the service, we hired him to do my mother's car for mothers day. I will definitely use again very soon! read more

I had a wonderful experience with Hoffman Auto detail. Today Josh Simmons detailed my Altima. He did a fantastic job. My car was stolen and when I got it back, it was filthy. I wasn't sure if Josh would be able to get all the stains out of the seats and carpet. They look great. The entire vehicle looks amazing. Josh was on time, very pleasant, and professional. It only took him 3 1/2 hours. When my other car requires a detail, I won't hesitate to call on Josh again for his services. I found Hoffman Auto Detail on this site a few weeks ago and decided to give them a try based on their positive reviews. I have a 2011 black Nissan Altima that was in need of some help to try to repair a poor power wax job done by the previous owner. I had some scratching and swirl/spiderweb markings over parts of the car. Honestly, since the car is black, I wasn't sure that much could be done, but decided to give Neil a try. They came today and performed a scratch removal process on my car. Wow! It looks awesome and they were able to remove the majority of the defects in the paint. Neil was a pleasure to work with and very professional. They even vacuumed the interior of my car as a courtesy since the outside looked so awesome. I will definitely use them again. Neil's service and attention-to-detail was top-notch and definitely a cut above the rest. He was prompt in returning my phone call and was also very informative. I had an over-spray issue with my Toyota Prius and he was able to clean it up and make the thing look new again. This is also coming from someone who typically washes his car every 3-4 months. Neil the owner has been detailing my family's cars for years. He details mine and my wife's car every 3 months. We recently bought a used jeep that was in great shape. Called Neil up and after he was done with it we felt like we had gotten a new car at a used price. There is no way that car looked and felt that good when it was new. I will be using Hoffman Auto Detailing for the rest of my life. Every 3 months may seem like a lot but when you have 2 young kids honestly it could be done more than that. The great thing about them is when they are done no one could tell that kids or pets have ever been in there before. We don't have pets but the previous owner did and they got out all of the pet hair and odor. It is better than new.
