One word for this business horrible…read more I bought a sofa and rug on January 2, 2023. They committed to deliver them within 10 to 14 days. Over a month later, my items are still not delivered. Initially, the interaction with the owner was great. He was very gracious and customer focus. However, after I bought the furniture and rugs, their communications and follow up turned horrible. I had to constantly call them for updates. They committed to call me and never did. They only responded when I called. They never initiated one call to provide me an update on my order. They told me that my products were on the truck from North Carolina and I should get my items by Wednesday. When I called to follow up, they said they're waiting for the truck to arrive. Now I just got a call from the owner saying that my sofa was damaged and they have to return it. When I asked, about the rug I ordered, his response was, "he thinks that the rug was returned with the sofa". I said to him that didn't make sense because he said he just discovered the sofa was damaged. Additionally, the carpet has nothing to do with the sofa. They are two different items. He says it's a common practice for the manufacturer to return all of the items that were ordered together. He did not offer me anything for the inconvenience. I requested my money back and it appears he did give it back, but I'll check to see if it shows up on my credit card. I think the whole thing was a sham and I was being strung along. I honestly do not believe that he placed my order. I'm not sure if he was trying to float my money. I do not recommend this place of business. While I understand that they may not have control of the delivery and supply chain, they could've demonstrated the common courtesy of calling me to keep me apprised of my order. Avoid them at all cost!

The sales guy was nice and not to pushy unlike the many other stores I had been to that day. I love to sleep so I needed to make sure I really liked the bed I got. There was one that was comfortable but I like my beds more cushy. The guy says: no problem, I'll just have them put another layer of [whatever it is they stuff it with] in there for you to make it softer on top. The best part? They didn't charge for this! They also delivered it really quickly and exactly when they said they would. Six years later I still love my bed (and still spend way too much time in it) and the only thing I'd replace it with would be a really high end foam thing that are all the rage now. We searched online for over a month, visited five or six furniture shops, and even made a special trip to Chicago's Chinatown to try to find something unique. Our greatest setback was the lack of quality in the pieces we saw. My husband stumbled on a local listing for a gorgeous crimson nightstand from M&E that was priced to sell. I love restored furniture and creative vintage flips. We drove thirty minutes to pick up the piece. The owner's inventory was stunning; beautiful and vibrantly colored vintage furniture that was carefully restored. They are extremely open and friendly people who are passionate about what they do. Their prices were more than fair. We were hooked. We asked them to keep us in mind for another nightstand. Not only did they keep in touch, but they found one! They re-did it to our liking and set an appointment for us to come by and get it. Then, my husband spotted another one that he loved more. They graciously offered to repaint it to our liking (at no extra cost, though we offered) and sell us that one instead of the one they had prepared for us. The store has a wide variety of options to select from for fireplace products and patio sets. They also sell and install other outdoor products (ie. grills, mailboxes etc). It's nice that the store is also open on Sundays. Customer service: The staff here are knowledgeable and helpful without sales pressure which is appreciated. The purchased products are typically delivered very quickly if in stock and they try to order and deliver asap if not in stock. I haven't had any issues with returns if I was not satisfied with the product. I've worked with both Shane and Mike. *We did end up having to exchange a chair as it had a scratch and I wanted some touch up on the table because I saw marks on the table initially. I didn't appreciate the comment "you are being too picky" made by the delivery man. It is just not a comment you'd make to someone that is purchasing pricey furniture. I'm paying more than normal for the furniture so yea there's a reason I'll want the furniture to be in good shape. Costs: The costs may be on the more pricey end but they carry good quality products. The purchases were made within the past 2 years so I'll provide an update if anything changes. I'd recommend this place if you are looking for quality fireplace products or outdoors items in general.
