Food was low quality, avocado was brown and cheese was covered in green and blue mold. Called restaurant and guy said oh yeah I see cheese is all moldy. Offered points, but refused to give a refund. Tossed out 65 bucks in food and hoping we all dont get sick from starting to eat this nasty stuff. Do NOT go there
Tried 3 new items today: gyoza, avocado fries, and dream lobster roll. My favorite of these were the gyoza, hands down! So good! The avocado fries are exactly what I expected, and I didn't know if I'd love them, but they were unique so I figured I try them. Me and my son both agreed that they weren't for us ... but nothing was wrong with them at all. The avocado was fresh, the coating was crispy and stuck to the avocado and not greasy, and the dipping sauce was awesome. If you're into a thicker piece of avocado you will love these. I think I just prefer a very thin slice, or incorporated into something like a guac. The roll was good but I prefer the other specialty rolls better. I can confidently say after a few orders here now, you never have to worry about quality or greasiness. Everything is well prepared and it's really just a matter of what your taste prefers. It's a great place, truly! I'll be ordering more gyoza very soon. Yum!!
I ordered from DoorDash and was impressed with the reasonable prices and delicious food! The scallion pancakes are a must try! I ordered the two roll special, which came with 2 rolls of your choice and miso soup for only $12.95. The shrimp tempura & Philadelphia rolls were some of the best sushi that I've had. The passion fruit tea was the perfect amount of sweet too. I can't wait to order from here again!

Great sushi and appetizers. Everything we ordered tasted very fresh and had quality ingredients. The taro cakes were very tasty with the dipping sauce. Texture was similar to potato or turnip. The takoyaki balls were excellent with a soft texture inside and a seafood flavor. We enjoyed all of the sushi as well. The spicy crab and sweet potato were two of my favorites.
Coming from NYC where sushi/poke spots are of abundance, I was skeptical when someone suggested this spot for lunch. I got the bowl with 2 protein, hubby got their 3 roll lunch special, and we got chicken hibachi to share. For drinks we got passion fruit tea - I love that they put pieces of actual passion fruit in the drink but wayyyy to much syrup. It was too sweet for me (keep in mind that I'm the type of person that gets tea without sugar - so you might enjoy the sweetness!) We ordered online and it was easy to navigate. I was disappointed with how many toppings we can get - I'm used to getting 8+ or unlimited in NYC. HOWEVER, they gave a hefty amount of the 4 toppings and the amount they give in the entire bowl is very filling. For protein I got their spicy tuna and salmon. The salmon pieces were large/chunky and fresh - the pieces I get in NYC are about half the size, so this was a nice surprise! The spicy tuna was good, but is pre seasoned, so with the dressing it gets a bit salty - I would just get tuna next time. For the 3 rolls, everything was delicious - the rice on the sushi was nice and thin. Hibachi chicken's sauce leaked everywhere on the way home - despite the mess, it was also really good and came with a mix of veggies. All in all, a great quick, sushi spot and would def go back when I'm in Buffalo!
Was happy to get a chance to visit this fairly new restaurant. Though the visit itself was a bit disappointing. It started with their ordering. The ordering on the table wasn't working yet (maybe it should be removed until it does work) so we went to the counter. They're ordering screen was very slow and not especially user friendly. The 2 girls in front of us seemed to be there forever and we saw why once we started. This could be a big problem if there was a crowd. We both ordered build your own bowls and both had items wrong/missing. Mine had giant slices on lettuce that needed to be cut with a knife. We also ordered the 3 roll lunch special with eel avocado, spicy salmon, and shrimp tempura. The shrimp was the only protein I recognized. The others were chopped up in a mayo. Thing is, the food tasted decent. It was the other things that put me on the fence. I honestly hope the restaurant does well, just not sure how I feel about returning. 2023-16
Received an ad in the mail for this business so decided to try them out. There was a coupon to receive a medium Milk Tea with a $20 purchase. After reviewing their manu, I decided to order two of their customized rice bowls. Tried to place an order using their ridiculous and cumbersome in- store ordering system. It made it too hard to get your order the way you want it. I had to start over 3 times and finally managed to place the order. Unfortunately it didn't matter how accurate my order was placed, when we got home we discovered that not all of our bowl items made into the bowls and items we didn't order were in the bowl. For example I ordered a bowl with spicy salmon with beets as a topping among others and instead got no protein (spicy Salmon) or beets at all but did get radishes which I didn't order. The other bowl was completely missing the fried onions topping. As far as the coupon for a Milk Tea, their menu does not state any additional charge for toppings, just a additional $0.50 charge for hot tea. The coupon did not state that it didn't include toppings but I was told I could not have any toppings. Needles to say I won't be going back. Also don't bother trying to use the barcode plastered on the tables and all over the restaurant because all you got is a message stating that order function is not available.

Drinks: The best part about Hokkaido is that there is some control of the sugar level. Choose from 0, 30%, 70%, and 100% sweetness and they will do their best to accommodate your drink to suite your tastes. Family favorites include Tarro milk tea, green tea and black milk tea with tapioca and lychee jelly or lychee smoothie with mango bubble. SEATING: The interior is small so seating is limited to 5 or 6 tables that can accommodate up to 5 people. In conclusion: Hokkaido is a family favorite and we are happy regulars
I came to Hokkaido at around 7:30 pm with my friends to grab a casual dinner and the food was pretty good! At this time of day it wasn't very busy, so we were able to be seated and waited on very quickly. I ended up ordering the chicken hibachi and I was not disappointed by the flavor. My friends all ordered a few of the different kinds of ramen they sell as well and all around everyone enjoyed the food. I also tried a sip of the matcha tea they sell here, and it was very delicious! Overall, this was a nice little place to come and hang out with friends.
The food was delicious. The fried pickle roll was different, but tasty. They offer a variety of different and unique sushi rolls. The hibachi was flavorful and the edamame was salty, which I liked. Their side salad wasn't the best, nothing to it but lettuce really. Overall, I enjoyed the food!
My son and I came for lunch on the weekend. Thr first thing I noticed is they offer lunch specials and day of the week, not just weekdays. My son had a three roll special: crab stick, calamari, and salmon. He inhaled his rolls faster than I ate my Lobster Dream roll, which was fantastic. I had a lychee Boba tee. He had a couple Japanese sodas. They offer a good variety of flavors. They have a good variety, including special rolls I haven't seen anywhere else. You can also make your own bowl or sushi. burrito. You use a touch screen to order. The restaurant is small but most people seemed to be ordering takeout. Service is prompt. Great prices. read more
Been here several times, very convenient location in Williamsville. Food is very good and tastes fresh, I always order the bowl selection, heavy on salmon/grilled chicken, bean, seaweed and other vegetables. The portion size is considerable, that sometimes I will have two meals to spare (lunch and dinner). Highly recommend. read more
I was in the area and ordered takeout because why not?! For $13, you get 3 regular rolls as well as a salad or miso soup. The sushi was ok but you can't really beat the price. I ordered a shrimp tempura, California, & spicy salmon roll. My avocado had little brown spots and the salmon was a bit fishy. The shrimp tempura roll was tasty though! read more

The food is amazing the best ramen I have ever had. The service is amazing the second the check is out and you put your card out the waitress comes immediately. The decor is spot on and nothing bad the stiffies and lucky cats all over. read more
