We had such a great experience at Skypark Camp, and a huge part of that was thanks to Sydney. She…read morewas incredibly kind, attentive, energetic, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Her positive attitude and organization really stood out and made the camp experience special. The only downside was that it could get pretty loud at times with all of the kids and activities going on, but that's also to be expected at a busy camp environment. Security was able to handle the noise which was great. Overall, Sydney truly made the experience memorable, and we would definitely come back because of her!

I actually have mixed feelings about this campground. Many of the sites are quite narrow, with…read morevery little room next to your RV, although most are long enough to set things up behind. The only amenities are bathrooms, showers, and a laundry room, and there are also a few large firepits available. But the campground is very clean and well maintained, lots of plants and flowers, and the views from the campground are nothing short of spectacular. Santa's Village (affiliated with the SkyPark campground) is right across the street and has plenty of other activities and dining options, but there is an additional fee to enter the park.

We reserved Campground No. 12, a spacious corner lot that offers one of the BEST VIEWS of the sunset. During summer hours, the sun doesn't set fully until close to 9 pm, and from a distance, I could see the city lights, which was Lancaster. The campground provides bear lockers to store food, as bears are commonly seen in the area. It's essential to keep food properly in the evening. The campground also has flush toilets and toilet paper, though they may not be the cleanest. There's a fire pit for burning wood and a table for dining. If you forget to bring your wood, the campground host sells a bundle for $10. Overall, I had a great time hanging out with friends, and the distance is tolerable for many Angelenos.

What an awesome little spot!…read more Emphasis on little. The campsites are very close to one another with very tight parking for your vehicles. However, if you come in with more of a community mindset than seeking isolation in nature, it'll be just fine. We went camping with our teen and our toddler (sorry neighbors), but there were lots of other children around so it felt pretty family-friendly. The camp host was super friendly and they had local firewood for sale onsite. Facilities were pretty clean, even when they were a little bit more on the trashed side during a 5am bathroom run (was it children or critters, idk but the toilet paper was everywhere haha). Every campsite had a bear box, picnic bench, and fire pit; trash disposal was conveniently placed and walking distance from most campsites. Since it was July, it was on the warmer side but still fresh and beautiful. My toddler had a blast chasing all the lizards. And while we were a little nervous about the bear warnings with a hyperactive toddler in our party, we didn't see anything bigger than a squirrel. We will definitely be back!

Green Valley has (small - around 3 feet high) falls and cool water to soak in. It is south of the main campground and the public can park there (I think there is a parking fee to get into the campground?) and 10 minute walk down to the falls. Really peaceful, and the amenities (showers/bathrooms) have been greatly improved over the years. It barely feels like 'roughing it'! My onlycomplaint, and it was a BIG one is the flying BUGS were buzzing/bombing me he entire trip! Some people's blood (MINE) is supposed to attract them more than others. Because I noticed other campers were NOT impacted. Bring a skeeter hair net or repellent. I went in September , Space 41. Oh! and wild turkeys came right up to my camp space! Cool.

Restrooms are clean with toilet paper and sink. Just no paper towels (take a hand towel) Stayed from 6/19/20 to 6/21/20 and all slots were taken but everyone was respectful to each other. Ground is dirt and bit not leveled well so do be wise to where you want to place your tent. One slot can have about 2-4 tents (depending on the tent size) we have 1- 4person and 2-2 people tent ... worked out great! Will definitely be back :)
