They greeted us, performed an initial "check-in: for our Family Camp Reservation ... and Offered to have a Greeting Prayer with us - Absolutely Beautiful. This Prayer Set The Tone For The Entire Camp Stay. The Amazing Blessings that our family ended up taking home were Beyond Anything We Expected Or Imagined - A True Ephesians 3:20 Experience. The Camp Schedule, its Coordination and Execution was Tick-Tock-On-The Spot! Event after Awesome Event - they run a tight ship! The Care and Attention that each and every one of the Camp Counselors demonstrated from the very beginning was beyond Impressive -especially when the large majority were totally new to working as Camp Counselors. From the outset, at our first meal, Counselor Melanie came and sat down with us, chatting -welcoming, and incredibly Sweet! Ashley the Camp Media Star also came and sat next to us at our table. We chatted nicely, when suddenly, Ashley noticed a new family sitting at a different table... but were all alone. She mentioned this to Melanie, politely excused herself and went to make the new family feel as though they were at home and among Family! THE FOOD IS PHENOMENAL! Chef Oscar is one dedicated individual! Together with his Son Vincent, Each and Every Morning and Night they serve up A New Deliciously Tasting Meal! Raviolis, Pasta, Enchiladas, Chinese Food, Pancakes, Waffles, Biscuits And Gravy, Lasagna, On and ON!!! DELICIOUSNESS! Only someone who has to cook for a family knows how difficult of a task and feat it is to accomplish this type of tasty Variety Successfully! All Meals Were Also Vegetarian --EVEN HARDER! The attention to detail as far as Snacks And Treats for All the Campers was unparalleled! SMORES Galore, Cotton Candy, Shaved Ice, Ice Cream And Popsicles, Coffee, Fruits Yogurt and Granola... we were taken care of in quite the All-Inclusive Fashion - AMAZING! The attentiveness of the rest of the Camp Counselors cannot be dismissed. Constatly looking to Help and Clean, Zeon(sp?) from South Africa, Gabriel from PUC, Natalie in the Camp Store, the rest of the girls and our Amazing Worship Leader: Jordan. Wow...what an Amazingly Assembled Crew! The Facilities were impeccably clean and ready for our stay. The Lodge "Hotel-Like" accommodations were wonderfully prepared with clean beddings and linens, clean towels, and the necessary soaps and toiletries that were provided. The Wrap-Around Balcony was a Special Treat on the second floor, as I was able to spend some time sitting and reading my book, outside in the Quiet of the Natural Surroundings, with a Fresh Breeze Blowing while listening to the rush of the River Below and the Beautiful Songs Of The Birds Singing Above... Wow - what an Incredible Setting! Each Worship Experience outdid the ones before. As we worshipped, the Spirit of God was palpable and increasingly present. These wonderful Worships culminated in quite an Incredible Friday Evening Agape Feast, where the Staff and Pastors went All Out. They provided a wonderfully delicious candle-lit dinner preparation and feast where the evening ended with individual family prayer and devotions. Pastor Jaime Heras was our Main Speaker for the duration of our Family Camp. Interesting, Funny, Captivating and Relevant, Pastor Heras instructed, enthralled and ... Touched the hearts of every one of us! His wife Jenny joined us as well and only added to the Sweetness, Care and Kindness that they brought to the Camp experience. My two sons Absolutely Loved The Preaching of Pastor Heras, wanting more and more! Ultimately, there was a call to Baptism ... And Both of My Boys Gave Their Hearts To Christ and Were Baptized the following day at Camp! INCREDIBLE! Pastor Paulo and his Wife Ana are true Servants of Christ. They gave of themselves to the point of Total Exhaustion! Together with their two beautiful little daughters, Family Tenorio ministered to each and every one of the families in attendance that week. Was there in April to enjoy a weekend with my church family. The camp was blanketed with beautiful snow and the weather was just perfect. Stayed in the lodge which was clean and comfortable. My shower has great water pressure and plenty of hot water :) The camp has improved tremendously from when I used to go there as a teen in the 90's. Back then the food was bland and without any thought put into it. Boy has it changed...we had focaccia pizza with tomato bisque soup our first night there! Pleasantly surprised to find Vegan options are available now not just your plain vegetarian SDA options. The weekend was filled with various delicious options and I looked forward to the savory experience of every meal! Thanks to the friendly kitchen staff for taking the time to make us all feel welcomed and for placing so much love & thought into every meal. Looking forward to our next visit. So, good evening everyone. This site needs to be assessed very carefully before inviting your congregations. This camp should have been cleaned as one group leaves and the next church arrives. The cabins in its entirety were not cleaned. Trash should had been picked up from the cabins on a daily basis from the facility staff. Facility staff are in the wrong type of work, not friendly at all except the older hispanic man that seemed as if he was the only staff. The place needed a maintenance person to fix all the little things. Be mindful whoever is reading this, this place will house your child for a few days. Water stations should have been readly available, but not one was seen knowing we are in summer. Your website states,"Be ready to be part of a great experience." As a child they do not see the faults, but as a parent and a CHRISTIAN I do. Step up Cedar Falls and let's change our ATTITUDE/CHARACTER/HEART and make every group's stay an EXPERIENCE. Camp Cedar Falls is located a few miles east of the town of Angelus Oaks. I work with the Wildwood Music Camp and we rent a portion of the Cedar Falls camp for 2 weeks each summer. We have been here for about 10 summers now. The facility is always clean and the staff friendly and helpful, Though you are only 30 minutes from Redlands, Yucaipa or Big Bear you feel much more isolated. If you have a small group, there is a lodge that is pictured and a meeting room is available. This would be a great place for a small conference. Larger groups can use the cabins which are a bit rustic and really more summer camp style. They are dormitory style and showers/restrooms are located a short walk away. There is a swimming pool available for recreational use and several hiking trails are in the area. A horse stable is on the property so I assume they have riding available but our group has never used them. The food is vegetarian which is not my favorite. It is healthy and well done for what it is, but that is my reason for not giving 5 stars. read more

So... I will say it's really great to come here with a church group. Not during the summer program. The food is fairly decent and the lodge is fairly pleasant. But, for the love of Pete, DO NOT work here during the summer as a camp counselor! Go to pine springs ranch instead, PLEASE! Trust me, I'm not the only one with this opinion! The place is understaffed. You will be overwhelmed and very exhausted most days. Also, you WILL be treated like crap if you show ANY signs that you are tired. (I.e. Sitting down to rest your feet for a hot second) HUGE NO NO. Also, there are other staff that are assigned to snitch on you if they see you are somehow not up to par. Staff meetings consists of scolding sessions with various threats to be fired if your not doing something. You are constantly stressed because you have to consistently "look busy" Always have a broom or vacuum in your hand so you don't have to feel the wrath of the director. It's both a shame and awful. When I worked here a while back, we NEVER did any CPR class. Camp training is a JOKE. Your training consists of cleaning the entire camp for a week, with training thrown in when your too tired to concentrate in the evening. They don't give you gloves for you to clean the bathrooms.The camp director is incredibly racist and yet the conference does nothing to kick him out. His behavior is just horrible and disgusting. He yells at you for dumb reasons. Don't bother stating your case, it's his way or the highway. They DO NOT care for your opinion. Sad he claims to be a Christian and he's saying racist and threatening comments to his staff! I got a nasty cold the first week and was very rudely told to go home and basically not to come back. But I did come back to finish off the summer. The camp program SUCKS. If you don't have a "teaching" job. You will be doing more camp cleanup. Or you sit and watch camp and "the good counselors" do fun things with the kids. I mean, some kids think it's fun. If you are staff you will receive the short end of the stick many times. It's all just sad and miserable experience. I tried my darndest to find something positive and....there's really nothing pleasant about the experience I had. I met some nice staff members, but the camp director just made it a hellish experience for me. This place needs an understanding, patient, loving individual in charge of the program. My daughter absolutely loved Camp Cedar Falls. She went every year from Adventurer age till she became a teen and felt too old to go. She has amazing memories. My child is not outgoing in any way, she doesn't make friends easily since she's too shy, but that never stopped her from going to camp. I am so glad we have this opportunity to send our children there. Thank you Pr. Wong and all the staff who make sure our kiddos are cared for. read more

I used to come here as a teenager for ay (adventist youth) and pathfinder camp meetings. We always had a great time exploring and enjoying each other's company. From what I remember, the grounds were always well kept and the staff was always friendly. So many great memories. I can't wait to bring my son back here one day. read more

Both of my daughters - ages 8 and 10 - just got back from summer camp and are beaming ! I grew up going to ccf and it's so special to be able to share some of those same memories. They had a great time, spoke highly of the staff, and want to return next year! They enjoyed the different activities and my very picky eater wants to become vegetarian! Great camp! Love the setting! My wife and I just came back from a weekend retreat with our church and we thoroughly enjoyed the hiking trails that led us into the forest! We stayed in a hotel and the price for room and board is a great deal! The cafeteria menu is vegetarian, so for those who prefer to eat other kinds of food, bringing your own options would be helpful. The area is not too far away from Big Bear, and the drive has turnoffs for lookouts where you can beautiful pictures of the scenery! Would definitely plan for another trip again soon! read more

They offer a full service experience for campers and families. They have horses, swimming, archery and many other great activities for the kids. They rent out to other groups as well. The lodge is clean and comfortable with air conditioning and great views from the rooms. They have a couple of cute bears to! My kids always come home happy after a week or two of camp! The only thing I would love to see would be upgraded cabins, but it's camp! read more

My daughter was 8 years old when she came to this camp. She cried every single night, did not eat, barely drank and not comforted in any way. She was confronted by several counselors including her own about her constant crying. She was put down and humiliated because she wanted to come home. I was not contacted about her situation until the 5th day! By this time irreparable damage had occurred to her self esteem, trust in adults and trust in the world. I deeply regret sending my daughter to this camp. The counselors are obviously not trained properly to spot anxiety or panic in the children. My daughter is now 14 and still cannot forget the horrific experience she had at this camp. Parents beware. read more

This was my sons 1st summer camp, in fact 1st time away from any adult friends or family. I picked him & my daughter up 2days early. What my son logan told me was James, his counselor, was a total jerk. He overheard the pastor upset with james. Later, he and other boys were asked to step outside their cabin as another counselor confronted james about his attitude with the boys, as james threatened the other counselor saying "I am someone you dont want to mess with." They were yelling at each other. My son was in tears 3 times the 4nights he was there. Then when they did get another counselor the boy's heard him crying all night. Who wants to spend their vacation like THIS?! Seems the camp has day visitors and our kids watch and wait at least 10min, while the day visortors eat first. Are our kids not visitors as well? Then picking them up i saw group of people playing with a net and balls in the field having a great time, but unfortunately, that too was only for the day guests. Y'all need to provide some balls and nets for the kids! Really, all aside from the counselors could be forgiven, but kids away from home on their summer vacation being exposed to fighting amongst employees is UNACCEPTABLE! For goodness sake, PLEASE HIRE PEOPLE, that WANT to make summer camp a fun memory for our youth. read more
