Service was quick and the place is cute. I do think it's too hot in fl to leave the doors to your restaurant open and there were some flies flying around. They have lots of options and the food was tasty. I got a spritz which was good albeit they did bring me the wrong one. I ordered the yuzu but got the strawberry. Sweet and tasty. We ordered a half order of cinnamon donuts. Tasty hot and went well with the cinnamon. One of us got the sammich and I got the southern Arnold. Both hot fresh and. The gravy also had good flavor. Eggs cooked well a ton of food so sharing is totally possible also. I would def go back and try new things.

Food is excellent, service was terrible. Had to ask for things multiple times, food came out in waves and not all together with items still missing. We had young kids in our group that were hungry and ordered for them first but somehow the adult meals came out before the kids. The restaurant is super cute and fun environment for brunch but hoping the next time we visit, service is more on top of things.

Husband absolutely loved his fried chicken Benedict. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, the gravy was good, the eggs were perfect. My brisket scramble was just ok. About half was left on the table. The biscuit is dry but is great with gravy. The cheesy grits were great while they were hot. We also tried a mimosa and a spiked cold brew. I couldn't tell there was vodka in the cold brew, so it could have just been coffee, but it was good. We liked that there are options for the mimosa juice. Husband got pineapple for one and apple for the other and loved them. The service was kind of slow but not horrible. We went on. Sunday morning and there were a ton of jags fans getting fueled up before the game. Music was light and fun.

I enjoyed my breakfast at The Toasted Yolk Cafe. I was pleasantly surprised to find this place in the Baymeadows areas. I'm not sure how long it's been open, but the inside looked newly renovated. The color of the inside is pretty fun. They really took it to another level with the color green throughout the inside. They really should consider adding a green eggs and ham dish to the menu lol. Moving on, the breakfast was really lovely. The pancakes were slightly sweet which I loved. I didn't have to use syrup. The grits and omelet were also good. The grits had a unique taste I couldn't exactly figure out, but they were pretty good. Maybe it was the cheese. For a Saturday, there was no long wait time if you wanted to brunch inside. This time I took my food to go, but I would like to come back and maybe enjoy some other items on the menu.

A had some free time in between errands so I decided to come here for some brunch. I got here within the noon o'clock hour and the place was pretty lively. The servers all wear lime green or pink shirts and even though it wasn't that busy inside they were all over the place. Since it was just me I sat at the bar. Looks like they have looks like the have a full bar with beer, wine, liquor, etc. Several servers checked in on me as they were helping others before they came to take my order. I ordered their Sangria to start which was was the Spanish Sangria in the orange-labeled bottle with extra fruit. I wanted the Yolkwich but I decided to get the Alaskan Arnold (Two English muffin halves topped with salmon, spinach, two poached eggs, and Hollandaise sauce) with grits. More protein. One of the servers brought me my check already before my food came out. She said "No rush, it's just a requirement". It bothered me at first but I get it. The Alaskan Arnold came out and it looked delicious. It was sitting up pretty high on the english muffins due to the salmon pieces and they used more sauce than what I'm used to but I was fine with that. It was perfect! the salmon was cooked all the way through and the egg was yolky. Definitely satisfying.

Shrimp and grits were great! That is what I had My friend said cowboy scramble was 3.5 stars Other two friends had burritos and said they were 3 and 4 stars. It's Sunday and they had tvs for football which was nice! Ambiance on a Sunday morning was great not the church crowd. Service was fine, the auction off plates which was kind of annoying but not gonna knock points off because service was good!

Service was good. Great menu. Good coffee. We had French toast and egg in a nest sandwich which were both great. Nice staff. Super casual and lots of kids. Not a high end place but good food and we will go back!

Exceptional...all of it! We had the southern fried Arnold, the brisket scramble and a couple of pancakes. Our favorites by far were the scramble and the hash brown casserole! Caroline was our server and she was phenomenal! She was very attentive and offered great suggestions. We will definitely be back! A+++

Love love love this restaurant. We went to a location in Biloxi Mississippi and was so happy they opened one up near us. Best bloody Mary and food is always fresh and yummy. Can not go wrong with anything on the menu.

When I walked it I was immediately welcomed by the manager Tyler! I sat at the bar, and I ordered the Yolkwich, I did avocado instead of tomato! And Tyler made me a Carmel macchiato which you recommended. And it was absolutely delicious. My sandwich was very good too. It's very vibrant and open in here. I would definitely go back with the group of my friends. I would recommend this place to anyone. It was very delicious and I feel like Well well priced for the amount of food you got.

We had a reservation, were given a choice to sit inside or outside and were seated inside immediately. The interior is both rustic and elegant at the same time with bold wood and brick accents. It's a really nice environment. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and informative. I ordered the chicken and waffles. It was good but maybe not the best brunch choice. It just wasn't executed as well as I've had in some other places. It's designed to come with fried eggs right on top of the waffles. It also comes with gravy. The waffle and the gravy...impeccable. Fantastic gravy. The eggs were cooked very well. The chicken tenders were a bit bland and dry, the syrup almost a bit bitter. There are some home runs at Whiskey Cake, there are some items that are just OK. I'll be back, I just don't think I'll order the chicken and waffles again. I do recommend you try this place if you're in the town center though.

I ended up ordering a hodge podge of breakfast items: eggs over medium, hash browns, cheese grits, a waffle, and a blueberry muffin split and grilled. My mom got an egg sandwich with grits and vegetarian sausage (yay!). Our food came pretty quickly, and I hoovered up everything on my plate. Everything tasted the way you'd expect: just good breakfast food. The hash browns had a crisp top, which is vital for me. The malted waffle stood out the most; I could smell it the second our server walked out of the kitchen with it and I ate the whole thing, even though I frequently split a waffle and take half home for later. The muffin was good, but a special shoutout for the option to have it split, buttered, and lightly grilled. I immediately requested my mom start trying that with her own blueberry muffins next time I'm over. It's a little pricey, but what isn't these days? It sure hit the spot.

As all Grumpy's, the menu is full of American classics. My daughter and I had a short-stack. I couldn't resist adding the Roasted Turkey plate. My drink choice was hot chocolate. I knew something was OFF when I received the hot chocolate..."where's the chocolate drizzle? why does it taste like it's water based?" The waiter let me know it's the waiters choice on how it is served. *INSERT EYE ROLL* When the meal came it was easy to see the Turkey plate was MISSING items and looked like it had been sitting (I mean sitting gravy has look of non-movement). The waiter tried to COMFORT me by saying it was under a warm plate but after I questioned where were the cranberries and stuffing...she then responded with an OH! Tart and tangy up front followed by a whole lot of savory. Course 5, my favorite, was the Spicy Curry Chicken served with White Rice. This was the dish that made me fall in love with Fast Eddy's food and had me coming back for more. I took a couple bites and got a to-go container to enjoy this later at home. Finally, we reached the end of our dinner and Course 6, dessert, came out. Freshly made, sweet and decadent, traditional baklava. Filo dough, crushed walnuts, butter, and honey. This just melted away once it hit my mouth. I don't eat a whole lot of sweets but this had me closing my eyes and enjoying every bite. Every time I've visited Fast Eddy's the staff has been amazing, friendly, and hospitable. And of course, the place being completely decked out with rock and metal music memorabilia, i feel right at home here. Oh, and there's never a time where I leave that place without an order of the Pasta Anatoli to-go!
