    Bacon, egg and cheese bagel.
    Cortni J.

This was my first ever visit to any Einstein Bros Bagels, so I was pretty excited. The staff was great from start to finish, and I quickly got my order. My bacon, egg and cheese was made fresh on a bagel of my choice instead of the plain bagel. It increased the price $3. To make it a combo would have been another $4. I added cream cheese and unfortunately I didn't get it. I'll assume those are just a few hiccups that come with a new store location. But overall my bagel was good. I wouldn't mind coming back. You do have the option to dine in or just place a pickup order.

If you do happen to visit during this timeframe, just be mindful that it utilizes the more limited brunch menu. More on that in a bit. Staff greeted me upon entering the building and said I could sit anywhere. Seeing as I was alone today, I elected to sit at the bar for some faster service. The bartender seemed to favor the regulars there and it was about 10 minutes before I received a menu despite not being all that busy. Eventually I was able to put in my order for a draft beer and a Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich. Surprisingly, the sandwich doesn't include a side of any kind at the price point of $15 even though handhelds and burgers on the regular menu do include sides. I inquired about purchasing fries, but was told that they were unavailable for the brunch period. There wasn't much else available that wasn't more of a breakfast food aside from hummus or tapas. The sandwich came out in a reasonable amount of time from when it was ordered. While tasty with a combination of sweet, salty, and savory from the ham, chicken, and swiss, I thought it could have been better given the price. The value was just not there without a side. I'd consider coming back for their normal menu period, but don't think I'd return for brunch.

People were coming out quickly but no one was ever taken in. 45 minutes later our table was called only to find the table hadn't been cleaned or set. Enter server, who had never seen a smile before apparently. We got drinks taken but needed time to decide. That was the last time we saw her until I asked another server to finally order. We did order but the food was not good at all; swimming in grease. Getting a drink refill was near impossible with yet another different server having to do that. After the meal a fourth person had to bring boxes and a to go bag. Our original server, who did nothing, finally brought the check. I understand weekends are busy, however, there was ZERO interest in us or our patronage. Couple it with the blessing out the cook was getting from a "manager" in the kitchen I'll be giving this place a hard pass for a while. It definitely did not live up to my previous experience. As for ambiance I can honestly say there was none. If you want alcohol for breakfast it might be the right spot because all the service happened at the bar.

The doughnuts were complimentary because I joined the customer rewards program. I noticed how loud it was in the restaurant. There were several families there with multiple children. Between the patrons and music, I could not hear my friend Lisa. There menu did not have want I wanted, so I ordered individually: bacon, one fried egg, hash brown casserole , great cheese grits, cold biscuit, & coffee. The regular coffee was so-so. Everything came out pretty cold or lukewarm. My egg was missing. I had to ask about my egg and the nice Waiter brought it out fast. The hash brown casserole was mushy. The best item was the bacon. I hate to give reviews like this, but I have to honest about my visit. I do give the Waiter credit, he was pretty good, but very busy. Pros:plenty of parking, tasty bacon & Waiter. Cons: everything was warm or cold, very loud(high ceilings). Recommend? Maybe, yes for the younger crowds. My bill was over $23.00 and then a tip. I would be willing to return and try something else and update my review.

I had a plum cinnamon tea which was also great and hit the spot on a rainy day. The WiFi connected but wouldn't open any pages except google, so that was a bummer. I'd love to see for-here food come in an actual plate or bowl. The bowl mine came in had all the egg & sausage on the bottom, so you ate grits first then everything else. Still, I'd come back and try more things. I also tried the chocolate banana thing (muffin? Donut? Cupcake.) and found it pretty disappointing. The cake part itself is good, very moist. Too moist to be a donut or a muffin, so it must be a cupcake, which is weird considering the shape. The icing was awful. It's so overpoweringly sweet it doesn't taste like chocolate or banana, just sugar. If you don't scrape it off, it makes the whole thing way too sweet.
