I found this place to be expensive for what it was and already a little gross feeling despite being new. When we arrived, there was no one at the registration area so we had to find a bartender to help us. My husband and I went on a Sunday and it wasn't too crowded, but each of the three courses is in a single, large room. Sometimes you bumped elbows with the person at the hole next to you and it's so tight, there's nowhere to wait for those in front of you without being in the way. We played two courses and one had holes that were more gimmicks than actual mini-golf - sticking your ball in a hole for a plinko-like game, putting it in a weird wooden contraption, etc. If you want to do it for the 'gram, go ahead, but there are other, far-superior mini-golf options in Houston. Absolutely amazing experience here! Very welcoming when we arrived. Gave us a clear overview of how everything worked and tips on the courses. Had the wings, pizza, and queso. Everything was delicious and the chef came out and talked with us about the operation. The music throughout the time was great and inviting. Probably one of the best miniature golf spots in Houston & I've been to a few. The music was great. Customer service was great. Loved how interactive each hole was. We didn't eat here this go round but the food smelled great & looked fresh. Highly recommend for a date night or girls night out. They have small karaoke rooms as well that looked like a lot of fun. Came Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. They do not abide by the "no kids" after 8 policy. I purposefully waited to arrive at 8pm only to still have to deal with unruly children playing hide n seek in the golfing area and one kid walking in circles around his parent's table in the restaurant area. Would've been cool but feeling like I was at celebration station and being told by staff that their manager said that they'll be 'laxed on that rule bc it was a holiday weekend was a HUGE turn off. I wish that I'd read some of the negative reviews before going. We booked first thing in the morning to go with our young child. When we arrived it was empty and the music was so loud we couldn't hear one another speak. We asked several employees if the music could be turned down and they said they'd ask the manager but nothing changed. When we finally spoke to the manager he suggested we move to a course further away from the speaker as they were unwilling or unable to turn down the music. The music was also often explicit and we saw alcoholic beverages (presumably not cleaned up from the night before) out on the games where anyone could grab them. We came opening weekend. I try to have a lot of patience while a new place works out the kinks. The concept of this miniature golf place (90's themed) is really cool. Certain drinks that we ordered came in really cute cups (can't take them home). Food wasn't too shabby (brisket fries). Was charged $75for two drinks - was charged $18 a shot for a Casamigos double shot mixed drink Marg and they charged me an additional $6 (margarita charge?). $42 - my wife wanted a strawberry margarita $14 (Did not want wells tequila so we got her Casamigos blanco) $16 charge..ok +$3 for a margarita charge Overall $19 We didn't want to be rude so tipped 15% around $9 +tax Overall - $75 for 2 drinks Golf was a lot of fun but the walls and cleanliness of the courses and clubs/balls were very dirty and grimy Will not be coming back read more

The mini golfing was 10/10. The food and service was horrible. My drink did not come first it arrived at the end of my meal. I ordered wings and were undercooked I didn't realize until I finished the wing I hope we don't get food poisoning. The water never checked on us we always had to get the waiters attention. The vibe of Holey Moley was "cute" and not in a condescending way. The atmosphere was nice and I went during the hours that it was not only 21+. The person who checked us in was thorough in the information they provided and detailed enough that we did not have any additional questions throughout the experience. The only thing left to desire was the electronic scoring that Puttery has to offer in the area. You score on a paper scoring form which isn't the most ideal for people unfamiliar with mini golf or golf in general. This place is such a gimmick. Over crowded. Not enough space to play. Too many people to even move around. The layout of the course is so cramped and poorly done even if it wasn't crowded it wouldn't make for a good game. I'll never go back. I came here last night(Wednesday) for a date night with my boyfriend! We were excited the moment we stepped inside! There is so much to look at and so many fun colors! There were 3 different sections to putt through each being different themes! I personally love that they keep the og handwritten score cards! I'm not a fan of the electronic ones. Those are no fun! We were greeted by a sweet sweet girl, Dominique! She was very attentive and she even played a game with us! I had to toss a rubber duck into the cup and I did! I won a free round of mini golf! How fun! There were also "caddy games" hosted by Simon and he was so entertaining! We played a flamingo game to win prizes! My boyfriend and I actually both won a round, so we both got a house drink on the house! How COOL! They have really fun adult drinks serviced by awesome bartenders. Travis, specifically made our experience amazing! He chatted with us, made sure our area was clean for all my pictures, and truly cared about us and our happiness! They have strong drinks, we felt loosey goosey after one lol! They did not disappoint! They have nice bar meals as well! My boyfriend devoured his chicken sandwich and part of my brisket sandwich lol! The store manager, Lisa, was wonderful as well! We chatted for a bit and we learned about some new things in the works! She even gave us mini golf passes to come back! How generous was that! We will 100% come back and we will be looking for our favorite employees! Beware, if you call in do not trust anything they say! They will say anything to get you to book and not uphold what was confirmer! Happened TWICE with 2 different employees/managers in regards to cancellation policy when booking in advance, and were told TWICE in advance we would receive a refund for members of our party who were sick. For them to acknowledge the conversation upon arrival and saying "yeah we aren't going to do that." We had never been to Holey Moley before and called in to ask questions before booking a large party (12 people). We spoke to someone Sunday 4/21 in regards to booking for that next Saturday 4/27. Being that it is a large party and you have to pay in advance for everyone, we wanted to verify cancellation and refund policy. The caddy associate who answered had no clue on policy and put me on hold to ask the manager. I was informed we had TWO options, in house credit or refund, but was told it would take up to 5 business days because it is an Australian company. We were going to hold off on booking until later in week, depending on policy, so we went ahead and booked then based off conversation the manager confirmed. Flash forward to conversation Friday, after half of the party came down with a nasty stomach bug and could no longer attend. Called in and was told by Dominique their policy was no refunds. Which was the exact opposite of prior conversation a manager relayed, so she got her manager Brittney and after discussing with a 2nd manager it was confirmed they would honor what we were told upon booking. They were making notes in our reservation and we just had to ask for manager upon arrival and they would process the refund. Tonight upon arrival, they refused to process a refund and only provided a credit for our 7 members who couldn't attend. After two separate conversations with different 2 different caddy associates and a manager confirming both times they would. We feel absolutely taken advantage of and played for them saying whatever they needed to in order for us to book for a large party in advance. Just ensure they got the money regardless.
