Our department hosted an event here couple days ago and we had fun playing mini golf. The place has 3 courts of 9 holes. It was decent. Staffs are friendly .

If you need a place to go for an evening full of activities, Holey Moley is a good choice. It's a one stop shop for mini golf, karaoke, food, and arcade games! That being said, none of these individual experiences could stand alone as worthwhile. The mini golf is fun, but the courses aren't particularly inspired. There are better indoor mini golf places available in Houston. The karaoke was pretty standard. Our group of about 10 rented a private room. Great song selection, and two mics to pass around. However, the room was too warm and we'd have to step out to get some fresh air. If you're planning to order food in the karaoke room, there's not a ton of table space either. Speaking of food, they offer standard fare for these types of places - sandwiches, pizza, nachos, etc. It's all serviceable but nothing exceptional. They also have a selection of drinks (although they were out of ingredients for the drink I wanted). Parking isn't great either. We ended up parking a long walk away on a neighboring street. Overall, there's nothing impressive going on here. If you're just looking for mini golf, or for karaoke, or for food, there are better options. But if you just want a single location to organize a night of activities, Holey Moley is a good choice!

December 11, 2024: We had such a great time here! It was our first visit, and I made a reservation through their website, super easy to navigate. I wasn't sure if they allowed walk-ins, but they do. Our booking was for one hour, covering 18 holes (2 course) Upon arrival, the staff gave us a quick orientation and we jumped right into the game. We ordered three drinks, a beer and two cocktails, honestly, I forgot the exact names, but I'll update this review once I remember. The music was a little loud for my taste. At the bar, they checked in on us just enough while still giving us space to enjoy the experience. That said, I expected the drinks to be a bit better, especially considering all the hype. We will be back to try Course 3!

Great ambiance, was fun for the whole family. We were able to grab some food after playing. We even got to have a magic show at our table from Alex Rangel, which was really entertaining and so fun. Great way to end the night. Highly recommend this place as a date night, family night, or outing with friends... we'll be back!

Great place for groups, families and couples. Creative drinks and backdrops for multiple photo op opportunities and social media post. Food options available and private events.

We had a great time playing mini golf and it was fun and I'm highly recommending y'all to try this and they have arcade and karaoke too which we will try next time. #HoleyMoleyHouston @holeymoleyhouston #buzzybooth

This was my second time visiting Holey Moley and i had an amazing time. The courses were very cool and interactive. My only complaint would be traffic control waiting to putt the next course or having to hurry because people are waiting behind me. Otherwise, prices are reasonable, staff was very nice and it was overall a great environment. #HoleyMoleyHouston @holeymoleyhouston #buzzybooth

We had so much fun here! The bar had good food and drinks. The courses, while kind of squished up in different areas, had fun themes and were nicely crafted. I would absolutely come back!

First time coming here and it was amazing we went just to take my mother in law out and have some fun since it was her birthday it was really fun and she enjoyed her self, I love that it has different courses and different themes, will most definitely be back soon for a date night with my wife !! #HoleyMoleyHouston @holeymoleyhouston #buzzybooth

What a fun place! We went and celebrated a birthday with all of the photo opportunities. Parking is a bit difficult if you go during prime entertainment hours, but it was worth it!

Fun but short. Better than the other putt putt places in town. Themed drinks that were fun and entertaining.

From the moment we interacted with her, she was kind, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had an amazing experience. During our first visit, we experienced an issue due to a system error. Instead of brushing it off, Layla immediately stepped in, helped resolve the situation, and provided me with all the information I needed to receive a refund. She turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a positive one with her professionalism, patience, and genuine care. In fact, Layla's exceptional customer service is the reason we came back the very next weekend. Employees like her are hard to find, and she truly made us feel valued as guests. While I thought the food was a bit mediocre and some of the other employees weren't as friendly or engaging, Layla completely changed the overall experience. Her positive attitude, professionalism, and dedication to outstanding customer service deserve to be recognized. Thank you, Layla, for going above and beyond. Puttshack is incredibly lucky to have you!

We loved all the challenging holes. The decor was colorful. The food was amazing! I loved the Texas Tailpipes, Korean BBQ Bao Buns, and Atlanta Hot Sandwich. I will say the table reservation was interesting. They have a lot of tables labeled reserved but no one is sitting there. I tried to ask a waitress about my table and said you have to reserve one and ran away. She didn't even let me finish my sentence. I asked another waitress and she listened to me and found my reservation and apologized for the other waitress' behavior. The manager did come by to give us some great service so we ended the night on a good note.

Due to traffic we ended up arriving closer to 6:30 pm but it was no problem. Because it was a Tuesday, the crowds were light. I bet it can get crowded on the weekends because it's such a cool place. We got our wrist bands and proceeded upstairs where there is a lot of restaurant seating and a bar. We decided to eat before playing and that ended up being a great decision. The food and drink were quite good! I had a Sam Adams IPA draft - perfect! The elote corn ribs, spring rolls, tuna with crispy rice, and short rib pizza were all excellent! The waitress recommended the elote corn and short rib pizza so we went with those plus a few other options. Temperature and texture and flavor of all the food items were on point. Now on to mini golf. The place has two sets of 9 hole areas. The holes get progressively harder. You keep score via an iPad at each hole. Overall, the most impressive part was the decor. It's obvious they spent a lot of money on the decor (and the place is just huge) and they've maintained the place quite well so far. Now you're probably thinking "fun place off Washington? I bet parking sucks." There is actually a huge parking just north of the Puttery building and the parking is validated by Puttery! It's like a dream come true. :) If you're looking for a fun date place or a group hang out, check this place out!

However, at 4:54 PM on the same day, I received a call from Alex informing me that our reservation had been canceled because someone had just booked the entire venue. We were simply told that we would need to reschedule or refund. Canceling confirmed reservations just hours before our scheduled time is unacceptable. It sends the message that if a larger-paying customer comes along, existing customers can simply be pushed aside. Unfortunately, it made us feel like Puttery values money and VIP status over honoring commitments to everyday working people who also spend their hard-earned money. We planned our evening around this reservation, and the last-minute cancellation was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I understand that private events happen, but businesses should honor existing reservations or have policies in place that don't leave customers scrambling at the last minute. This experience has left a very negative impression, and I hope Puttery reevaluates how it treats customers whose reservations are already confirmed.

That would've been fine--except the 40 minutes turned into a full hour. We ended up stuck behind a large 6‑year‑old's birthday party, even though the course itself only had about four people actually playing. Instead of letting us play through or staggering groups, they just had us stand around waiting with no explanation. When we started to play golf, they handed us gaming cards for the arcade, which was very confusing why didn't they give it to us in the beginning so we had something to do, but we didn't come for the arcade, and we weren't doing anything--they just didn't manage the flow well at all. A few positives: the bathrooms were clean, and the place itself is visually fun. But be aware there's no real food available--just tiny bags of chips--and no alcohol. The only drinks for sale are canned sodas. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and not worth the hassle. If you're planning to go on a weekend, especially with a Groupon, I'd say it's not worth the discounts.
