3rd floor, double queen. Very spacious

Enjoyed a nice 3-night stay here recently and there's a lot to like about this hotel. Rooms were clean and surprisingly larger than expected, staff was friendly and professional, and the breakfast buffet was fully stocked (the pancake machine actually worked ;). The location is nice, located near the Mills mall and some fast food options. As for the not-so-good, there is quite a bit of road noise due to its proximity to the freeway, so earplugs are recommended. The pool and jacuzzi situation was a bit sketch too, so there's definitely room for some maintenance improvement there. As for any hotel, you'll have your share of rowdy patrons- and this place is no exception. All in all, an above average 4-star hotel in the HIE lineup.

Lets start with the good... the rooms were clean and staff was really nice and friendly also the breakfast was cool the there were plenty of food options even for non meat eaters! I would have loved to give this place 4 stars but the ants were OUT OF CONTROL. I called before I booked to see if the pool was open and operational and they told me yes so I was excited. However once I got my swimsuit on and got downstairs the ants were ridiculous I couldn't even have a good time I was to busy fighting ants off. Kinda ruined the stay because I was looking forward to the pool but all in all it was a nice trip!

We stayed here for one night after driving from Sedona to be close to the airport before flying out. Pros: Room was spacious and clean; Microwave and refrigerator in the room; Friendly staff; Check in was fast and easy; Close to some restaurants and a shopping center; Lots of storage space: closet, drawers, hanging hooks; Cons: Traffic is noise especially if you have loud car's with those huge mufflers.

This hotel is in a location that makes it very convenient to reach almost everywhere in Tempe. Lovvved the room! Room was very clean. Very spacious. Comfy king bed. Service check in & out was fine. Didn't use the pool or free breakfast. But to honest my room was a lot better than I expected from a holiday inn!!

I came here for a really large work party and the best way to describe the ambiance was a nice wedding reception without a wedding. We had beautifully decorated tables with assigned seats, fun music, a bar, and photo ops. The drinks were good - in my opinion they were pretty standard event cocktails. Definitely tasty, but not craft cocktail level drinks. When it came time to eat and we all went through the buffet, I had pretty low expectations since it is a buffet to feed over 100 people. I have to say though, the food was really and truly wonderful. Best event food I've had hands down. Overall if you're looking for a fun place for your next large party this is a great option. I'd be happy to have a reason to go back!

I got the two queen's beds. It doesn't come with a box spring but the bed is comfortable enough. The Front Desk Agent was very helpful and kind to us upon check in. Parking was $15.00 per night. The room was clean and spacious. A/C was blasting ice cold. The only downside about the Moxy here in Tempe is that it is an old, outdated property. The hallways do have that old motel smell to it, and they were fixing certain things in the hallways. It doesn't have a minibar or refrigerator and if you need ice, you'd have to get that at the bar. For the price I paid, it was worth it. If it is during peak season, then probably would not be worth it.

It's hard to list out all the reasons I love Mini Social: the event space itself, the customization that's possible, the location in Old Town Scottsdale, the kitchen, the storage space in the back, the lighting, 2 bathrooms inside, and all the options with the furniture (tables, chairs, couch, coffee table, etc) are all 10/10. Beyond this though, the team behind Mini Social is what stands out at the top of my list - they are truly so unmatched. You won't meet people more committed to making your event magical. While many people use Mini Social for private parties, baby showers, bridal showers, birthdays, corporate events, etc, my experience has been with hosting craft socials for women's community events. I felt so supported by the team and got so much help from them in customizing the setup for my needs, plenty of time for setup and cleanup, and epic communication. They are absolute pros! Jessica is super talented when it comes to design elements, florals, balloons, etc. I feel like planning and hosting events can be so stressful and there are so many moving elements. It can be hard to let go of control or certain aspects in planning - but Luke & Jessica make it so easy and operate like your teammates. Cannnnnot wait to host another event here!

The music was awesome and overall I had a great time, I would have given 5 stars if everything was cool, except not everything was cool. Main issue I have with the venue is lack of restrooms for that many people. There has to be more access to restrooms with people drinking and dancing and partying. The line for both inside and outside toilets was insane... I heard so many people commenting about the situation. Maybe next time, more porta potties outside so 1) there are more options and less lines, and 2) the ones that are available aren't so disgusting. I've used many porta johns at many festivals, for this size venue the 3 they had outside (without leaving the show) were gross. I literally could not touch anything in there. Just hover and pee. They had 2 more when you leave but there were no ins/outs so those weren't an option. This can be done better, I know cause I've been to places where taking care of peoples basic needs are more attended to. Anyway, otherwise great time. Not the most comfortable chairs but bearable for the hour performance. There's exposed wood on the ceiling which adds to the aesthetic. During the event I attended, there were bars both inside the main area and out (no food though) as well as bathrooms both inside the main area and out.
