I just became aware of Holiday Warehouse a few days ago when I also heard that they are closing and that everything is 75% off. I went there on Friday and it's tragic that they're closing because it's a great store! The selection of Christmas decorations is excellent! They have a lot of ornaments in discern themes and colors, and Christmas trees and lights. They also have a number of spring/Easter items right now. And again, everything is 75% off! I got a super cute ruffle Christmas stocking, cute multicolor ribbon, an iridescent door tassle curtain, and 6 matching iridescent tinsle hangings. My total was about $40 with the stocking being the most expensive item at $16. I highly recommend checking out the sale, especially if you're looking for good quality ornaments or party placing decor. Fingers crossed, they change their minds and stay open! read more

This store is definitely a sight to see! They have decorations in all colors and styles, and very unique chairs and furniture as I posted. I liked and appreciated the sizes of all the ornaments. You certainly can't miss seeing them. I have to give this store a 3.5 rating because their prices are outrageously high. I saw items run in the thousands. The term warehouse in their name is a bit misleading because their prices don't reflect warehouse prices. Absurd prices. I'm blown away by sticker shock and I just can't imagine anyone purchasing Christmas decor here when comparable products can be found at others stores, not to mention online. But price aside, I expected a larger variety of products!! Did I come at a weird, in between season time?! The name led me to believe it'd be a one stop shop for Christmas decor (ie stockings, signage, candles, accessories, ornaments) but it wasn't that- it's spotty and mostly jumbo decorations and seems to cater to maybe a commercial crowd vs retail consumer. What I mean by that is if I was tasked to decorate a giant tree for a hotel lobby then I'd find what I need here. But ya the target audience was confusing. The majority of the ornaments where oversized. I'm confused by this place. I came in for Christmas stockings and they didn't have any so I looked at ornaments and left :/ *edit- they state outright on the business info that they are "aspirational" and "decidedly upscale" so I'll give them that for owning it. Holiday Warehouse is jam packed with a huge assortment of Christmas decorations, trees, garland, etc.... It is wondrous to walk through and quote beautiful. If you are in need of very large ornaments for outside, this is your place. They had jingle bells as large as bowling balls, for example. Massive icicles and lollypops, etc... The reason for only 4 stars are the prices which are super high. $1000 for a fake Christmas tree. $80 for a fake topiary in a bucket. Wreaths for $400 and up. If you have any imagination at all, you could go to Hobby Lobby or Michaels and recreate most of these looks for a fraction of the price. read more

High prices for most items, even with 50+% off. There was one item I was considering. It was broken in a few spots and a piece was completely missing. They only offered 5% off. I have to say, I did love chatting with the floor staff. They were very personable, helpful and kind. The two ladies behind the counter though, not so much. Also, online it says they're open until 6 pm. They're actually only open until 5 pm. I drove 30 minutes and arrived at 4:30 and again, the ladies behind the counter seemed annoyed. So heads up. Love this place. We bought a pre-lit tree here and lots of ornaments including some really cool oversized ones. We actually ended up going back and getting more of the oversized ball ornaments because we thought they looked amazing on our tree. The tree was super easy to get and they put the box in our car for us. It also came with a 3 year guarantee which hopefully we won't need, but it is nice to have. I like that they have everything in one place and the guys that helped us pick out our tree and the folks that put it in our car were all super friendly and nice. read more

This was my first visit to the Holiday Warehouse in Plano following a first time visit to the Decorator's Warehouse (largest Christmas store in Texas) in Arlington. I very much enjoyed the Holiday Warehouse as the store isn't huge, just the right size to not become overstimulated or overwhelmed, most of the products were of quality and not overpriced -- plus it was not overcrowded with patrons during this COVID pandemic post-Thanksgiving (Black Friday Weekend). I love that they carry Kurt Adler Christmas decorations (sold at half the price compared Amazon - gum drop string garland sold at $12.99 but listed on Amazon for $24.62) and have a fantastic ribbon selection for any occasion. This store actually carries glass ornaments and not all cheap plastic/styrofoam. The only downside I observed was the Christmas string light section, which didn't offer many options. Also, the line may look long to checkout but it moves quickly and they wrap all breakables very securely. The Decorator's Warehouse in Arlington is huge, was overpacked with patrons (when I visited - 2 weeks before Thanksgiving) the quality of their products were cheap (all plastic ornaments) and multiple cashiers took a long time. I very much preferred my Christmas decor shopping experience at Holiday Warehouse. read more

I find it extremely odd that they would turn off their online store so they could focus on IN-PERSON shopping during a worldwide pandemic. Terrible decision on their behalf and saved me a 1hr+ drive. Maybe next year, if they figure out how to run a business. All their stuff is overpriced anyways. You can find the exact same stuff for much less online or Amazon. The ONLY PROBLEM we experience was that they definitely did not have the heater running. It was freezing inside. Honestly it was warmer outside with the help of the sun than it was inside. I had to put my gloves on just be comfortable. This place has 30,000 sq ft. Of beautiful decor and arrangements for Christmas! Especially in the entrance you can do an all white Christmas and find everything you need here. We saw FROSTED mountain Fir tree online for $1,199.99 and when we got to the store, it was not what the picture showed, it was very LIGHTLY flocked. So we kept looking around and the spotted the perfect tree for half of what we originally wanted to get. Zack was very helpful/friendly/knowledgeable about the different types and specifications. So we decided to get a 9footer flocked tree LUMIN TUNE Sound detecting tech with dual color lights, 8 functions and remote control. We were quite happy with our final selection so we had Zack write off our ticket and we continued to look around. It got so cold that I forgot to check in and did not redeemed my 10% OFF from yelp. So after we drove to the back for our tree pick up, we decided to go back in and spoke with a sales representative and explained what happened, she called manager on the phone and was able to put back the 10% off our purchase to my card. I saved $57.99 yaaaaaay me! This is a beautiful warehouse with super extra extravagant holiday decor, there was items from $10.00 all the way up to $30,000.00 so they definitely have something for everyones taste. The only reason I ranked it a 4 Stars instead of 5 stars, was the uncomfortable temperature inside the store. read more

Over the past two years, My mom and I have purchased over 10K of holiday decorations from Holiday Warehouse. They have unique Christmas decor, but it can be very pricey. However, my mom and I love Christmas, so we usually splurge on decorations. Throughout these last two years, I have seen so many unhappy customers in arguments with employees and managers. Instead of the store talking kindly, they we very belittling and rude, and made no attempt for a solution. These arguments were always in front of other customers, which seemed very inappropriate. I tried to look past it, but I should of known better, especially when it happened to me today. I walk in wearing a mask. The first tree I see , another lady and I ask abt the lights on it. I couldn't understand the manager because of the mask, so I pulled mine down to talk back, (note I'm 6 feet away from anyone.) She immediately tries to embarrass me saying you need to pull up your mask. I explained I couldn't understand her, so she probably couldn't understand me. I was unnerved, but let it go. While I was on the other side of the store, the mask fell below my nose while I was browsing, no one was anywhere near me and my hands were full. However the same manager made it a point to seek me out and proceed to talk to me like a child, saying I need to put it back over my nose because I could harm everyone in the store . After that, I was done. Wondering this whole time if she would have reacted the same way if I wasn't wearing a Trump shirt or does she thrive on power or act that way because of her great virtue. I am not the type of person that thinks I should receive special treatment because I have shopped there before, but I am the type of person that believes in a stores who appreciates their customers instead of talking to them like they are dogs. There is no place for a business that believes it is okay to, bully, belittle, and flat out disrespect people. I have no doubt there will continue to be a decline of customers. I believe in supporting small business and despite their prices being considerably more expensive then other stores (and Amazon) I wanted to continue to support local. This is one place I have crossed off my family's list of places we will support. There are plenty of other stores with better prices and customer service for Christmas decorations. read more

Holiday warehouse does not provide service to people who are unable to wear a mask. I was told to put on a mask by 2 extremely young employees and when I explained that I had a health exemption they told me they did not allow for exemptions of any kind. I have shopped here every year for my Christmas decor but I walked out and will NEVER shop here again. read more

If you can pay the price, then definitely this is the place that you want to hit up for Christmas decorations. Everything they have there is pretty unique and one of a kind. I went with my Mom & we had trouble locating a few items, but I didn't have an issue with finding an employee to assist us & that is a HUGE positive in my opinion. I HATE having to walk around a store looking for an employee when I need help. The staff seems very knowledgeable in the sense that we were looking for a tree topper & they didn't have the type of item my Mom wanted but was able to suggest alternatives so that was helpful. This should be one star. Raging disappointment! Please go here for some ideas but DO NOT SPEND A PENNY! You WILL find the same items at Hobby Lobby for nearly pennies. We spent over $700 dollars for a small basket of trinkets, then weeks later went to Hobby Lobby to complete Christmas decoration purchases and noticed the same exact items for a fraction of the cost for example. We paid $48 dollars per decoration at this place saw the same decorations at Hobby Lobby for $5 dollars. Add to that most of what we purchased was broken when we got it home and removed it from the packaging, as if the packaging and the items were "old", maybe they sat on a shipping doc in China for years before getting to us. Some items we bought were just very poorly made. Service was awful rude overwhelmed employees with no desire to help complaints of no breaks, long hours and low pay. Salespeople in Christmas lights that almost had a used car mentality where their handlers pushed them at customers demanding they close on pre-lit trees from $1000 and up to ridiculous dollar amounts. This store commercialized Christmas in the worst possible way bringing it to the place movie villains only dream to take it to, I take it back avoid this place like the plague and support your local stores and there employees that are there for you year round. Best Holiday Shop in Town! I shop everywhere (love Hob Lob, Micheal's, etc.) because I am an "at home" crafter. I make for myself, others and sometimes for profit. This is the THE best store in town. If I want something "special" this IS my go to. The majority of my personal Holiday decor comes from here. I am a serious shopper, but in no way are we wealthy. I prefer to buy one item of quality, periodically than a sack full of less than things. I live in small modest home (seriously), but for Christmas we have 2 full sized trees, 3 four-footers and a couple of two footers. I "build" vignettes all around our home. I also do a couple of seasonal trees for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Valentines, Easter and a summer tree. I add seasonal touches throughout our house to go with the trees on tabletops, the mantle, etc. We have a storage shed which holds it all in their off seasons. I have a wonderful husband who helps me in a million ways. He loves Holidays and this is my labor of love for him. He loves the Holiday trees and decor. His only participation in these efforts is to carry buckets in and out. I truly am disappointed that some people posted so negatively about what is available at HW. I am thinking they may not be strongly creative and can't think about using some of the pieces, if they can't afford it all. Trust me I am jelly for the thousand dollar pieces, but I can't afford it nor would the size of our home complement them. HW has things ALL sizes and price points. No, without money you cannot go look at one of the fabulous 10' themed trees and purchase everything to replicate it. But you can spend some dollars on a few nicer things and fill in with more affordable options on your scale. Over time, you will have a nicer collection. To me, this staff treats all of us the same, the folks who can't afford it all and the folks needing to budget. There are affordable decor items here and some items may be from China, but it is a far superior purchase to other items in the larger chain stores. I went yesterday and took a friend on a tight budget and she was able to buy a few things and feel like she had quality and stayed in her own financial comfort lane. Now after this review, I am going to go back today and get things I thought about yesterday. They are having an excellent sale! So when the other reviews say that the stuff here is pricey, they aren't kidding! Holiday Warehouse has some really beautiful ornaments, decorations, and things of that nature...but WOW is this stuff expensive. Definitely not for the casual holiday decorator or the economical seasonal shopper. From my browsing I'd say that the typical/average individual ornament was around $13. Also, I was there for probably twenty five minutes and more than likely would've bought a couple things, but not one single employee asked me if I needed help or even greeted me when I came in. I also feel like the overall motif was more of a classic/old school style of Christmas. Lots of vintage Santa Claus statues and higher end decorations. I'm extremely disappointed in Holiday Warehouse. I have made a number of purchases over the years. Evidently I don't learn my lesson because I kept going back. I bought a pre-lit Christmas tree and had trouble with the lights. Several sections of lights went out just after it was put up. After consulting with Holiday Warehouse, they said they would fix it after Christmas because I didn't want to take down the tree and put it back up. After Christmas they refused to fix the lights on the tree and said they don't do that. Every year I try and get that tree to work and have nothing but trouble. After several other issues, this year I opened four boxes of lights for the first time that were purchased two years ago. They were $79.99 per box. Two worked perfectly. One box contained the wrong product (it was a clear/white strand instead of green like it said). The last box had evidently been opened, put together and put back in the box. It did not work. I knew it had already been opened because I did not have to put the electrical plug together like I did on the first two. When I called, HW said there was nothing they could do. I wasn't looking for them to be refunded but I felt like there was something they could have done. They have people who put together trees and troubleshoot lights. It would have been nice to have them offer to have someone familiar with lights look at them. Instead, they said the manufacturer changes the sku number every year and there is nothing they can do. In the case of the wrong product in the box they should have stood behind that. It is their own branded product. After 6 years of Christmas decorations, wreath classes and materials and other purchases, it seems I experience some kind of problem every other year. Being a small business owner myself, if I sold a product to someone and they opened it up at a later date and it wasn't the product advertised on the box, I would stand behind it. I visited Holiday Warehouse on 12/5 and was overwhelmed with all the choices and the color coordination. To the right when you walk in is a fabulous array of ribbons-luckily I already had mine or my wallet would be super empty. Then came the selection of trees- some nice, some super overpriced for the quality. Tree skirts were very unique but did not work with my tree redecoration and were far too big. On the other side near the registers were rooms and rooms of Christmas decorations sorted by color- which I appreciated since I had a theme to work with. They also had a small Hanukkah section with cute little choices as thats hard to find in Texas. I found that a lot of the ornaments were unique- however a hefty price came with this luxury. I walked out of there with 2 ornaments and some candles. Less than a week later I drove back from Love Field area- quite a trip, to return 2 items as they did not fit the tree how I had imagined with my theme revamp. I was told by the woman at the register I could not get my money back and instead could only get a store credit-Something that was not made aware to me. When i made the purchase I asked if they could be returned and my cashier assured me everything could. WRONG. I walked out of there feeling like I was robbed. I will NOT be recommending this to others and honestly, i feel like the giftcard was just a loss I need to write off at this point. I've been to this business multiple times, and each time I think about writing a review but I've always chalked my experience up to it being an off day for them, but it's pretty clear that it's consistent. They have beautiful merchandise, probably most of it is unaffordable to many people but it is a place you can get unusual Christmas decorations or high end floral. However, I have had experiences with multiple employees and even a manager or two, and they all are incredibly rude. Dismissive of any question you might have, unfriendly when you walk in and while you are shopping, and today the cashier said she needed to go find a manager to check a price and then she sort of slowly wandered around the store and then came back and told me "I can't find her" and then just sort of stood there. They refused to honor a price on an item that was mismarked when several of them were mismarked. They were clearly putting inventory out onto the floor and so probably these items got put in the wrong place and were mismarked, but they should honor the price instead of just flat out refusing. I've also watched them treats other customers this way and it's just not worth it. The items are beautiful, but the attitudes are ugly. read more

This store has Christmas decorations that look and feel like they would be at Pottery Barn or Restoration Hardware but prices that are more like Target. I walked through and was a little overwhelmed by the amount of product they have, which really is a little of everything holiday. Ipaid 25.00 for a class to learn how to make wreaths and swags. I went in there and they had some of the most beautiful stuff I have ever seen. The prices were really out of my budget. You had to purchase everything that goes on your wreath. So I ended up spending about 100 dollars for class and my beautiful on a budget wreath. All the staff was very nice.
