The ultimate spot to grab a gift for any occasion and also a lovely place to just browse!…read more I was in the area getting last minute groceries and decided to drop by since it's been awhile since I've been to a Therapy store. This is my second time here and the entire area used to be open to browse but looks like half the store is sectioned off. Nonetheless, there were still a variety of knickknacks and whimsical pieces, such as adorable stationary, cookbooks, funny pet items, stickers, a small selection of clothes, etc, at relatively reasonable prices. I've been to a couple of Therapy stores but this location definitely stands out: there are a lot more diverse options here. As always, I love the local custom items, like this jewelry dish I found that says "someone in San Bruno loves you". Extremely friendly and welcoming service. While I didn't purchase anything this time, I did notice that there were so many delightful baby gift options so I'll definitely be back to get something for a friend who is expecting in a couple months!

Jaya (sorry I might be getting your name wildly incorrect) was super helpful in guiding us through what is available in the store and sharing stories about the artists who've created many of the different items. Everything feels curated by the best tastemakers so all you need to do is walk in and see what you or someone you'd like to get something special for would like. It's obvious many of the books are also carefully and thoughtfully chosen and Jaya confirmed the owners are very intentional about what they include on the store shelves. I ended up buying 4 items of clothes and a wireless little table mushroom lamp. I was tempted by everything else including jewelry and a felt rainbow home decor thing. Money can't buy happiness and it can't replace my dog but these things have brought me some joy and therapy. We live in San Francisco so we're excited for the Mission location in SF as well after experiencing this amazing San Bruno store first!

There wasn't any other customers and she was doing nothing, just staying behind the counter, not even organizing the merchandise on the table that are messy. Will not shop at this location whenever u see her there in the future. Oh and she doesn't greet anyone, I think she thinks her job is just to ring the register and get your money. If time allows I would prefer going to the downtown location.

They have really creative and cool designs for art prints, cards ($7), plushies ($9-$90), bags, pencil pouches ($16), t-shirts, mugs, magnets ($5), candles, notebooks ($21), etc that cannot be (easily) found anywhere else online. One of the most creative and artistic gift / souvenir shops I've ever seen at an airport! Only downside is that it's very overpriced. A medium sized (9 inch tall max) unicorn plushie was $89.90 (see attached photos). I purchased a card for $7 and a pencil pouch for $16. The pouch has Silicon Valley anthropomorphic businessmen unicorns in suits and sunglasses looking like they are in a work conference meeting. Unicorn tech bros! The card has a cute design reminiscent of The Unicorn Tapestries (European medieval artwork from the Middle Ages). The cashier was friendly and asked "Where are you from?" And wished me "have a safe journey".

With my recent discovery that the outlet store near the airport Costco closed, I made my way here,…read morethe company's flagship store and where the factory is (at least, that's what I was told). After finishing several errands south of the airport, I stopped here on my way back to the City. It's just a few blocks from the Tanforan Shopping Mall which will soon disappear with the increasing demand for offices and housing. Coming here around 11:30 am on a Thursday, the parking area was empty save a couple of trucks. I was the only customer when I walked in and happily saw a familiar face. It was a lady who I remembered from that South Airport Blvd. location and she hadn't changed a bit. Armed with my friend's shopping list, she put together a box of chocolates (yes, Forrest). As I waited, my eyes wandered and, against doctor's orders, I chose couple things from the counter besides gathering a few lollipops (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=v6SB3ny5jQMWXA0LGxOqig). The helpful lady also helped me get an item that wasn't in the shelves when I looked for it (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=hlCTUiaLBkkgq4vDi9zGjw), dark chocolate California brittle. My single cups included a cup of dark molasses chips and the seasonal special, a tropical one whose name I forget. Do ask for a sample as they are always more than willing to offer. Though sad that the outlet one near Costco is no more, I was happy to see Alicia M. who was there before moving on to here. I came back a week later to get a few more things and she and the other hospitable staff were more than helpful. Can't come here too often but it's good to know that it's very close to several of our rotational lunch places.
