I was trying to exchange an item for the exact same item. The reason for the exchange was that the pants I received as a gift were a much shorter fit than the same model I've bought before. I wasn't asking for a refund -- I simply wanted to exchange them for the same style in a normal fit. Because I didn't have the receipt or tag, I was told I couldn't make the exchange. The customer service was poor, and the manager, Raul, was not helpful. Considering how much they charge for their clothing, a much higher level of customer service is expected. I will no longer be shopping at Lululemon and will be taking my business to Alo instead.

However, during both of my visits, I was greeted by very friendly young staff members who were very helpful in guiding me through the selling process and wait times. I was so happy to experience this because it's so awesome for Pacifica to have a Plato's Closet! I had relatively small bags of items to sell, so I did not need to wait very long at all. I browsed around the store and saw lots of cool things. Nice selection and interesting finds that change every day! I saw some times that looked almost new with great prices. Definitely recommend this place! One thing to note is that they close their selling booth one hour before store closing, so make sure to get in earlier if you have stuff to sell!

The return today was totally easy. Return for store credit for a future purchase because I know I'll be back. Interesting thing I found out today. The point of sales systems at each Plato's closet location around the Bay Area are not interconnected. But if you take your receipt for store credit over to the other location and explain what you want, along with the receipt, they should be able to accommodate. Since I'm going to be over in San Mateo, I just might try it with the San Mateo location since I'm needing another pair of jeans anyway. I totally recommend Plato's Closet not just for their selection, but also for their customer service!
