It's got everything you could need in a small town without having to drive all the way into Sacramento.

I ended up grabbing a couple drinks, some snacks, and candy that I hadn't seen before.

This is one of the few places where I can reliably find sugar-free Red Bull in stock, which isn't always the case at other convenience stores. They also carry the harder-to-find monk fruit version, which my husband loves and is surprisingly difficult to track down. But my personal little treasure hunt here is always the candy section. Every once in a while I find my hidden gem -- the Skor bar. And for anyone thinking it's basically the same as a Heath Bar, it's not. Totally different, and not many places carry Skor anymore. Today I looked all over the store thinking they were out... until I spotted the final three bars sitting right by the cashier. Another thing I appreciate here is the staff. The super tall guy who's often working the register is always friendly and welcoming, and he consistently reminds me to use my loyalty card, which I appreciate because I would absolutely forget otherwise. They also carry Sweet Tart Ropes in a bunch of different flavors, and I always grab the "flavor of the month" aka holiday ropes when I see it. It's a small thing, but I like slipping one into my kid's lunch box as a little surprise treat--just a tiny "thinking about you, hope this makes you smile" moment during their school day. Helpful tip: Check near the register for the Skor bars if you're hunting for one--they're sometimes stocked there instead of the main candy aisle. Between the hard-to-find snacks, the fun rotating treats, and genuinely friendly service, this is one of those neighborhood convenience stops that keeps me coming back.

I come here almost every day for their healthy lunch and dinner options, fresh‑pressed juices, and consistently excellent customer service. This store is a major lifestyle highlight for anyone living in Pocket‑Greenhaven -- clean, organized, and always stocked with high‑quality choices that make busy days easier. The staff at this Nugget location is truly exceptional. Every team member is friendly, helpful, and creates a welcoming environment that reflects the strong community feel of Pocket‑Greenhaven and South Land Park. I've never had a single bad experience here. Their positive energy and professionalism are part of what makes this neighborhood such a great place to call home. When I talk to homebuyers about the benefits of living in Pocket‑Greenhaven, I mention Nugget markets. If you're looking for a neighborhood market with amazing staff, healthy food options, and a warm local atmosphere, this Nugget Markets location is unbeatable. Special shoutout to Katherine the manager, Jamila in the Deli and Mr. Jon in the bakery!

Headquartered in Davis, CA dating back to 1926, they have been more of an upscale supermarket experience by offering top-notch customer service while being a forefront to the community. This includes empowering future generations, fortifying the neighborhoods, cultivating environmental change, and inspiring philanthropy. The location I am focusing on is in the Greenhaven-Pocket area. Located in a fairly sizable outdoor strip mall, this Nugget is located directly on Florin Rd and tucked in between Greenhaven Dr and the CA I-5 highway. As for this location, they have been in operation since around 2005 and been a staple for folks that reside in this area. Since I used to work only a 1/2 mile from this store (for about 3 years), I've frequented it on my lunch break as well as before and after work. The parking situation is shared with several other smaller brick-and-mortar businesses including a Starbucks, Subway, L&L Hawaiian BBQ, and much more. The storefront entrance is inviting and welcoming as the entire layout is accommodating while being easy to navigate for customers. I will say that the selection at Nugget is quite possibly the best I have seen in any local grocery store. Here you will find a vast array of produce (regular/organic fruits and veggies), meat/poultry, dairy, frozen foods, and a very impressive variety of beer and wine. However, their deli section which includes all varieties of meats, cheeses, and freshly baked breads is a real winner in my book. The hot and cold foods to go showcase freshly made soups, salads, olives, cold cuts, and meals that you can heat up on your stove or on your BBQ grill. I also wanted to emphasize that the sandwiches here are some of the best I have tried, better than Raley's/Bel Air and much better than what you'd order at a Safeway or Save Mart (all staple supermarkets in Northern California). In addition to the sandwiches, they also offer coffee/tea, fresh juices, açai and Pitaya bowls, smoothies, and much more. I will say that since Nuggets focuses on quality control, much of their food items are significantly higher than the competition. However, just about everything I've purchased here (whether it is pasta, a bottle of wine, or a loaf of bread) has been above average. All in all, the Florin-Greenhaven "Nugget Markets" earn a 4 out of 5 stars from me. Some of the key staple items are quite expensive and don't correlate with my budget. However, the customer service here is top notch while the cleanliness of the store is very well kept. I also wanted to add that the checkout lanes were run very efficiently while making sure every customer is well taken care of. And considering they are open for business 7 days a week from 6am-9pm, you can be assured that they will have what you're looking for.

I always get a few jams to gift to people, and whatever produce is in season. They have white nectarine, peach, apricot, and strawberry. The jalapeño strawberry is one of my dad's favorites. Their pies are also very good! The barn is very cute and the water tower is hard to miss. They have clean restrooms with flush toilets for travelers. They Staff has always been super helpful and there are usually a few free samples to try. Do note that the produce selection is not as great in the winter, but still worth a quick stop for some ginger snap cookies!

Generally, while many of the dried fruits and veggies looked great on the shelves, when I opened them up I found they were either fried or sugary and weren't of a very high quality for the higher price we paid. I did love that the service was incredibly friendly, they had a great live music singer, and that I was able to find an adorable teaspoon set as a gift for a friend. But at the end of the day, the items didn't feel unique and many of snacks ended up getting thrown out when we got home, so I'm not sure I would stop in again.
